While the financial markets around world were rocked and multiple other countries started talking about following Britain's example to leave the European Union (EU), a lesson can be learned from the people of Britain that voted for the "Brexit," in order to take back their independence and their sovereignty so that a globalist group, like the EU, could no longer force decisions that were not benefitting the people of Britain as a sovereign nation.
This was highlighted by NR before the Brexit referendum, with the following quotes from an article published on June 22, 2016:
Indeed, if there is a philosophical center of the Brexit debate here, it is about sovereignty and the fact that membership in the EU means unlimited immigration from 27 other countries. And more and more of Britain’s laws are being made by Brussels. Steve Hilton, a top adviser to Prime Minister Cameron until 2012 and the godfather of one of his children, says that what astonished him most about how the British government really worked "was just how much of what we wanted to do couldn’t be done because of EU edicts and rules."
Supporters of the EU such as the Scottish Conservative party leader Ruth Davidson admit that "it’s not perfect," but they seem determined to see Britain subsumed into a Europe that’s dominated by faceless "Brussels sprout" bureaucrats......
Despite a massive push by the media and globalist world leaders using scare tactics and threats, the "leave" took the vote against "remain" by 52 percent to 48 percent, striking a blow to the NWO and globalists across the globe.
SOVEREIGNTY VERSUS GLOBALISTS' RULE
World leaders have the responsibility and obligation to put the interests of those they are chosen to represent before all else. It is their duty. Globalist, David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2010, pushed hard for Britain to "remain" in the European Union, and lost. He resigned, suggesting a new leader be in place by October.
In the end it came down to the majority wanting their sovereignty back and this is a lesson American should learn from as our own leaders attempt to sacrifice America's sovereignty in the interest of an "international system of rules and norms," via the United Nations.
Anyone that doubts the leadership in America, under Barack Hussein Obama, is doing exactly that, I suggest they carefully read the transcript of Obama's United Nation, New World Order speech published by All News PipeLine in September 2015, where he never referenced America's sovereignty but consistently spoke about a "system of international rules and norms," an "international order," an "integrated world," as well as "international norms and principles and law," and the pièce de résistance of Obama's comments where he says "strong nations, above all, have a responsibility to uphold this international order."

While their are differences between the United Nations and the European Union, they are both globalist constructs that believe "international" rule should supercede any nations "sovereign rule."
From the UN itself in the category of "What is International Law?"
International law defines the legal responsibilities of States in their conduct with each other, and their treatment of individuals within State boundaries. Its domain encompasses a wide range of issues of international concern, such as human rights, disarmament, international crime, refugees, migration, problems of nationality, the treatment of prisoners, the use of force, and the conduct of war, among others. It also regulates the global commons, such as the environment and sustainable development, international waters, outer space, global communications and world trade.
When Obama's gun-grabbing agenda failed after a number of high profile mass shootings, his administration attempted to circumvent the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by signing the "United Nations Arms Treaty," with claims they were attepting to "stop weapons from getting into the hands of criminals and terrorists worldwide," but delving into the specific articles of that treaty shows differently.
The UN Arms Trade Treaty was written in secret by the Obama/Hillary Clinton State Department, along with Russia, China, France and Britain. Not exactly a lineup of champions of liberty. What does it actually say?
Article 2 defines the conventional arms covered, which include battle tanks, artillery systems, combat aircraft, attack helicopters, warships, missiles — and "small arms and light weapons."
Article 3 of the treaty places UN prohibitions on "ammunition/munitions fired, launched or delivered by the conventional arms covered under Article 2."
Article 4 puts all "parts and components" of weapons within the scheme.
Several places in the treaty text, including Article 5, require all countries to "establish and maintain a national control system, including a national control list." Moreover, it declares, "Each State Party is encouraged to apply the provisions of this Treaty to the broadest range of conventional arms."
Article 5, Section 4 says each State Party "shall provide its national control list to the Secretariat, which shall make it available to other States Parties." Which means our federal government will provide the guns and ammo registration list to the UN, which will provide it to Russia, China, Cuba — any and every State Party that wants it.
Not only would that treaty, had Congress allowed its implementation, violated the 2nd Amendment "right to bear arms,"with the references to the "small arms and light weapons," and the ammunition/munitions for those weapons, the national control list would be in direct violation of the "Registry prohibition" of the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986, which states the following:
No such rule or regulation prescribed [by the Attorney General] after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or disposition be established. Nothing in this section expands or restricts the Secretary's authority to inquire into the disposition of any firearm in the course of a criminal investigation.
At the time Congressmen Jason Smith of Missouri addressed this issue, along with a bipartisan group of 180 other members of the House of Representatives, where he states "The treaty clearly violates the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution."
These are the types of antics the globalists use these international groups, such as the European Union and United Nations for... to bypass the sovereignty of individual nations in the name of "international rules and norms" as Obama so blatantly stated in September 2015.
THE BREXIT LESSON
The lesson everyone can learn from the successful Brexit referendum is that nations around the globe can take their sovereignty back and those that belong to globalists constructs such as the European Union and the United Nations, can exit.
In 2014 former U.S. Representative Mike Rogers introduced a bill titled "American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2015," which would have repealed "The United Nations Act of 1945," and would have terminated U.S. participation, and booted the UN headquarters out of America, among a variety of other measures listed in the "American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2015."
If polling from 2003 to present day is any indication, then Americans may be receptive to the idea. The United Nations, according to Gallup polling we see that the UN has not received higher than a 38 perecent "good job" rating since March of 2003 and has been rated over 50 percent in the "poor job" category since the same March 2003 polling.
The globalists took a massive hit this past week with the Brexit vote as we also see talk of a "Brexit domino effect," where warnings are being issued that at least five other countries may follow suit in pulling out of the European Union.
The global elite are down, but not out, and they will not stay down without an ugly fight.
BOTTOM LINE
Perhaps now is the time for America to take heed of the Brexit lesson and exit our own globalist construct... leave the United Nation and boot them out of America, restore our sovereignty as Britain did theirs.
