Holy War In America: Outrage! Catholic School Sued For 'Too Many Crosses In Every Room'

When the "Draw Mohammed" Contest in Texas was attacked by terrorists because the constitionally guaranteed free speech rights of those participating in the contest "offended" those that armed themselves and opened fire, many pointed to panel discussions on news programs where terrorsit sympathisers actually suggested Pamel Geller, one of the origanziers who has since been named as a target by ISIS, be put before a sharia court and killed, as an example of the freedoms and liberties of Americans being under attack.

The "Holy War" continues in America as yet another example pops up in the headlines.

This time in the form of a complaint made to the Washington, D.C. office of Human Rights against the "Catholic University" in Washington D.C., because there are “too many crosses in every room" which is a "human rights violation that prevents Muslim students from praying there."

In the video clip below, Sean Hannity is joined by Ibrahim Ramey, who is a Muslim Activist and Jay Sekulow, an attorney from American Center for Law and Justice, with Mr. Ramey insisting that a private Catholic School, with no legal obligation to accept students of other religions, be forced to accommodate the religious practices of Muslims within their school.

Mr. Sekulow argues the law, nor the US constitution, provides any legal basis for these complaints to go forward.

Others weighing in on this issue include Patrick Reilly of the Cardinal Newman Society, who states "This attorney is really turning civil rights on its head. He’s using the law for his own discrimination against the Catholic institution and essentially saying Catholic University cannot operate according to Catholic principles."

Thomas Peters on the website CatholicVote asks "Can you imagine a law professor helping Catholic students to sue a Jewish or Muslim school to demand that the schools install crosses, remove their religious symbols, and allow the Catholics to construct a chapel on their property?" He continues "Can you imagine the argument being that Jewish and Muslims schools using their religious symbols and following their faith traditions would be described in the legal brief as “offensive?!" The video was uploaded by YouTube user Jesus Light of Life, who states the following in the details of his video URL:

The Muslims know exactly what they are doing. The have a purpose and that is to change the world religion to Islamic. They are moving into all parts of the world and building in numbers. This is not an isolated incident. There are many aspects to our culture that they are trying to change and next thing you know we will be a different world with our rights revoked. Because we are politically correct and we don't stand up for our rights in these situations and we have gradually lost some of our rights and freedom in America. If you don't like what you see speak up to them, to our institutions, to our Politicians. Why should we change our values and religious beliefs because foreigners who come here don't like our values. They can leave! They are not welcome under those terms.

The man who actually filed the complaint is George Washington University Law School Professor John Banzhaf and in researching I came across another lawsuit filed by Mr. Banzhaf in 2011, against John Garvey, the President of Catholic University of America, against the elimination of "mixed-gender dormitories on campus."

In fact, it seems as if Mr. Banzhaf is a one-man lawsuit factory, kown for his "frivolous" lawsuits.
