Bombs That Don't Go Boom Receive Stupid Amount of Media Attention, While Rape, Death & Threats Against Children Of GOP Candidates Are Ignored By The MSM

In the month of October 2018 (as of October 21)  there have been 37 acts of violence, harassment, rape and death threats, Ricin letters, vandalism, assault and more against GOP candidates and conservatives. That is on top of another 170+ similar acts of terror since the beginning of 2018. (See: Rap Sheet: ***613** Acts of Media-Approved Violence and Harassment Against Trump Supporters)

On top of those 37 listed by Breitbart as of October 21, 2018, we now see a GOP House candidate in New Jersey just had his seven children threatened.

Jay Webber, a North Jersey state assemblyman, shared a photo of the letter on Twitter, as well as a photo of a cut-up campaign sign that was apparently delivered with the note.

“What the f— is wrong with you… you scumbag?” the letter reads. “You BETTER hope that you don’t win! Or else. How many kids do you have… 7? Unlucky 7.”

“This is what we think of you. Time to get out of politics!”

This has been an ongoing terror campaign against conservatives, Trump administration officials, the president's children (who received white powdery substance in letters), and Trump supporters, going back to 2015 right after Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign, encouraged by top leaders of the Democratic party, and incited by the consistent "outrage" on the part of the media.

The media for their part, reported some of these attacks, ignored others, and rapidly moved on to their next "outrage" of the day.

Compare the lack of coverage you have seen regarding the ongoing terror campaign against conservatives to the stupid amount of coverage we are seeing about 10 devices, mailed to prominent liberals over the last two days, dubbed "explosive devices," or "pipe bombs" by the media, due to their appearance, yet not one of those devices or "bombs" have gone boom.

Not one has detonated or exploded, and not one person has been harmed physically. These devices never even managed to get near the person they were sent to.

The New York Times reports: (Archive.is link here)

None of the devices harmed anyone, and it was not immediately clear whether any of them could have. One law enforcement official said investigators were examining the possibility that they were hoax devices that were constructed to look like bombs but would not have exploded.

No doubt this is yet another terror campaign, devices mailed or hand delivered with the sole intention of striking fear into either the addressee, or the population at large.

According to the FBI's official statement, the packages are being sent for analysis at the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia.

Now, granted "devices" were sent to former president Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other high profile liberals, and definitely should have been "reported," but the sheer amount of reports, compared to the lack of coverage when the terror is aimed at conservatives, is a huge media fail.

MEDIA & LIBERALS INSTANTLY STARTS CASTING BLAME WITH NO EVIDENCE

We also have the type of reporting, casting blame on conservatives even before any evidence has been analysed. #Magabomber was trending on Twitter immediately after the reports started coming out on Wednesday.

The media spent barely any time reporting on Ricin letters sent to the sitting president, nor did they blame the rhetoric by liberals such as Nancy Pelosi, or Maxine *Mad Max* Waters, or Cory Booker, all calling for harassment and "uprisings all over the country," (Pelosi).

The liberal establishment media laid absolutely no blame on the type of statements heard above, when incited liberals, attacked conservatives, harassed them, sent death and rape threats, Ricin letters, etc..... yet, we now see them pointing fingers, blaming President Trump over these "bombs" that never went boom.

10 of them! That type of incompetence should bring about some very serious questions by the so-called journalists regarding motive, but instead they are too busy speculating before any analytical evidence has been offered by law enforcement.

Some examples: CNN's Jim Acosta tells his Twitter followers "Trump talked about the bombs sent to former public officials at his rally in Wisconsin. But once again he didn’t mention CNN. On top of all that he criticized the “media” for coverage he doesn’t like. And, of course, he took no responsibility for his own rhetoric."

I have been through his timeline, and I did not find any calls for Nancy Pelosi, or Waters, or Booker, to take "responsibility" for their rhetoric after attacks against conservatives.

Make no mistake, Twitter conservatives called Jimmy boy out on his nonsense, including Donald Trump Jr., who responded "Jim, did you or your colleagues take any responsibility for your rhetoric in constantly calling my family Racists and Nazis for 2 years when my wife actually opened an exploding envelope of white powder intended for me? What about when it happend to my brother?"

I can answer that question for Trump Jr., no, Acosta and company has taken no responsibility for their constant false assertions about Trump supporters, for their outright lies or the astounding amount of times they have had to correct, edit, delete and apologize for news that turned out to be fake, but which was always hostile to conservatives or President Trump... even when those false stories led to more harassment and violence against conservatives and/or Trump supporters.

CNN is not alone in tossing out irresponsible "reporting" in regards to these devices that were sent to liberals, as MSNBC speculates "Mail Bomb Suspect Reads Drudge Report & Fox News," as reported by NTK Network. ShareBlue attempts to connect the President to these slew of devices, headlining with "People Trump attacks keep getting bombs — so he blames the free press." NYT follows suit "Bomb Sent to Robert De Niro, Latest in Wave of Explosives Sent to Trump Critics."

Note- It is noteworthy that when these same people attack President Trump, the media calls it criticism, or anger, but if the President highlights them and hits back verbally, they call it an "attack." It is the way the media manipulates public opinion.

The pattern seems to be that it is alright to implicate President Trump because the devices, once again, none of which has exploded, went to liberals, and "Trump critics," with some even saying "Trump foes."

SPECULATION IS RUNNING RAMPANT

It is natural, human nature, to speculate in the absence of proper analysis or forensic evidence, and there is nothing wrong with looking at "possibilities" as long as they are listed as such. The media's job is to report the facts, not their implications, speculation, and/or narrative without any evidence to back it up.

The conservative blogger Just One Minute, highlights a list of "obvious possibilities," in his "Flashback: Mass Murder Mailing of 2005," piece:

- a right-wing nutjob with clear political motivation but a terrible sense of political timing;

- a lefty nutjub hoping to make righties look bad, as a crossover from today's campuses;

- yet another Russian attempt to sow discord and disrupt American politics;

- some other foreign group sowing fear and discord;

- a deranged loner with off-the-wall motivations that make sense to only him (or her).

After detailing his flashback, he then clearly makes a point that the establishment media should learn a lesson from when he states "If there is anything to be learned from this today, it might be that waiting for a fact or two to emerge before leaping to conclusions about the attacker's motivation can be a good idea."

Well said.

Former Federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy takes the media to task in a well-written piece titled "The Pipe-Bombs Story: Another Example of Why No One Trusts the Media." McCarthy is specifying a particularly egregious report at the NYT, but his assertions afterward are succinct and to the point.

At this point, there is no evidence whatsoever that provocative words from the president had anything to do with the sending of bombs. Indeed, there is as yet no known evidence of who is behind these possible attacks. And speaking of “attacks,” why, in light of the context of a possible bombing spree, is the Times asserting that Secretary Clinton, President Obama, and Mr. Soros have “figured prominently in conservative political attacks”? They have not been subjected to “attacks” in the sense conveyed by this report; they have been on the receiving end of mere political criticism, not the subjects of attempted political assassinations.

There is plenty of media commentary at the moment about incivility, in the form of incendiary rhetoric and actions. This is entirely appropriate. But I’m at a loss to understand how the climate is improved by spicing up reports with thinly veiled suggestions that President Trump may have triggered a series of potentially murderous attacks on political opponents. When Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson opened fire on the Republicans he targeted and nearly killed Representative Steve Scalise, I don’t recall much Times speculation about whether he could have been set him off by Democrats urging their supporters to get aggressive — “get in their face”; “if they bring a knife, we bring a gun” — when dealing with political adversaries.

The point here is until the forensic evidence is in, everything being reported, other than the actual facts of the devices and intended recipients, especially those implying "blame," is all speculation, which should be left to comment sections, not establishment media main articles or televised newscasts. That is the height of irresponsibility.

Whether it is an angry right-winger, or a lunatic leftist attempting to get sympathy votes in the midterms, or a lone freak deciding to get some news coverage, none of it matters, it is a cowardly terror campaign, much like the ones that have been leveled against conservatives since 2015 and has increased in severity since.

BOTTOM LINE

Yes the political rhetoric and the outrageous type of "reporting" we have seen over the past couple of years, contributes to the anger and lack of civility in political discourse, but in the end, the people attacking conservatives, the violence against Trump supporters, the person or persons sending out these devices to high profile liberals, are ultimately, solely responsible for their own actions and should be held accountable.

The biased coverage with a stupid amount of ink being dedicated to bombs that don't go boom, in comparison to the under-reported death threats, rape threats, threats against candidates children, and unprecedented harassment of conservatives, should be a clear reminder to all to take everything they report with a grain of salt, and hold the establishment media accountable.... and no, not with threats and attacks, but by turning them off until they get their act together.

The media has already determined their narrative and if the evidence, the forensic analysis, ends up disproving their narrative, they will simply move on to their next outrage of the day.
