Barack Obama And The Globalists Wanted America To Accept A MAD Suicide Pact: While The DC Elite Were Asleep At The Wheel, 'Marriage Made In Hell' Between AI And Nuclear Super-Weapons Was Consummated

By Dr Peter Vincent Pry - All News Pipeline

(ANP: In the two new videos at the bottom of this story, Dr. Pry joins the Jim Bakker Show.)

Seventy-three years ago, on Aug. 6 and Aug. 9 of 1945, Japan’s cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed.

Atomic bombs killed at least 129,000 people.

Thus began the age of nuclear weapons, an unprecedented revolution in military technology casting over global civilization the shadow of extinction.

On this tragic anniversary, what are the prospects for avoiding nuclear apocalypse?

Washington, D.C. elites give themselves high marks for "managing" nuclear threats.

Indeed, in their imaginations, largely uninformed by facts or history, their nuclear strategy Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) resulted in a largely "stable" relationship between Washington, D.C. and Moscow, excepting the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis — purportedly the only real nuclear "close call."

That is why elites like Susan Rice, President Obama’s National Security Advisor, and former director of National Intelligence, Gen. James Clapper, want Americans to accept a MAD suicide pact with North Korea.

Below is a partial list of other Washington-Moscow nuclear "close calls" in addition to the Cuban missile crisis that belie the purported stability of MAD:

· 1950-1953 Korean War

· 1956 Suez Crisis

· 1958-1961 Berlin Crisis

· 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis

· 1968 Invasion Czechoslovakia

· 1973 Middle East War

· 1983 Satellite False Warning

· 1983 Able Archer NATO Exercise

· 1991 Coup Against Gorbachev

· 1994 Revolt Against Yeltsin

· 1995 Missile False Warning

· 1999 Balkans Crisis

· 2013 Syrian Crisis

· 2014 Crimean Crisis

· 2018 NATO Crisis

The preceding partial list excludes many other credible nuclear threats from Russia, China, North Korea or between Israel-Iran-Syria-Iraq or Pakistan-India-China that could escalate out of control.

Washington, D.C. elites dismiss Russia’s nuclear threats over Crimea, Syria, and strengthening NATO — including dictator Vladimir Putin’s March 1 televised threat about his new generation of nuclear super-weapons that should compel the U.S. to "listen to us now" — as mere "bluster" and "nuclear saber-rattling.”

National security "experts" have an almost infinite capacity to deny and under-estimate every nuclear threat, and see every nuclear threat as resolvable through negotiation. The boundless optimism of free societies may prove fatal in the context of MAD.

True believers in Mutual Assured Destruction probably do not even know the U.S. is now unilaterally vulnerable to MAD:

"In fact, the U.S. no longer has the ability to deliver 400 equivalent megatons (EMTs) to destroy 25 per cent of Russia’s population and 75 per cent of industry after a Russian first-strike, which is the classical definition of MAD requirements for the U.S.

"In contrast, Russia—after a U.S. first-strike — has the capability to destroy more than 25 per cent of U.S. population and 75 per cent of industry by delivering 100 EMTs against the U.S., whose population and industry is much more urbanized and concentrated than in Russia. U.S. population and industry is also much less well protected." (See, "Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) No Longer Mutual," Family Security Matters, March 14, 2018).

Moscow never believed in MAD. During the Cold War and today Russia’s military doctrine and planning focused on fighting and winning nuclear war, a fact also proven by the Warsaw Pact’s now declassified plans to make a massive surprise nuclear attack against NATO.

Kyle Mizukami in The National Interest, of July 31, 2018, typifies MAD media elites still in denial and trying to bury their heads in the sand, "Just because the Warsaw Pact planned for atomic war didn’t mean the war was any more likely than if it hadn’t planned at all, right? Surely this was a case of 'thinking about the unthinkable.' Some historians insist that the Soviet Union had a 'fairy tale mindset' when it came to a hypothetical war in Europe and the use of nuclear weapons."

For MAD to work, a potential adversary is not supposed to be able to spring any important surprises. But just last summer, North Korea surprised the intelligence community by having over three times more nuclear warheads than expected (60), testing ICBMs that can strike anywhere in the U.S., and testing an H-Bomb.

For MAD to work, Russia is not supposed to gain nuclear superiority.

But Russia has at least a two to one advantage over the U.S. in overall numbers of nuclear weapons, more modern delivery systems, and advanced generation nuclear warheads for specialized effects that have no counterparts in the U.S. deterrent.

The U.S. has no plans to match these Russian advantages, except with more modern delivery systems, mostly arriving after 2027.

Now Russia is testing Poseidon, an autonomous robot submarine allegedly armed with a 100-megaton warhead and Artificial Intelligence. The marriage of nuclear super-weapons and AI is the kind of technological escalation that Henry Kissinger recently warned could destroy humankind.

Electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and cyber weapons are revolutionary new threats.

Washington elites have been asleep at the wheel and not responsible stewards of nuclear deterrence since the Cold War.

We need a military counter-revolution rendering nuclear missiles obsolete with space-based defenses and protecting electronic civilization from EMP and cyber by hardening electric grids and life-sustaining critical infrastructures.

Replace MAD with a new national security philosophy based on defending Americans, not merely avenging them. Call it Strategic Assured National Existence (SANE).
