Of all of the stories that the mainstream media has refused to properly report upon in 2016 and over the last several years, perhaps none will be as overly important to the health of our planet Earth and the health of the American people than the disastrous and still-unfolding catastrophe due to the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
While we still barely hear a peep from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and all of the other MSM outlets who've been letting down the American people on this subject, we're thankful that we can count on ENENews, Arnie Gunderson over at Fairewinds and all of the other bloggers, websites and Fukushima videographers on YouTube who constantly pound home the message that we'll certainly not get from the MSM.
As ENENews tells us in their two latest stories, according to nuclear engineer Gunderson, alarm bells are going off over a Fukushima plume that is coming to the West coast of the US and as Gunderson tells us, 'people will be dying from radiation that's flowing across the Pacific" and runs right over us with this cold hard fact: "We've contaminated the biggest source of water on the planet, and there's no way to stop it." You can hear Gunderson in the 1st video below beginning at the 3 minute 30 second mark when he joins the program.
In fact, Gunderson tells us, the endless flow of nuclear waste into the Pacific Ocean will be ongoing for more than a century and if Americans think that we'll be immune to its effects, all we have to do is take a look at the endless fish, birds, mammals, plant and animal life that has been lost along the US West coast and in the Pacific Ocean for the last 5+ years. Humanity has clearly forgotten that what we do to the 'web of life, we do to ourselves'.
Apr 8, 2016: BROWNS FERRY [Alabama]… Event Date: 04/06/2016… Emergency Class: UNUSUAL EVENT… EMERGENCY DECLARED… OFFSITE NOTIFICATION… UNUSUAL EVENT DECLARED DUE TO MAIN STEAMLINE HIGH HIGH RADIATION CONDITION… At 1545 CDT on 04/06/16 Browns Ferry Unit 3 declared and exited the declaration of an unusual event due to a main steam line high high radiation condition. Power to Unit 3 was reduced to 91 percent power. The high radiation condition alarm cleared at 1526 CDT. Browns Ferry Unit 3 reported that the high radiation conditions were due to resin intrusion from the condensate demineralizers into the reactor and hydrogen water chemistry was a potential contributor to the event. The cause is still under investigation.
As our YouTube videographer tells us in the 2nd video, there is a 'Fukushima kill list' for 2016, names of people that we can watch, some of them who travel frequently, some of them celebrities, some experiencing unexplained illnesses over the past several months and years that could possibly be caused by radiation sickness. As our videographer tells us, these are our 'canaries the coal mine' and we can learn greatly of what might be to come by following these people's health.
Mar 7, 2016: Massive amounts of radiation continue to enter Japan’s water and air, and the Pacific Ocean, daily… Due to its triple meltdowns and the unmitigable radioactive releases, Fukushima Daiichi will continue to bleed radiation into the Pacific Ocean for more than a century… There is no road map to follow with directions to stop the ongoing debacle…
Mar 30, 2016: [Univ. of California] Berkeley’s nuclear program has been in the forefront of the pro-nuclear propaganda for decades, and since Fukushima has been aggressively downplaying the significance of it. So, whatever comes out of Berkeley, I just attribute to a very pro-nuclear faculty… [Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is] measuring 1,000 miles offshore [of the US West Coast] and… picking up 10 becquerels per cubic meter [Bq/m3]. At my point, that’s when my alarm bells go off is 10 [Bq/m3]… That plume is still coming, the Pacific is a huge place and to think that a disaster on the opposite side of the world can be detected and begin to contaminate California, I think that the monumental shattering conclusion [is] radiation knows no borders… So this ‘dilution is the solution to pollution’ is what I think Berkeley believes in. What you can be sure of is that somebody’s going to die from the radiation that’s in the Pacific, but you just won’t know who it is – and they’re counting on that. The nuclear establishment is saying, ‘Well, we can smear that out in a broader epidemiological study.’
Apr 5, 2016: We’re looking at newspaper coverage from the last couple of weeks and it’s clear that the plant continues to hemorrhage.
We also learn from Gary Franchi and the Next News Network that there is at least one form of life that is now thriving in Fukushima, 'terrifying radioactive boars' that are allegedly breeding like rabbits and so fast that they can't be killed off and buried quickly enough according to excerpt below from this linked story from The Week and the 3rd video below.
Radioactive boars living around the Fukushima nuclear site in Japan are wreaking havoc as they run rampant in the region unchecked, The Independent reports. Following the Fukushima Daiichi meltdown in 2011, a quarantine zone was established to keep humans safe from leaked radioactive material. As a result, the boars, whose population had been controlled by human hunters, have flourished, eating nuclear-contaminated foods and destroying the local agriculture. The boars have reportedly caused around $873,000 in damage to local farms.
In an attempt to curb the exploding population, the boars are being killed faster than they can even be buried. Containing 600 boars per mass grave, the city of Nihonmatsu has actually run out of public land they can use to dispose of the pests. Authorities have resorted to trying to incinerate the boars instead, but that too has proven to be difficult; hunters have tried burying carcasses themselves, but the boars are often dug up by wild dogs. The boars can grow to be massive, too, regularly weighing around 220 pounds.
While the boars were a local delicacy before the nuclear meltdown, tests have shown them to now be too contaminated for human consumption. The area directly around Fukushima remains at levels of radiation 300 times what is safe for people..
