The Rise Of Transgender Mass Killers Is A Direct Result Of Normalizing Mental Illness And Deliberately Causing Gender Confusion In Children

In February 2026, two separate mass shootings made the headlines, both of which were perpetrated by gunmen that were born male, but that pretended to be female, dubbed "transgender."

First: 18 year old Jesse Van Rootselaar carried out a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia on February 10, 2026, reported on at the time by the New York Post.

Van Rootselaar, 18, murdered his mother, Jennifer Strang, and his 11-year-old stepbrother at their home on Tuesday afternoon before making his way to Tumbler Ridge Secondary School where he gunned down a female teacher and five students between the ages of 12-13, most of them in the library.

Cops said he took his own life at the scene.

Second: 56-year-old father Robert Dorgan, who liked to dress as a woman and called himself Roberta Esposito, shot four family members and a family friend before he turned the gun on himself following the deadly rampage at a Pawtucket, Rhode Island ice rink, on Monday, February 16, 2026 . He killed two people and critically injured three others.

MENTAL ILLNESS SHOULD NOT BE NORMALIZED

In the case of Robert Dogan, shown in the image above obtained by Daily Mail, they report that "A motive remained unclear Tuesday morning, but court documents obtained by WPRI show Dorgan had sparred with family members over gender identity issues."

In the case of Jesse Van Rootselaar, according to authorities it's "too early to say," whether there was any connection between his trans identity and the shooting.

No, it is not too early to say, and the "motive"  of both shooters is not the underlying issue.

Mental health is the issue. The past decade-plus of the media, and politicians, as well as parents of gender confused minors attempting to normalize the idea that males can magically become females and vice versa, should be the topic of discussion, as we are seeing more and more so-called "transgender" shooters.

Previous examples include:

Minneapolis, Minnesota, Robert "Robin" Westman, 2025 

In August, two children, ages eight and 10, were killed and dozens of other people, many of whom were children, were injured after Westman opened fire outside the Annunciation Catholic Church and school. Students had been inside the church for the first mass of the year.

As a minor, Westman changed his name from Robert to Robin, with the form stating that Westman "identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification." In his manifesto, Westman expressed regret: "I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself."

Nashville, Tennessee, Audrey "Aiden" Hale, 2023

In March 2023, Audrey "Aiden" Hale entered the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, killing three young students and three staff members before police shot Hale dead. Pages of writings released in the wake of the shooting detailed Hale discussing her "imaginary penis" and needing to see a "trans doctor." She wrote, "This female gender role makes me want to not exist." Another entry stated, "My penis exists in my head. I swear to god I'm male." Yet another section stated, "I finally found the answer—that changing one's gender is possible." (Source)

Colorado Springs, Colorado, Anderson Lee Aldrich, 2022

On November 19, 2022, five people were killed and 40 others injured after Anderson Lee Aldrich opened fire in Club Q, a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub. He was sentenced to life in prison in June 2023. Aldrich identifies as nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. Aldrich was stopped by patrons at the nightclub.

Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Alec McKinney, 2019

A Colorado transgender teenager who admitted to taking part in a shooting at a Denver-area charter school last year that left one student dead and eight others wounded was sentenced on Friday to life in prison plus an additional 38 years.

Aberdeen, Maryland, Scnochia Moseley, 2018

On September 20, 2018, 26-year-old Snochia Moseley fatally shot three people and injured three others at a Rite Aid warehouse in Aberdeen, Maryland. Friends told the Baltimore Sun at the time that messages sent by Moseley in December 2016 showed the temporary worker identifying as a transgender man and discussing beginning hormone treatment.

These people did not need "gender affirming care," they needed a good psychiatrist. By normalizing their mental illnesses, they became mass murderers.

Now, saying that, and offering that opinion, would be called ""transphobic," because by tossing around that label, those that have spent years attempting to normalize this mental health illness instead of calling it what it is, are trying to silence the real discussion that is needed.

MEDICAL ASSOCIATIONS WALKING BACK THEIR SUPPORT

In early February 2026, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, which is the nation's largest professional organization for plastic surgeons according to the Associated Press, offered new recommendations. Specifically that "gender-affirming surgeries," should not be performed on minors.

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons said Tuesday that it found “insufficient evidence” that the benefits of chest, genital and facial surgeries on minors experiencing gender dysphoria outweigh the risks. It leaned on two recent and heavily debated publications on the topic, the Cass Review by a senior doctor in England and a 2025 report issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Within days, the American Medical Association (AMA) put out their own statement, which said "“In the absence of clear evidence, the AMA agrees with ASPS that surgical interventions in minors should be generally deferred to adulthood."

One specific portion of the statement from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), supports the points that many have made when arguing against medical or surgical intervention for gender confused minors, stating "Available evidence suggests that a substantial proportion of children with prepubertal onset gender dysphoria experience resolution or significant reduction of distress by the time they reach adulthood, absent medical or surgical intervention."

As my younger sisters used to say "DUH."

The majority of children outgrow it. As long as they aren't being pushed by their parents and the "woke" crowd, including liberal politicians and the MSM, and encouraged to take puberty blockers which stunts their normal growth process or worse yet, to be convinced they need surgery so they can become a different gender.

The fact is, no amount of drugs, surgical procedures, or puberty blockers can change a person's chromosomes or DNA. Males are XY and females are XX, and that will never change.

Whether other medical associations will show the common sense that the ASPS and the AMA are finally showing, might have something to do with the $2 million judgement against New York doctors that was reported on at the end of January 2026.

A 22-year-old woman who identified as a boy in her teen years won a $2 million decision in a landmark lawsuit against New York doctors accused of pushing a double mastectomy on her when she was a minor.

Fox Varian had the life-altering surgery when she was just 16-years-old — getting approval from a psychologist and a surgeon — both of whom a jury found liable of medical malpractice on Jan. 30, The Epoch Times reported.

Varian, now 22 and considered a “detransitioner,” was awarded $1.6 million for past and future pain and suffering, and an additional $400,000 for future medical expenses — in the first detransitioner malpractice lawsuit in the nation to go to trial and win.

Start holding those responsible for normalizing this mental health issue and those and encouraging the mutilation of minors, accountable, and that will make those harming the children wary of doing so again in the future.

BOTTOM LINE - TOO LITTLE TOO LATE......

The problem that faces "woke" societies that pushed for blocking the puberty of, or surgically mutilating, minors, is we now have a generation of gender confused children and adults, and the dangers that come with normalizing the mental illness that is "transgenderism."

That now includes the rise of "transgender" mass killers.
