While a video of Hillary Clinton nearly falling down a set of stairs in India, twice, while being held up by two men on either side of her, has gone viral with over 609,000 hits in less than a day, the true spectacle of her India trip was an interview she participated in where she once again trashed Americans, the same U.S. voters that she once called "deplorables."
HILLARY CLINTON'S 'VICTIM' TOUR CONTINUES
Many would claim that losing the 2016 presidential election, an election which almost every media outlet and her own staff told her she didn't have a chance of losing, sent Hillary spiraling downward, resulting in the writing of her book "What Happened," where she basically blamed everything and everyone but herself and her campaign for her loss. That was followed up with her book tour, which actually appeared to be an "I'm A Victim" tour, where she sounded bitter and more crazed with each and every interview, adding more people to blame for her loss with each subsequent appearance.
The problem with that claim is that Hillary's downward spiral began before the 2016 presidential election. Put aside the weird facial expressions, the passing out at the 9/11 memorial, the head-bobbing and the need for two people to help her up a short flight of stairs during the campaign season, and look at her very public spiral downward mentally.
Remember this?
That was after she decided to lump every Trump support and those that would not support Clinton into a "basket of deplorables," not having the mental capacity to understand that alienating millions of Americans, may not be the best way to win a presidential election.
While questioning her physical health, especially after the 9/11 memorial incident is always fair game for those asking to be elected, her mental health appeared to be deteriorating at a rapid pace, seen in her speeches, her physical appearance and in her interviews.
So, the new video (now up to 731,000 views in less than 24 hours) of her slipping-n-sliding down the stairs is being shared everywhere, but it is her statements at the India Today Conclave in Mumbai, India over the weekend, that shows she is either bat-crap crazy or still playing the victim card for political gain. She accuses "White Women" of being "pressured" by the white men in their lives to vote against her. She also once again went after those she once called "deplorables," by trashing middle America for being racist and sexist by refusing to support her.
There’s all that red in the middle, where Trump won. Now, I win the coasts, I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that. But what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign, Make America Great Again, was looking backwards. “You don’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women getting jobs, you don’t want to see that Indian-American succeeding more than you are, whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it.” (Transcript- Daily Wire)
She continued on with her blame-game.
“Democrats, going back to my husband and even before, but just in recent times going back to Bill and our candidates and then President Obama, have been losing the vote, including white women. We do not do well with white men and we don’t do well with married white women,” Clinton said.
She went on to say that white women face an “ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”
Clinton said that she was on the way to winning the white women vote until then-FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to leaders in Congress less than two weeks before the election stating that the FBI reopened its investigation into her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.
“All of a sudden white women, who were going to vote for me and frankly standing up to the men in their lives and the men in their workplaces, were being told, ‘She’s going to jail. You don’t want to vote for her. It’s terrible, you can’t vote for that.’ So, it just stopped my momentum and it decreased my vote enough because I was ahead. I was winning, and I thought I had fought my way back in the ten days from that letter until the election. I fell a little bit short,” Clinton said.
“I think that it was part of a historical trend that I was bucking and then it collapsed on me,” Clinton added. (Transcript- Free Beacon)
THE 2020 DEMOCRATIC 'VICTIM' CANDIDATE
While many conservatives may wave her words away as just more excuses to avoid admitting she ran a bad campaign and wasn't likable enough, as well as those with very real concerns about her physical and/or mental fitness to be president, watching Clinton supporters and the NeverTrump conservatives over this past year, shows this is a pattern of behavior, where many in "Hillary-world," still cannot accept the fact that Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election.
Has-been Hollywood personalities like Kathy Griffin are still sharing images of her with Hillary Clinton that state "It’s #InternationalWomensDay....I don’t want to brag, but I just had to post this picture of me with the President of the United States," over a year after the election has ended.
Supposedly serious publications like FiveThirtyEight write entire articles on what would have happened had Hillary Clinton won, calling it "Earth 2," with Clinton herself even pontificating in an interview described as "the saddest" interview, as to what she would be doing differently on Earth 2."
Browsing through liberal sites and their comment sections (the ones that still allow comments), as well as social media, we are still seeing people scream that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 2 million votes! Never mind the fact over 3 million more in CA voted for Clinton, meaning if the nation went by popular vote rather the the electoral college, CA alone would be allowed to dictate the course of our nation. Those same people ignore that 30 states went to President Trump, only 20 to Clinton. Of course as highlighted above, Clinton think they were full of racist, sexist, and weak "white women," unable to decide for themselves who they wanted to support.
Despite multiple reports of the Democratic establishment just wanting Hillary Clinton to shut up and go away, her public appearances do not just attack President Trump, in fact she spends more time pushing the "victimhood" mentality, explaining how she was the victim of Russia, white men pressuring white women, James Comey, sexism, misogyny, the media, Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, a broke DNC, uninformed voters.... and the list goes on and on.
Dan Perkins at PoliZette, who has noted the behavior by Clinton to date, not that of someone planning to go quietly into the night, he makes a bold prediction that Hillary Clinton is setting herself up to be the "ultimate victim" candidate in 2020.
BOTTOM LINE
Perkins does offer a persuasive argument which also explains her consistent "victimhood" appearances, and what exactly could the DNC do to prevent her from running if she decides to try one last time using the "sympathy" her supporters to continue to pour all over her?
If the DNC blocks her or in any way tries to prevent her from running, should she decide to, she would undoubtedly scream "VICTIM," even louder and her supporters would eat it up dividing Democrats like never before.
Hillary Clinton has always been all about Hillary Clinton, not what is best for the Democratic party and there is no doubt that she would rip the whole party in half if they dared get in the way of what she wants.
While her most recent comments and blaming everything and everyone under the sun for her 2016 loss seem to indicate she is still spiraling downward, does anyone really doubt that If Hillary Clinton thought for one second she could win the presidency in 2020 by using her "victimhood," that she wouldn't do it?
As to the Clinton video showing her slipping-n-sliding down the stairs in India, it has gone from 609,000 views when I began this piece to nearly a million views by the time I finished it.
