CNN 'Very Fake News' Thinks Woman Holding 'Pepe The Frog' Doll Is Newsworthy As Ted Cruz Calls Out Media For 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'

By Susan Duclos - All News PipeLine

Recently Senator Ted Cruz accused the majority of media of being "out of their minds" with "Trump Derangement Syndrome," for their obsession with porn star and stripper Stormy Daniels, which followed their year-long obsession with Russia, where even a CNN panelist admitted the public she spoke with didn't care at all about Russia.

DO THE MEDIA REPRESENT THE 'PEOPLE'?

With the media and others freaking out by President Trump talking about de-credentialing some members of the media, it is important to note that the First Amendment states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Nowhere in that First Amendment, which the media consistently throws out there every time President Trump hits back at them, does it say any reporter must be allowed credentials for White House press briefings, or to be allowed at events. Nor does the First Amendment bar a president from calling the media out on their consistent negative, hostile coverage, especially when multiple stories from a variety of "news" outlets have been documented as fake news, inaccurate news, news that had to be retracted, deleted, that cost reporters jobs, that tanked the stock market while being inaccurate...etc, etc...

2016 - Politico: Study: 91 percent of coverage on evening newscasts was negative to Donald Trump

2017 - MRC: In June, July and August, broadcast evening news coverage of Trump was 91 percent negative — worse than the astounding 89 percent negative spin we calculated during the first three months of the administration.

2017 Continued - MRC: Our latest numbers show that coverage of Trump on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts in September, October and November was more than 90 percent negative...

A pretty consistent negative bias from an industry that has claimed, and still claims they play an "important role"  in a "healthy Republic." That is the role they are supposed to play, but do they really?

In January a CNN panelist, or employee, went on air and stated that when she was going around the country talking to Americans, the same people the media claims to represent, "so far, out in these districts when you talk to people about Russia, and that's all we talk about at CNN basically, they say they don't care, it doesn't have any effect on their lives."

That was an absolutely stunning admission, one that Independent Media highlighted but the mainstream media simply ignored because it clearly spotlighted the fact that the mainstream media was focusing, almost all their time, on an issue no one but the Democratic party cared about, rather than placing their focus on topics the American people want to be informed of.

Remember, it was CNN employees that admitted on hidden camera that the whole Russia story was "bullsh*t," with one calling it a "nothingburger."

The media is of the opinion that they should be the arbiters of what the American people should be concerned about, while completely ignoring the same people they claim to represent, whether at a press briefing, or in an interview, with Mika Brzezinski publicly admitting that the media feels it is their "job" to "control what people think."

SHOULD PRESIDENT TRUMP EVEN BOTHER WITH THE TDS MEDIA?

So the media lies about President Trump are well documented, the fact that they focus on stories the public doesn't care about was revealed on-air at CNN,  and they have provided 89%-91% hostile and negative coverage consistently since he became the GOP presumed nominee, and yet we see CNN pundits like Brian Stelter, just this morning, posting a picture of President Trump sitting down last year with Lester Holt, and  stating "One year ago today: Trump and Holt. Since then, Trump hasn't given any interviews to NBC -- or ABC or CBS or CNN. His aides and lawyers reportedly like it that way..."

Let me be the first to declare that as "fake news," as the president's refusal to sit down with members of the press that have done nothing but bash him and his supporters from day one, has nothing to do with his "aides" and "lawyers," and everything to do with the fact that he simply has no use for the mainstream media.

Is it any wonder that rally attendees are showing up to Trump events with large signs saying "CNN IS VERY FAKE NEWS?"

Here is a newsflash for the media that continue to insist they have the right to attack White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders at the daily WH press briefings. Those briefings are not mandated by any law. While they have become tradition over the past half-century, they never existed before that. Tradition is not law, and the White House, could at any time, simply refuse to hold anymore White House press briefings. The media seem to think they have a "right" to unfettered access, screeching about the "First Amendment, but the constitution says absolutely nothing about the WH having any obligation to put up with "journalists" acting like children.

Liberals continue to claim that the media is all that holds the President accountable, representing the people, but as we have shown, in their own words, they are not representing the people, they are representing the Democratic party, focusing on issues the "media" wants to obsess over, not the issues the American people care about.

Newt Gingrich once said he thought the White House should just shut down the WH press briefings, send the reporters to "Starbucks," and allow the American people to determine what they want to ask the White House or the president.

"They ought to report to the nation on the big goals," he said. "Ignore all of these reporters. Close down the press room. Send the reporters off. They can go to Starbucks across the street. I don't care where they go. These people are not committed to the truth. They're not committed to being neutral. Why would you hang out with a bunch of people who despise you?"

That would create a whole new tradition of reporting directly to the American people instead of through the press, the former speaker said.

"Maybe say to the American people, send in your questions and we'll take the best five questions and answer them by name," said Gingrich. "'Sallie Jones of West Virginia asked us this today.' But get beyond the elite media and treat them as the dishonest opponents, which is what they are, they're dishonest opponents pretending to be reporters."

Gingrich said he has read the transcripts of late President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's first press briefings, and learned FDR had some strict rules.

"They were all off the record," said Gingrich. "You could quote a senior White House source, but never him. Anyone who broke their confidence, if he said it's 'off the record,' it was never again allowed in the press briefing. That's how he started the very first meeting with the press after he became president. There's a pretty good lesson there."

Below: Senator Ted Cruz points to the media obsessions with porn star and stripper Stormy Daniels and says the majority of the media is "out of their minds" with "Trump Derangement Syndrome." (Note- It is not just the media, half the country is suffering from the affliction. One can say "it's raining," and some out there will scream "It's Trump's fault!")

With all the actually news happening, touched on by Senator Cruz above, what did CNN White House correspondent, Jim Acosta, manage to find time to "report" on his Twitter feed? A woman who attended the Trump campaign speech in Indiana has a "Pepe the Frog" doll. HUGE NEWS! He even captured a picture of this huge news!

PepeFrogDoll345.jpg

Yes, a comic frog that was "appropriated" by 4chan members, suddenly was declared a hate symbol, so anyone displaying it is somehow a racist, so it is news..... or something like that. Who really understands how these deranged media personalities think these days?

So, what say you PipeLiners, should the president cancel the WH press briefings and allow every day Americans to submit their questions or even just name what topics they want addressed and whatever the majority is asking about, gets answered each day?

Has the press ever asked YOU what issue you want to see addressed? Do they represent YOU?

Feel free to leave your answers in the comment section.
