As we watch the continued reports of Ransomware cyber attacks hit over 1,000 different businesses, damaging everything from key businesses, Internet services, and public infrastructure, the Biden regime and D.C. politicians are so busy worry about blaming Russia or looking at who to blame, to bother warning Americans of what could be coming soon.
They are not bothering to warn Americans for the possibility, or at this point with no end of these attacks in sight, the probability, that one of the next attacks will be the 'Mother Of All Bombs' against the functionality of America.
Recently Stefan Stanford covered what is called "supply chain attacks," which will interrupt the food supply in America, as ANP has also addressed the need to be prepared for a massive attack on the electrical grid, but what usually gets shoved to the back burner is the ability to communicate with others.
The Kaseya cyberattack disrupted more than 1,000 businesses over the Fourth of July weekend and may turn out to be one of the biggest hacks in history. It’s also a textbook example of a “supply chain” hack: a type of cyberattack where criminals target software vendors or IT services companies in order to infect their clients.
Supply chain attacks are a looming cyber threat with the potential to greatly magnify the damage of a single security breach. They’ve been responsible for some of the biggest cyberattacks of the past year, including the Kaseya breach and the SolarWinds attack.
As cybercriminals continue to shut down major companies and key pieces of public infrastructure seeking ransoms, supply chain hacks promise to spread the pain of digital disruptions by extracting collective ransoms from small- and medium-sized businesses that otherwise wouldn’t appear to be promising extortion targets.
In other words, it isn't just large corporations or companies being targeted, but everyday Joes like you and me are the ultimate targets.
(Stefan linked to prepping foods, freeze dried and even items for your animals, as we see spiking food prices and emptier than usual shelves, along with severe shrinkflation, so we won't bother with those items in this piece, just click on over to find those links.)

With donations and ad revenue all that keep ANP online, if you're able, please consider donating to ANP to help keep us in this fight for America's future at this critical time in US history. During a time of systematic, 'big tech' censorship and widespread Democrat corruption, truth-seeking media and alternative views are crucial, and EVERY little bit helps more than you could know!)
IMAGINE BEING CUT OFF FROM EVERYBODY
Communications on the other hand is something we see spoken of, but not nearly as often, nor with the same urgency, as other areas of prepping and survival.
This is understandable, food and water must come first, but what often isn't addressed is that communications with people outside your home or in your immediate vicinity, can also help obtaining food, water and medications, especially if you have already stock up on bartering items.
Whether family members, friends, or even neighbors, if picking up a phone to call someone isn't an option anymore, then part of prepping must include the ability to communicate with others.
Walkie talkies for closer contacts, ham radios to help keep Americans informed of what is happening across the country, shortwave radios to be able to listen to updates on situations or important events, books to know how to use the devices.
One thing to remember is power is vital to communications, whether it is to recharge batteries for Walkie Talkies, or to expand the range of your communication abilities via Ham radios.
One of the first things I always fall to is books, because owning an item means nothing if one doesn't understand how to use it.
Ham radios for example, there are so many books on how to get licensed (although honestly if the MOAB of cyber attacks hit, I doubt law enforcement will be enforcing the license requirements), and how to operate the device itself.
Communicating with family, whether in the same town or in another state, won't be possible if critical infrastructure is shut down especially the Internet and phone systems, as well as cell towers.
Satellite communication systems may be the answer to allowing at least some contact with those you care about.
I'll be honest, I do not know enough about satellite phones, (even after researching, it is Greek to me!) to recommend any specific device, so here is the satellite phone. communications search page for those more knowledgeable.
HITTING THE POWER GRID WOULD BE THE MOAB OF ATTACKS
We have reported, as have others, about the likelihood of an EMP attack against America by hostile countries, but the U.S. power grid is even more susceptible to cyber attacks because they require no bombs, explosions or outside atmospheric events, just some brainiac or a group of them on computers can quite literally put us in the dark for an indefinite amount of time.
We continue to hear the alerts about "Ransomware" and those attacks are indeed devastating, as computers lock their owners out, until a "ransom" is pad before being allowed back in, but the importance of how easily our systems can simply be shut down, should be a red flag to everything.
How soon before the money is not the issue and the endgame goal becomes sending our entire nation into the dark ages?
These are questions that absolutely must be asked, and that we the people, should be preparing for now, because once they shut us down, it will be too late to make preparations to survive, and it won't matter one iota "who" did it, because the race for survival will be far more important.
With the increasing frequency of the recent cyber attacks, knocking out hundreds and hundreds of businesses, some companies being big enough to have top of the line security that ended up being useless, it is imperative that we all prepare for the day when we, or our families and us, are alone, cut off from society, and needing to know what is going on, around us, and throughout the nation.
In all my years of writing, including cyber attacks and hacks, I have never seen the amount of reported attacks in such a short period as we have in 2021.
Readers are encouraged to share links, videos, resources with each other in the comment section to help each other be as prepared as possible for when the MOAB of cyber attacks hits the U.S.
If you are as prepared for as much as you can be, there is no need for fear. Just a matter of sitting back, topping off supplies, growing your foods and waiting for that one attack that we cannot immediately bounce back from.
As heard below, the U.S. Energy Secretary has admitted there are groups already capable of shutting down the U.S power grid.
