Blue City Madness: 27 Of The 30 Most Murderous Cities Are Run By Democrats And 14 Of Those 30 Cities Have Soros Backed Prosecutors - Big Chain Stores Fleeing These Crime-Ridden Cities
As we watch story after story come out of "blue" cities across America, including theft, riots, property destruction, vandalism and murder, and that in just in the last week, we see patterns of behavior causing people and businesses to "get out" as fast as humanly possible, and those same "blue" city leaders doubling down on the soft-on-crime policies that started it all.
I will also have a document embedded at the bottom, that shows conclusively that they claim of there being a "red state murder" problem, stemming from a March 2022 study from a leftist think tank, Third Way, is nothing more than a bait and switch, since those numbers come from the murder rate in individual blue state cities within a red state.
There is a lot to unpack here, so lets begin.
BLUE CITY MADNESS: CRIME WAVES
In Chicago, run by radical liberal Lori Lightfoot, until May 15, 2023 when her term ends, after a call went out on social media, a massive mob of teenagers erupted into violence, vandalizing properties, busting up windshields and torching vehicles, while attacking motorists, forcing law enforcement to escort innocent bystanders to safety.
It was a lot of cops here but they were still outnumbered,” the witness said. “There were so many teenagers that showed up, and they tried to keep the peace and keep them under control.”
One woman whose car was damaged by the mob reported her husband was beaten while sitting in the passenger seat, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The two teens shot in the melee were also taken to the hospital, and were in fair condition.
Kim Foxx—Cook County (Chicago), Illinois. Probably the most famous Soros-backed DA, Foxx was boosted into office with the help of $2 million in Soros cash. Foxx has most recently been in the news for potential ethics violations in her 2019 decision to drop charges against Jussie Smollet for his infamous hate crime hoax. (Smollett was recently convicted on the same charges.) Foxx has also made headlines for presiding over Chicago’s largest spike in homicides in more than 30 years while her office dropped charges against 30 percent of felony defendants during 2020.
We are also seeing businesses leaving crime-ridden democrat-run cities.
The shuttering of store in Chicago comes just weeks after it closed its last two stores in Portland, Oregon. Another city controlled by Democrats, that has often been in the news due to crime, rioting and destruction of property.
Oregon's Governor is Tina Kotek, a Democrat. Portland's Mayor is Ted Wheeler, a Democrat.
Walmart has also closed stores in Everett Washington, led by Democrat Mayor Cassie Franklin. Another in Minneapolis, Minnesota, led by Mayor Jacob Frey, Democrat. Yet Another Walmart closed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, run by Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Democrat.

A store on Portage Road in Indiana, in Hawaii on Fort Street, San Mateo Boulevard in New Mexico, 99 H Street in D.C. and two stores on Howell Mill Road and M.L.K. Jr Drive in Atlanta.
It also closed a further two in Illinois on South Halsted Street and South Route 59.
Walmart is not the only big chain store name closing stores in democrat-led cities due to rampant theft.
Target:
After losing more than $400 million in profits last November due to "organized gangs of shoplifters," Target has announced the closing of multiple stores.
Stores in Baltimore, Maryland, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Alexandria, Virginia are being shuttered.
All four cities run by Democrat Mayors.

Walgreens:
Walgreens closed a store in Chicago in January and three last month Galveston, Texas and two in Orlando, Florida.
Once again, say it with me everyone.... all three run by Democrat Mayors. I will say, the news reports made it extremely difficult to find the party affiliation for Galveston Mayor Craig Brown, but I did eventually find it.
High-profile incidents in San Francisco - where thieves were filmed walking out of stores with armfuls of stolen goods while security guards stood helpless - seemed emblematic of the issues facing the retailer.
And there have indeed been a number of closures, with five alone in San Francisco in fall 2021.
Hopefully no one needs reminding of what party controls SF and California.
Macy's:
Macy's is shutting four stores down as part of their plan to shutter 127 locations over the course of three years because of "organized retail crimes," which cut into their profits.
The four states where Macy's is closing are California, Colorado, Hawaii and Maryland. All four states are now run by Democrat governors.
Its CEO Jeff Gennette said it has experienced a rise in theft across its stores and that it was an 'industrywide trend'.
'These are crime levels we haven’t seen before,' he said.
Other stores closing doors include Best Buy which is shuttering 20 'large-format' stores this year," and Bed Bath & Beyond, which is closing hundreds of stores, for a variety of reasons.
In march of 2022, leftists group Third Way produced a study called "The Red State Murder Problem," claiming that the murder rates in red states were higher than in blue states, yet when that study was countered by the Heritage Foundation, showing that 27 of the most murderous cities are all run by Democrats with another one run by an Independent that caucuses with Democrats.
The 19 page report is embedded below. I'll highlight the numbers that jump out at me, and we hope readers will highlight what they find of note, in the comment section.
From the report titled "The Blue City Murder Problem," we see the following points of data:
• By June 2022, the three top cities with the highest homicide rates are Chicago, with 304 homicides; Philadelphia, with 240 homicides; and New York, with 197 homicides.
• New analysis of crime data shows that high-crime counties are governed largely by Democrats, driving up the crime rates in their otherwise red states.
• When you remove the crime-infested, homicide-riddled cities from the state murder rate featured in the Third Way study, you dramatically lower the murder rate for that state, upending their conclusions and exposing the piece for what it really is: a straightforward attempt at political projection dressed up as a “study.”
• Not surprisingly, of those 30 cities, 27 have Democratic mayors, the exceptions being Lexington and Jacksonville, which have Republican mayors, and Las Vegas, whose mayor is an Independent. And within those 30 cities there are at least 14 Soros-backed or Soros-inspired rogue prosecutors. Those Soros bought-and-paid-for or inspired rogue prosecutors include:

* Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby
* St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner

* Raul Torrez, Bernalillo County (Albuquerque) District Attorney;
* Mike Freeman, Hennepin County (Minneapolis) Attorney;
* John Creuzot, Dallas County District Attorney;
* Glenn R. Funk, Nashville District Attorney General;
* Santana Deberry, Durham District Attorney;
* George Gascon, Los Angeles County District Attorney;
* Chesa Boudin, San Francisco District Attorney;23 and
* Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney.
The key number isn't shocking to those of us that have been tracking crime:
• There were 2,554 homicides in those 30 cities through June 2022. In the 14 cities with Soros-backed rogue prosecutors, there were 1,752 homicides, representing 68 percent of homicides in the 30 top homicide cities in the United States.
They do a much more detailed analysis which will be seen in the document embedded below, but those numbers, the evidence of businesses running from crime infested cities, to the actual numbers themselves, prove without a doubt that blue city madness is destroying this nation.
BOTTOM LINE
Between Soros backed prosecutors tossing hardened criminals right back onto the streets, and radical leftist mayors more worried about pushing "woke" policies than they are their citizens, and blue city crime and murders on the rise because of the lack of enforcement of the law, we're witnessings blue city madness destroying our very nation.
