As yet another conservative Independent media pundit gets suspended from Facebook for speaking the truth, we also note a number of other censorship issues being reported on by MRC's Censorship Project at Newbusters, along with the very disturbing news that Twitter delays the banning of open pedophiles from their platform and Google and Facebook fed advertising dollars to child porn discovery applications as reported by TechCrunch.
We'll start with Mark Dice, Independent pundit that publishes video content, who just announced that he had been suspended from Facebook for seven days, because of "hate" speech after he posted the statement "Black men murder children every day in the ghettos of America. The only reason the story about the dead seven year old girl went viral is because people thought the killer was white. He wasn't. Sad story from every angle."
Dice explains more in his video about his suspension, while pointing out that we can look forward to much more aggressive censorship by big tech and social media in 2019.
In another example of silencing opinions liberals do not agree with, highlighted by the Censorship Project, it appears that a video game project is in jeopardy because some social justice warrior, liberal activists, found tweets from the games creator that criticized radical feminism back in 2014.
This video game project The Last Night stole the show when its promo was revealed at video game industry conference E3 2017. The entire project is now in jeopardy after co-creator Tim Soret’s 2014 tweets against radical feminism were discovered and Liberal investors withdrew their support.
The tweets in question were nothing controversial, with statements like “I’m against feminism. . . I am for egalitarianism. I don’t care, boy, girl, alien,” or that he does not “buy the patriarchy stuff. Maybe it applies in the USA, but I live in Paris.” He also described his game’s world as one which can “show the danger of extreme progressivism” in a “cyberpunk world where modern feminism won instead of egalitarianism.”
Moving along to Twitter, Infowars has an outstanding and lengthy piece detailing active pedophiles on Twitter, the same platform that blocks, bans, suspends and terminates conservatives on a daily basis. Screen shots reveal several accounts that apparently believe if a child "enjoys" it, then sexual acts with children are ok.
Google has scrambled to remove third-party apps that led users to child porn sharing groups on WhatsApp in the wake of TechCrunch’s report about the problem last week. We contacted Google with the name of one of these apps and evidence that it and others offered links to WhatsApp groups for sharing child exploitation imagery. Following publication of our article, Google removed from the Google Play store that app and at least five like it. Several of these apps had more than 100,000 downloads, and they’re still functional on devices that already downloaded them.
Evidently big tech and social media giants find conservative thought to be far more offensive than pedophiles and child porn. The speed to which they will ban a conservative for being honest and presenting facts that the liberals running their platforms do not want revealed, compared to the slowness and lack of action against pedophiles, provides plenty of evidence to support that assertion.
ANP UNDER ATTACK
I would be remiss not to acknowledge the issues ANP has been dealing with of late. As many have noticed, the site saw some downtime these past couple of days, after suffering some massive DDoS attacks.
A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt normal traffic of a targeted server, service or network by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic. DDoS attacks achieve effectiveness by utilizing multiple compromised computer systems as sources of attack traffic. Exploited machines can include computers and other networked resources such as IoT devices. From a high level, a DDoS attack is like a traffic jam clogging up with highway, preventing regular traffic from arriving at its desired destination.
In upping the security for the site, server techs worked hard to get us back up and running, and had to make multiple tweaks to the fixes they implemented in order to get the site running normally again.
Needless to say, between the new spammer "bots" in the comment section, the DDoS attacks, the continued demonetization by YouTube, and the strangling of our advertising revenue by Google, 2018 and the start of 2019, has been a bit trying.
We thank everyone for their patience and incredible support while we were dealing with this.
BOTTOM LINE: CENSORSHIP WILL GET WORSE IN 2019
As Mark Dice pointed out in the video above, we can fully expect the censoring of conservatives across a variety of platforms, to get worse in 2019, as they prepare to silence as many Independent media conservatives as possible leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
Between banning conservatives, then later apologizing for the "error," as was the case with Facebook's ban against Evangelist Franklin Graham, or Twitter locking a NewsBusters staffer out of their account for nothing more than mocking CNN's Don Lemon for being drunk, before restoring his account and apologizing for "any inconvenience this may have caused," and shadow banning conservatives (hiding their content from other users), and strangling revenue generation, big tech is doing everything in their power to silence opinions that don't match the "official" establishment media narrative.
Independent Media readers can help. Share with friends and family, email articles from IM sources to contacts. If a user utilizes any type of social media, share there as well.
As we kick off 2019, ANP would like to offer a huge thanks to our readers and donors. Without you, ANP would not be here.

ANP NEEDS YOUR HELP. With digital media revenue spiraling downward, especially hitting those in Independent Media, it has become apparent that traditional advertising simply isn't going to fully cover the costs and expenses for many smaller independent websites.
