Social Security, 80th Anniversary Of Winning WWII, 260th Anniversary Of Sons Of Liberty, S423 And S201 Signed Into Law, Patriot Abraham Clark, And More
On August 14, 1935 the Social Security Act of 1935 was signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Original Act was divided into 11 Titles; it has now increased to 22 Titles:
I'm not sure I want to "celebrate" 90 years of Social Security. Look at all the "grants" given using the money that American workers paid into this "retirement" system that have nothing to do with retirement! No wonder American workers who rely solely on Social Security for their retirement income are living below the poverty level and used to qualify for food stamps (but some do still qualify for much less in food stamps now with the recent changes made by the OBBB)! Congress has turned the Social Security Retirement Fund into a Slush Fund to fund their pet projects. I think this needs to be looked at very closely! Where is DOGE? Oh, that's right, they are being sued in leftist courts in leftist states.
. . . those who gave their careers to building our Nation will always have the support, stability, and relief they deserve . . .
President Trump does say that his Administration is
. . . aggressively rooting out all fraud, waste, and abuse that rob our Federal programs of resources - including stopping payments to the deceased and eliminating benefits who do not legally qualify . . .
President Trump also ordered workers back to the office which reduced wait times for benefits recipients and applicants. He is totally focused on removing illegal aliens from ALL government programs, including Social Security. President Trump goes on to say
On this 90th anniversary of the Social Security Act, we recognize the countless contributions of every American senior who has invested their time, talent, and resources into our Nation’s future. On this momentous milestone, we recommit to strengthening our retirement system, protecting programs like Social Security and Medicare against fraud and abuse, and ensuring that every future generation of American citizens has the income security they need and earned.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim August 14, 2025, as the 90th Anniversary of the Social Security Act.
The article goes on to state that calls have been reduced from 30 minutes to 6 minutes (personally, at the two different offices I called no one picked up the phone and the system cut me off after 6 minutes while the automated message said to use the website instead of calling for the 6 minutes it allowed me to stay on the line). It says the average wait time has declined (it took 2 visits because there was no parking available the first day with at least 30 vehicles roaming the parking lot waiting for someone to leave; when we finally saw someone, they input the information incorrectly so we had to return the next month and I even verified the information with the 2nd clerk we saw).
The article says the offices are fully staffed (but I saw about 1/2 of the service windows were still shuttered). The article touts that people have 24/7 online access with zero downtime (but if your loved one cannot even operate a cell phone this availability means nothing). It appears they have had a 26% reduction in the backlog of initial claims and it takes 60 fewer days to have a disability hearing. Oh, and Social Security has implemented a new payroll exchange program so they can receive your working contributions faster.
Like VA claims, I wonder how many are denials or orders for more information to have that much of an increase in processing of claims. I am sure denied claims are counted as "processed" as are replies asking for additional documentation.
On August 14, 2025, President Trump held a press conference celebrating the Social Security Act (video below). He was joined by the current Social Security Administrator, Frank Bisignano. Following the announcements, he took questions from the press.
On August 14, 1945, Emperor Hirohito announced the surrender to the Japanese nation. Although there was a last-minute coup attempt to stop the announcement, the Emperor was able to make the announcement and Japan agreed to surrender unconditionally. But it was not until September 2, 1945 that they actually signed the surrender document aboard the USS Missouri which was docked in Tokyo Bay.
On August 14, 2025, President Trump issued a Message on the 80th Anniversary of Winning World War II stating that WW2 was won with the unmatched courage, grit, and sacrifice of the fearless patriots of the US Armed Forces. He acknowledges that over 100,000 Americans died in the Pacific Theatre. He asks us to reflect on the sacrifices and bravery of the Troops who fought in this arena. He states:
. . . peace is never promised, but is earned through sacrifice, defended with strength, and kept alive by those willing to risk their lives for the survival of our freedom and our beloved way of life. Guided by this vision,, my Administration remains steadfastly committed to upholding a foreign policy of peace through strength to ensure that our citizens are always put first, our sovereignty is always defended, and our Nation remains the greatest country on earth.
The Sons of Liberty was a secretive paramilitary organization. It was established under British Rule in colonial America. Exactly when they were founded is unclear but the earliest known record of the organization was 1765. It is thought that the Boston and New York chapters were formed about the same time and in contact with one another. Meetings were held under the Liberty Tree in Boston and the Liberty Pole in New York. Taverns, of course, were a favorite meeting place as well. Samuel Adams (he's on my list of upcoming Patriots) has been credited with the founding of the Sons of Liberty. The motto of the organization was "No taxation without representation" leading scholars to believe the organization coalesced from other groups (like the Boston Caucus Club and the Loyal Nine). The name was derived from a debate held about the Stamp Act where stamp act supporter Charles Townshend called the colonists "these Sons of Liberty." Like today's deplorables, the members of the organization took the name as their own and carried on proudly. Their final act was orchestrating the Boston Tea Party, led by Samuel Adams, on December 16, 1773.
On August 14, 2025, President Trump signed two more single-issue Senate bills into law: S 423 and S201 both affecting the VA.
1. S201, ACES Act of 2025 orders the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to enter into an agreement within 60 days with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to conduct a study on the prevalence and mortality of cancers in covered individuals (those who served on active duty in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps as an aircrew member of a fixed-wing aircraft, including as a pilot, navigator, weapons systems operator, aircraft system operator, or any other crew member who regularly flew in a fixed-wing aircraft). Within 60 days after negotiating the agreement, the Secretary will submit a report, continuing to update every 60 days until the study is concluded. They will study the following cancers:
(A) brain cancer;
(B) colon and rectal cancers;
(C) kidney cancer;
(D) lung cancer;
(E) melanoma skin cancer;
(F) non-Hodgkin lymphoma;
(G) pancreatic cancer;
(H) prostate cancer;
(I) testicular cancer;
(J) thyroid cancer;
(K) urinary bladder cancer; and
(L) other cancers as determined appropriate by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, in consultation with the National Academies
The goal of the research is to determine prevalence and mortality of the above cancers in the covered population.
2. S 423, Protecting Regular Order for Veterans Act of 2025 (short version PRO Veterans Act of 2025) ordering the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to submit quarterly briefings, in person, on the Department of Veterans Affairs budget, especially noting any shortfalls the Department may be experiencing. These reports can be combined with other congressionally mandated reports due to the assigned committee.
The Act establishes the office of Improving Veterans' Experience Act of 2025. This office is responsible for collecting veteran-and-beneficiary-derived data about their satisfaction with VA services to be used to drive Veteran-Centered policy making. (Good luck with that, the Vets I know either don't respond to the surveys or say everything is fine.) Of course, they will collect more data than just the survey, and this Act creates a new office so more people will need to be hired that are not providing services to veterans and their beneficiaries. Supposedly they will honor the Privacy Act of 1974, Title 5, section 552a. After 540 days, the Comptroller General of the US shall complete an analysis of the study. Nowhere in this bill does it provide funding for the new office or the staff to go in it.
Another 2 single-issue bills were passed by Congress; but, not the ones the American People want to see created and passed to codify President Trump's EOs into Law, like English as our National Language, ending birth-right citizenship for offspring of people who are citizens of other countries, and election security.

Freedom must be earned without privilege, and defended without compromise. I was not just a poor man's counselor, I was every man's counselor.
Due to his father's recognition of Abraham's math abilities, a tutor was hired to teach Abraham surveying. While working as a surveyor, Abraham taught himself law and opened a law practice. He became known as "the poor man's councilor" because he defended people who could not pay, usually families embroiled in title disputes. His payment was sometimes in produce or merchandise.
From 1774-1776 he became a member of the New Jersey Council of Safety. In 1776 he was elected to the Provincial Assembly. He was selected in June 1776, along with 4 other men, to represent New Jersey at the 2nd Continental Congress. Abraham remained at Congress throughout the entire War for Independence.
In 1783, at the end of the war, Abraham returned to New Jersey where he spent 3 years in the State legislature. He opposed the US Constitution until it contained the Bill of Rights, then he signed it.
He wrote under a pen name: A Fellow Citizen. His written works includeThe True Policy of New-Jersey, Defined; or, Our Great Strength led to Exertion, in the Improvement of Agriculture and Manufactures, by Altering the Mode of Taxation, and by the Emission of Money on Loan, in IX Sections in February 1786
Abraham got sunstroke on September 15, 1794 while observing a bridge being built on his property dying a few hours later at age 68. He was interred in the Presbyterian Cemetery near Rahway, New Jersey.
Those are some of the exact words used by Google’s censors, aka 'Orwellian content police,' in describing many of our controversial stories. Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
