The liberal media's collective Trump Derangement Syndrome has provided many humiliating documented examples of their inability to "report the news" without consistently manufacturing outrage among their viewers, one of which now has both Washington Post and CNN being sued for hundreds of millions of dollars, each.
From the whole Covington Catholic student controversy, to the knee jerk media reports on the Jussie Smollet hate hoax, one would think the liberal media would think twice about jumping the gun on yet another "Gotcha" moment, where they misrepresent everything about a story in order to spin it negatively for President Trump and his supporters..... but no, once again, with their coverage of the New Zealand Massacre, which reportedly took the lives of 49 people and injured many others, they prove their inability to "report" news without trying to trash Trump and his supporters.
COVINGTON UPDATE - CNN SUED FOR $275 MILLION FOR DEFAMATION AND LIES
Long story short on the Covington Cathothic student Nick Sandmann and his attorneys' efforts on his and his families behalf to hold the irresponsible media to account for their false, misleading and threatening reportage, we'll do a very brief recap.
The Media Spin: A short, selectively edited video went viral, which made it appear as if a group of Covington Catholic students were "surrounding" and Indian elder, Vietnam Veteran, "taunting" and "mocking him," where media outlets jumped into "Gotcha" mode, and started trashing Trump supporters, claiming the kids were racists, disrespectful, dangerous, with some saying the kid can be "punched" int he face, (CNN contributor said that).
The Truth The Media Ignored: The full nearly two-hour video was published immediately, showing that the entire narrative was false, the man approached the students, not the other way around. The students did not "taunt" or "mock" him, but stood still in the face of the Indian elder beating his drum right in the face of Nick Sandmann. Last but not least, the Indian elder was not a Vietnam veteran.
The media's reporting endangered the students lives, caused a massive liberal Internet mob, including some journalists from large outlets, to threaten the students and their families, threaten their school, and attempt to destroy their reputations.
Fast Forward To Present Day: The attorneys' for the Sandmann family filed a $250 million lawsuit against Washington Post for defaming and endangering the Covington students. This week they filed a lawsuit against CNN for $275 for bringing "down the full force of its corporate power, influence, and wealth on Nicholas by falsely attacking, vilifying, and bullying him despite the fact that he was a minor child." (Page #2)
From the complaint, pages #2 and #3, we see the following:
12. Contrary to its “Facts First” public relations ploy, CNN ignored the facts and put its anti-Trump agenda first in waging a 7-day media campaign of false, vicious attacks against Nicholas, a young boy who was guilty of little more than wearing a souvenir Make America Great Again cap while on a high school field trip to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to attend the January 18 March for Life.
13.CNN’s vicious attack on Nicholas included at least four (4) defamatory television broadcasts and nine (9) defamatory online articles falsely accusing Nicholas and his Covington Catholic High School(“CovCath”) classmates of, among other things, engaging in racist conduct by instigating a threatening confrontation with several African American men (“the Black Hebrew Israelites”) and subsequently instigating a threatening confrontation with Native Americans who were in the midst of prayer following the Indigenous Peoples March at the National Mall.
14. More specifically, CNN falsely asserted that Nicholas and his CovCath classmates were in a “racis[t]” “mob mentality” and “looked like they were going to lynch the Black Hebrew Israelites who were merely “preaching about the Bible nearby” “because they didn’t like the color of their skin” and “their religious views,” and that Nicholas and his classmates then “surrounded” one of the Native Americans, 64-year old Nathan Phillips, creating “a really dangerous situation” during which Nicholas “blocked [Phillips’] escape” when Phillips tried “to leave” the mob, causing Phillips to “fear for his safety and the safety of those with him, ” while Nicholas and his classmates “harassed and taunted” him.
The lawsuit complaint itself is 58 pages long, with with exhibits uploaded to Scribd by Legal Insurrention, the document is 132 pages long, shown below.
Along with the publishing of the complaint filed against CNN, Linwood PC also dropped a two-minute video brutally showing CNN and Washington Post leading the charge against the teenager.
MEDIA RACES TO BLAME TRUMP AND POLITICIZE NEW ZEALAND MASSACRE
In brutal attacks, gunmen opened fire at Mosques in New Zealand, reportedly killing 49 and injuring forty-plus more, immediately described by the media as a "white nationalist," who "who was out to avenge attacks in Europe perpetrated by Muslims," according to Daily Mail.
According to his manifesto, the shooter — who massacred civilians at two mosques in New Zealand’s city of Christchurch — appears to subscribe to a number of ideologies. The document is riddled with white nationalist talking points, and the shooter describes himself as a “fascist.” He also castigates Muslims as “the most despised group of invaders in the west.”
Yet elsewhere in the document, the shooter describes himself as a socialist, “depending on the definition.” The shooter also declares his support for “environmentalism,” “worker’s rights,” and “responsible markets.”
On the one hand, the manifesto presents the political left as an enemy that conducted a “march through the institutions” and describes Antifa, communists, and Marxists as “anti-white scum.” Elsewhere, the shooter writes that “under some definitions,” he is both on the right and the left.
Elsewhere, the shooter disparages conservatism and declines to identify with it, writing that “conservatism is dead, thank god,” and calling it “corporatism in disguise.” Conservatives, he says, “don’t even believe in the race, they don’t have the gall to say race exists” and “don’t even care if it does.”
The shooters' ultimate goal, described in the concluding paragraph at the Brietbart link, is to bring about a civil war between the right and the left in the United States.
Breitbart quotes the Manifesto, "With enough pressure the left wing within the United States will seek to abolish the second amendment, and the right wing within the U.S. will see this as an attack on their very freedom and liberty. The attempted abolishment of rights by the left will result in a dramatic polarization of the people in the United States and eventually a fracturing of the U.S. along cultural and racial lines."
All in all, it sounds like a very sick man.
The media, of course, led by CNN, in less than 24 hours from the brutal massacre, has already decided "who" is to blame and who to attack.
President Trump and his supporters is who the media is going after, despite the the fact that the Manifesto clearly outlines positions on both the left and the right.
In the midst of being engulfed in a $275 million lawsuit for jumping the gun, and making false and misleading accusations without any facts against the Covington students, CNN is once again letting their Trump Derangement Syndrome cause them to politicize a brutal massacre, before the investigations are complete.
In doing so, these liberal news outlets are, in fact, promoting and encouraging the same 'civil war" type divisions that the New Zealand shooter wanted to promote.
They never learn.
