As 'The Bulletin' reported in January of 2017, 'the clock' has moved ahead to 2 1/2 minutes before midnight here in 2017, as close to midnight as the 'Doomsday Clock' has been since 1953 according to their 'timeline of doom' which documents changes to the clock over the past 72 years.
This story will take a look back at major changes that have been made over the years to the 'doomsday clock' as well as taking a look at why we're now nearly 'closer to doom' than the world has been at any time since the atomic bomb was created through the words of those who created it. We also have embedded below a new video interview of Dr. Peter Vincent Pry with Fox News radio in St. Louis as well as a new video from Anonymous Official that the Drudge Report linked to Tuesday morning warning the world to prepare for World War 3 as nation after nation across the planet are now doing.
For the last two years, the minute hand of the Doomsday Clock stayed set at three minutes before the hour, the closest it had been to midnight since the early 1980s. In its two most recent annual announcements on the Clock, the Science and Security Board warned: “The probability of global catastrophe is very high, and the actions needed to reduce the risks of disaster must be taken very soon.” In 2017, we find the danger to be even greater, the need for action more urgent. It is two and a half minutes to midnight, the Clock is ticking, global danger looms. Wise public officials should act immediately, guiding humanity away from the brink. If they do not, wise citizens must step forward and lead the way.
Back in 1953, the clock struck 2 minutes before midnight at which time 'The Bulletin' issued this statement:
1953 IT IS 2 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
After much debate, the United States decides to pursue the hydrogen bomb, a weapon far more powerful than any atomic bomb. In October 1952, the United States tests its first thermonuclear device, obliterating a Pacific Ocean islet in the process; nine months later, the Soviets test an H-bomb of their own. “The hands of the Clock of Doom have moved again,” the Bulletin announces. “Only a few more swings of the pendulum, and, from Moscow to Chicago, atomic explosions will strike midnight for Western civilization.”
While the 'cold war' eventually came to an end and with that end, the clock moved all the way back to 17 minutes to midnight in 1991, by 2002 after the 9/11 attacks the clock was moved ahead to 7 minutes before midnight. Five years later in 2007 it was bumped ahead to 5 minutes before midnight with this warning that ties into what we're witnessing today.:
2007 IT IS 5 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
The world stands at the brink of a second nuclear age. The United States and Russia remain ready to stage a nuclear attack within minutes, North Korea conducts a nuclear test, and many in the international community worry that Iran plans to acquire the Bomb.
While 2010 saw the clock set back a minute to 6 minutes to midnight due to 'talks between Washington and Moscow' and 'international cooperation ruling the day', by 2012 it had been moved back to 5 minutes to midnight while by 2015 and 2016 it was bumped up 2 full minutes to 3 minutes before midnight after more war rhetoric picked up and nuclear weapons treaties failed - they didn't mince their words in their warnings then:
2015 IT IS 3 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
...Global nuclear weapons modernizations and outsized nuclear weapons arsenals pose extraordinary and undeniable threats to the continued existence of humanity, and world leaders have failed to act with the speed or on the scale required to protect citizens from potential catastrophe. These failures of political leadership endanger every person on Earth.”
Meanwhile, the United States and Russia have embarked on massive programs to modernize their nuclear triads—thereby undermining existing nuclear weapons treaties.
“The clock ticks now at just three minutes to midnight because international leaders are failing to perform their most important duty— ensuring and preserving the health and vitality of human civilization.”
2016 IT IS STILL 3 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
“Last year, the Science and Security Board moved the Doomsday Clock forward to three minutes to midnight, noting: ‘The probability of global catastrophe is very high, and the actions needed to reduce the risks of disaster must be taken very soon.’
That probability has not been reduced.
The Clock ticks. Global danger looms. Wise leaders should act—immediately.”
As we arrive at 2017 at a time when NKorea's Kim Jong Un issues nearly daily threats to 'nuke America' while relations between Russia and NATO/US hit their lowest levels in many years, it's easy to understand why 'The Bulletin' has moved the clock ahead 30 seconds. And as we hear in Anonymous' warnings to the world in the 2nd video below, witnessing nation after nation preparing for war should be a loud warning call to us all. If World War 3 breaks out, does anyone really expect the government to 'save us'?
And as we hear from Dr. Peter Vincent Pry in a brand new interview with Fox radio in the 1st video below, if the EMP Commission's warnings about NKorea's satellite's are correct, all Kim Jong Un needs is one successful attack upon America via EMP to send a huge part of the country back to the 'dark ages'.
While the msm and many politicians still try to downplay the NKorean EMP threat, Dr. Pry tells us why that could quickly become the biggest mistake in the history of this country with an EMP possibly 'culling the herd' in a huge way, likely killing off 9 out of 10 Americans by starvation and the collapse of the 'electronic society' we now live in.
As J.D. Heyes over at Natural News recently reported, an EMP attack upon America would quickly bring about a worst case scenario that the huge majority of Americans, attached to their cell phones, aren't the least bit prepared for.
As for the what would happen to American society if the U.S power grid suffered major widespread damage, one need only to look at “disasters” on a much, much smaller scale to determine that outcome. What happens in major cities following flooding (New Orleans, 2005) or jury verdicts (Baltimore, Ferguson, Mo., Rodney King) is a microcosm of what would occur in U.S. cities big and small all around the country if our power grid was largely destroyed. Only a Left-wing kook would dismiss that reality.
Yet dismiss that possible reality many do, forever sealing their own doom should that worst case scenario come to pass.
As this new story from the NY Post reports, the 'hacker collective' Anonymous is now warning the world to prepare for World War 3 as North Korea and the US move their chess pieces into position. Claiming that “all the signs of a looming war on the Korean peninsula are surfacing,” they also issue this chilling prediction: "Unlike past world wars, although there will be ground troops, the battle is likely to be fierce, brutal and quick. It will also be globally devastating, both on environmental and economical levels.”
And as Steve Quayle warned in an SQnote he left while linking to this Breitbart story which had a recent viral interview with Dr. Pry, "while everyone is watching for missile launches, I suggest 'pre-positioned agents' and shipping containers with EMP generating weapons are the threat". As we reported on ANP back on April 28th, according to a 2004 Defense Intelligence Agency declassified report, back in the 1990's the North Korean Ministry of People’s Armed Forces 'established five liaison offices to train and infiltrate operatives into the United States to attack nuclear power plants and terrorize major cities in case of hostilities.'
North Korea sent special forces teams to the US in the 1990s to target nuclear power stations and conduct terror attacks on major cities in the event of war, a declassified intelligence report has revealed.
The rogue state successfully infiltrated five units of highly-trained commandos onto U.S. soil ready to strike at key installations, according to a Defense Intelligence Agency report dated September 13, 2004.
The report states that the North Korean Ministry of People’s Armed Forces 'established five liaison offices in the early 1990s, to train and infiltrate operatives into the United States to attack nuclear power plants and major cities in case of hostilities.'
They 'had agents in place to attack American nuclear power plants', it continues, 'in the event of hostilities between the United States and DPRK'.
North Korea has one of the largest number of Special Forces in the world with more than 60,000 commandos under control of the shadowy Reconnaissance Bureau, part of the country’s Armed Forces.
The Bureau is known to have been behind a string of terror attacks over the years including airline bombing, kidnaps and assassinations.
Since we have proof they had pre-positioned agents here in America ready to attack nuclear power plants and terrorize cities 20+ years ago, is there any reason for us to think that they still don't have them here now?
With Anonymous' recent warnings echoing those being given by the creator's of the atomic bomb, we pray that our leaders are treading with Our Father's Wisdom and Grace as we move through what many believe to be one of the most dangerous period's of time in human history. And as 'The Bulletin' prophetically warns, if wise public officials aren't guiding humanity away from the brink, wise citizens must step forward and lead the way.
