Cover Up Or Military Training? UFO Reports Denied By Military At Jackhead

By Susan Duclos - All News PipeLine

Before getting into the chaotic reporting of the Jackhead incident that has the Internet chattering with claims and counter claims of a UFO crash vs military training in Jackhead, lets state right out that writing about "Unidentified Fly Objects" (UFOs) does not automatically mean we are writing about "aliens."

On February 18, 2015, social media reports, with photos, started making the rounds that a UFO had crashed in the city of Jackhead, Manitoba region in Canada and that military vehicles were converging on the location and "members of the public are not allowed near the crash site and photography is not permitted anywhere near the site.."

By February 19, 2015, the buzz created by the incident forced the military to respond publicly, claiming it was just military training exercises, but no mention of a military plane crashing.

But it was not a UFO at all, says Lt.-Col. Paul Davies, commanding officer 38 Territorial Battalion Group, which is involved in an Arctic Response Company Group training exercise on Lake Winnipeg this week.

"There's no aliens, just my friends in the air force who are out there helping us on this exercise," Davies told CBC News on Thursday.

"I have the commander of that air force contingent sitting right beside me and, you know, he assures us that that was not a UFO, but that was him."

A quick search into Canada UFO sightings shows that Manitoba has reportedly seen their share of UFO's with claims dating back to 1967. Multiple incidents described by eyewitnesses, including a Constable named Jim Blackwood who received reports of a hovering UFO in 1978, with the claim that when he went to investigate the scene the UFO was still present and visible. Those sightings continued up until 2014.

So we are left with a couple questions... first being that if it was a military "crash" why not say so, why would they prevent civilians from seeing what it actually was which would have stopped the chatter then and there? Also note the military in reponse to a "UFO" sighting automatically started denying "aliens," to which as was explained at the top of this article, the two are not the same, so why even go there?

A UFO? Military training? Some top secret experiment that the military wants to hide so badly they would rather people jump into the "mystery" of a UFO rather than admit it?
