One of the most common Googled questions about feminists is "Why are feminists so angry?" According to feminists, the answer to that ranges from denial, "We're not always angry, we are just tired of being oppressed," to justification for the anger saying it is "a legitimate response to the oppression we’ve been subjected to for millennia."
As a woman that believes in equality, just as I believe there are very real differences between men and women, which I celebrate, I call BS on both those answers.
The first and second wave of feminism did address real oppression, and laws were changed and women obtained true equality, but the feminist movement, rather than celebrating those milestones, moved into another phase, where modern feminist display hatred, intolerance an disdain for men, calling masculinity "toxic."
Modern day feminists still believe they are "oppressed" while at the same time, attempt to "oppress" their male counterparts.
Their victimhood mentality of thinking they were automatically being oppressed because they were born with a vagina aside, we also note that modern day feminists spend all their time just looking for something to be angry about, are perpetually outraged and end up generally miserable all the time, while trying to make everyone around them just as miserable.
Her complaint came by way of a four-part series of Tweets which began with "Am I extremely tired or is there not a single female speaking character in the first episode of #Mandelorian?? I've gotta have missed something right???"
She continued with tweet 2) "I guess Jon Favreau was like "well if we just make all the vehicles female like the ship and the Blurrg then we're good right? That's just the right amount of 'female'"."
Tweet 3) "It feels especially jarring given how much the recent films have done to amplify women and women of colour who have been historically marginalized in the franchise."
Tweet 4) "I still feel like I just forgot an entire scene and that in this year of our Lord 2019 an epic blockbuster television show could not be released without any female speaking parts."
After being reminded that there was a female character in that first show, pretty much making her whole whining little rant moot, she then stated "Shout out to @jaydedaustin for reminding me of the one scene that had a female character. Lol. Sigh. STILL."
Had this just been one loudmouthed feminist looking for something to complain about, this wouldn't even be a story, but many more feminists decided to jump on that same bandwagon, showing Sarkeesian is not an outlier, but rather this is the mentality of feminists today.

MANUFACTURE OUTRAGE THEN CLAIM VICTIMHOOD WHEN OTHERS CALL YOU OUT
Top that off with her "I'm a victim of hate" reaction to others on social media calling her out over her need to be outraged over something so petty, and we have the perfect example of what modern day feminism has done to a whole generation of women.
Sarkeesian then whined to The Insider website about the amount of "vitriol" her tweets received.
"It's ironic. Women, especially feminists, get accused of being emotional and angry and all of these things when all we said was 'Hey, I noticed this thing. And it's kind of a problem, and I think it's really bad for our society,'" Sarkeesian told Insider. "If they didn't reply to it, my tweet would have just been gone. They made it a much bigger deal."
I almost don't know where to start with that ..... so, let us begin by stating her Twitter account is not marked private where only her followers can see her commentary. Her comments were public, meaning anyone on Twitter can respond. So they did.
Secondly, she is blaming those that called her out for her 1) Being wrong, and; 2) pettiness, and claiming they are responsible for the backlash?
No, she complained. She attempted to manufacture outrage over a freaking TV show. She went on a four tweet rant about it to her 41K followers.
The sympathetic Insider writer claims she was being "dogpiled," and "harassed" for having an opinion, yet in a public debate, where commentary is out there for everyone to see, being called out is not harassment, it is others sharing their opinion in response to hers.
The only reason she is calling it "harassment" in a subsequent tweet is because those responding disagree with her, and called her out about her manufactured outrage.
These modern day feminists that have nothing better to do than hunt for things to be angry and outraged about so they can run to social media to make others as miserable as they are, need to be called out.... every single day.
NORMAL WOMEN STANDING UP TO MODERN DAY ANGRY FEMINISTS
One thing I have maintained since I started documenting modern day feminists is that other woman, normal women, need to stand up and call them out for their antics, their attacks on men and their constant state of anger and outrage. So when we see other women doing so, we do like to acknowledge them.
In that piece Venker highlights a study that shows that women are unhappier today than they were thirty years ago, despite their lives having improved over the past 40 years. Venker also highlights that modern day women are far more stressed than the generations before them.
From the hypocrisy of calling ‘sexism’ at every turn while demanding that men treat women as ‘equals’, to the failed redos of predominantly-male cast tv and movie shows with all women, (and which no one wanted to see), in the name of ‘gender equality” (Ghostbusters anyone?); to the incessant yelping about ‘toxic masculinity’, feminists have created a dystopian society so intolerable that even some of them are pushing back. Recently, even the Trump-hating (but Harvey Weinstein loving) Meryl Streep said “Sometimes, I think we’re hurt. We hurt our boys by calling something toxic masculinity. I do,” Streep said, per In Style magazine “And I don’t find [that] putting those two words together … because women can be pretty f***ing toxic. It’s toxic people. We have our good angles, and we have our bad ones. I think the labels are less helpful than what we’re trying to get to, which is a communication, direct, between human beings. We’re all on the boat together. We’ve got to make it work.” Amen sister! Though I don’t care for her personally, I always give credit where its due, and she’s completely right! Hopefully others will take heed – liberal women do have sons after all.
The quest for ‘a more perfect union’ in America continues, and I’ll never claim we’re already completely there, though, unlike the America-hating Left, I believe we’ve made tremendous progress and are working towards it every day. But there are issues that need to be fixed, such as unjust incarcerations when they exist; exclusionary bias, either racial or gender, (but my solution is merit not quotas; and an overall leveling of the playing field, meaning to defeat this growing nepotism of the ‘elites’ versus everyone else – which again, is part of why Trump got elected. The solution however, is not more anger, rage and emotion, it’s actually less emotion and more common sense. It’s knowing that we women can be our strong accomplished best while still allowing for men to be theirs, that the one does not diminish the other.
Kudos to both women for standing up, speaking out and pushing back against modern day feminists.
