Media Ignores Attack On Federal Building During A Riot On March 11, 2021, While Still Whining About DC Protest On Jan, 6 - Compare The Protesters In These Images

- Who Exactly Are The Real Insurrectionists?

As we are still hearing the unbearably whiny rhetoric from congressional Democrats and their sycophants in the media, over the single January 6, 2021 event in Washington DC to protest the ignoring of election irregularities in the 2020 presidential election and as electoral votes were being counted, we note the attention that one, individual protest garnered compared to news of hundreds of riots in Portland Oregon.

Despite the hype and "fake news" reporters calling the protests on January 6, in DC, an "armed insurrection," which we later heard in congressional testimony included no weapons confiscated during arrests, we note the latest attack on a federal building, to which the media continues to yawn and ignore.

Sanborn’s admission undermines the idea, promoted in the leftist media, that the riot was an “armed insurrection,” which obviously implies that multiple rioters carried guns and were prepared to use them on elected officials, who were inside the building preparing to validate President Joe Biden’s dubious victory.

“How many firearms were confiscated in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds during that day?”  he asked.

Replied Sanborn:

To my knowledge, we have not recovered any on that day from any other arrests at the scene at this point.

Sanborn said she could not speak for other law-enforcement agencies, and admitted that the only shots fired that day came from the Capitol Hill cop who shot down Air Force veteran and Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt..

So much for an armed resurrection, unless you could other items as being "armed, which would also mean that any and all of the past few hundred Antifa and BLM protests were "armed insurrections."

Pick one. They cannot have their cake and eat it as well. Either armed means armed with firearms, or it doesn't.

Some other things we did not see during the January 6 protests: Burning buildings and vehicles, looting nearby businesses, throwing projectiles at police which include balloons filled with urine and feces... need I go on?

The point here is the Jan. 6 protests has been treated like Americans were trying to overthrow the entire U.S. government, yet the hundreds of riots and cities burning were treated as businesses were leveled and destroyed by vandals, including those earlier in the Trump presidency which literally declared they intended to force the president and VP out of office (real insurrectionists), are waved away as "nothing to see here, move along," by the MSM.

JAN. 6 ONLY HYPED BECAUSE IT WAS A CONSERVATIVE PROTEST

An in-depth look comparing coverage on and after January 6, 2021) with Democrats still whining about it) of the "unarmed insurrection" in DC with the hundreds of protests and riots in Portland, Oregon, the most recent of which was on the Portland, Oregon courthouse, a federal building.

Via KGW8:

The demonstration began around 8:30 p.m. outside the courthouse on Southwest Third Avenue and Main Street, shortly after the fence surrounding the courthouse was taken down for the first time since last summer.

When the courthouse doors were being boarded up, tensions between people and federal officers there erupted. This started a chain reaction of civil unrest and destruction Thursday night, leading authorities to deploy tear gas.

Shortly after 9 p.m., independent journalists tweeted images of smashed windows, burning flags and walls of the courthouse spray-painted with graffiti. A KGW photographer witnessed federal officers using tear gas and projectiles to control the crowd.

Before offering the short video below, let me note that in searching videos, just using the keywords "Portland riot" we get results from one month ago, three months ago, seven months ago, etc... I actually had to do a date range search just to get the ones for the March 2021 riots in Portland.

“F— the United States!” Antifa try to break into the federal courthouse in Portland. Federal officials just removed the barricades protecting the building after months of #antifa attacks on the building. Now they’re back again. #PortlandRiots - Andy Ngo, independent Journalist, March 11, 2021

Ask yourself, have you heard of this Portland riot, or the one that caused Portland to fence off the federal courthouse?

No? Bet you did hear about the January 6, protest though, right?

Hard to miss with the amount of ink they dedicated to Jan, 6.

How about the March 2, 2021 craziness in Portland? New York Post was one of the few that bothered to cover it:

Amid a two-hour Saturday-night rampage by 150 “protesters” through the Pearl District, fed-up locals shouted at the crowd to give it a rest and “go home.”

This time, the rioters’ target was the Immigration and Customs Enforcement service; fliers read, “No borders! No nations! Abolish deportation.” But not “no vandalism”: They smashed windows of restaurants, banks and grocery stores, destroyed a security car and left anti-ICE graffiti on buildings along the way.

Also on March 11, 2021, over in Minneapolis, protesters have "taken over the blocks-long site, creating a hostile situation for authorities."

“The situation at the memorial, from what I understand, is its kind of volatile,” Kim Griffin, a Minneapolis resident, told the outlet. “People that want to go and support doesn’t feel a sense of inclusion. There is more of a like militant-type atmosphere over there and a sense of fear.”

Griffin said her nephew, Imez Wright, was gunned down within the zone over the weekend — and that activists blocked cops from responding.

“Police were not allowed to get into that area; he was carried out outside of the zone of George Floyd Square,” she said. “It was made clear law enforcement was not welcome to penetrate that zone, which is an atrocity because his life was taken, and I mean who knows whether or not he would have survived had things been different.”

Is that a state "insurrection"? Not sure these days with the double standards in coverage, but seems pretty insurrection-y (yes, I made that word up!) to me.

A search shows a limited amount of "news" about these examples, yet I am still seeing daily references to the DC "insurrection."

I guess to the media and Democrats in congress, regular everyday Americans terrified in their own neighborhoods because of Antifa/BLM groups, are not as important than if our poor congressional snowflakes get scared.

COMPARE THE PROTESTERS IN THESE IMAGES

While the January 6 protest did get a little out of control, and there were broken windows in the Capitol building, again I repeat, there were not fires, looting, vandalizing nearby statues, etc....

Those are not the only differences though.

Look at the protesters themselves.

One groups carries American flags and patriotic gear, while the others carry signs saying "End America."

Conservative MAGA protesters, January 6, 2021:

American flags versus "END AMERICA" signs?

Yet one group is treated like "insurrectionists" while the other is just "protesting," according to the media.

BOTTOM LINE

If the media, collectively, will not cover the riots, the damage, fires, arson, vandalism and looting occurring weekly by Antifa and/or BLM groups, that the Independent Media must and we also must depend on Independent Media readers to spread the word, the truth, in order to bypass the protection that the MSM and Democrats are offering the rioters.
