While the media, on behalf of the Biden regime, insists the economy is "booming," inflation is down, and by all metrics U.S. Citizens should be happy with "Bidenomics," most Americans aren't buying what they are selling. NPR claims it is a "hangover" from high inflation, but in reality it is Americans looking at their lack of savings, their wallet, their checking accounts and their grocery bills.
No matter how low monthly or yearly inflation numbers go, prices aren't going down and won't unless we see negative inflation. Some media outlets will casually mention this fact while hammering the White House talking points, acting like Americans are ungrateful for the wonders of Bidenomics.
The disconnect between the MSM narrative and Americans who are struggling to feed their families, is the media is doing everything in their power to protect Biden and help him get reelected, and Americans are simply trying to survive.
Not only are the majority of American living paycheck to paycheck, but according to recent reports, more and more are being forced to use food banks, and are "scared" for their future.
Another American, Carl Willette from Augusta, Maine, said he's been relying on a food bank consistently for the first time in his life.
"It is like a noose around your neck getting tighter," Willette, 85, and a caregiver for his wife, said. "You cannot imagine the pressure that is on us now with everything the way it is. I can’t understand, how do they justify the wages that there are today, why does stuff have to go up like that, why does it have to go up so much?
Food banks are much more expensive to run, according to Jen Muzia with the Seattle Ballard Foodbank, who told Fox News Digital, "It’s costing us way more to buy food."
Now Biden is busy claiming that the high cost of food, and just about everything else, isn't his fault, it is corporations refusing the lower their prices, yet Americans see right through that strawman, as an overwhelming majority express extremely low confidence in Biden in regards to the economy and illegal immigration.
The share of Americans saying they are very or somewhat confident in him to make good decisions on economic policy has fallen 20 percentage points since March 2021 (from 56% to 36%).
Most Americans seem to be far smarter than Biden and the media think they are, as they see through the attempts to gaslight them.
It isn't only food either. Winter is right around the corner and many cannot afford to heat their homes, which makes people like retired Pennsylvania State Police officer John Lawler and his team of volunteers, actual heroes. No superpowers needed.
Lawler operates what's known as a firewood bank. The concept is similar to the food pantry; except community members who can't afford to heat their homes come here to get firewood, not canned vegetables.
More than 100 firewood banks exist nationwide — a number that U.S. Forestry officials say is growing as more Americans struggle with energy bills.
"There's more of a need. There's more of a need now than there was four years ago," he said.

Now, with all of that facing U.S. citizens, the last thing we want to see is the out of control border, and how the federal government and liberal state leaders are using taxpayer money being used to feed illegal immigrants.
Top that off with the amount of food those illegals are "rejecting" and throwing away, and Americans have every justification to be furious with the Biden regime.

ILLEGALS TOSSING TAXPAYER FOOD
While Americans are still struggling to feed their families, prices continue to increase. Not by the 10%-11% that we saw from May to December 2022, but on top of those numbers. While most reading this understand the way inflation works, it is still worth noting that if the annual inflation is 3% by the end of the 2023, that is 3% more than the 20% it rose since 2021.
The point here is no matter how low inflation gets, prices are not lowering, and won't be lowering. What we pay now at the grocery store will continue to rise.
That makes these next reports even more infuriating.
In October 2023 it was reported that more than 10 million immigrants illegally crossed the U.S. border, and that number has risen considerably in the last couple of months. Border states have been sending many to states and cities that call themselves "sanctuary cities." Those sanctuary cities are no longer happy to see immigrants continue to flow into their state, or over the border.
New York City (NYC) is one of those so-called "sanctuary cities," and proudly stood by that moniker until governor's from multiple border states started bussing illegals to NYC.
First and foremost, despite the amount of homeless Americans, including veterans, in American, NYC, and other city/states are proving free room, board and food to those that crossed into America illegally.
If that isn't enough to make folks want to see Biden tried for treason for allowing an invasion of American, then perhaps learning that in NYC, new reports show that from October 22 and November 22, more than 70,000 meals have been trashed because the food apparently wasn't good enough for those being fed and housed for free.
A controversial contractor being paid millions by the Big Apple to handle migrant services is tossing away tens of thousands of uneaten meals prepared for migrants — including 5,000 on a single day, company records show.
DocGo, which was awarded a hefty $432 million no-bid contract by Mayor Adams’ administration to help relocate some migrants upstate, receives up to $33 per day to provide three meals for each of the 4,000 asylum seekers in its care, the New York Times reported.
A significant number of those meals, however, are being trashed — with more than 70,000 being “wasted” between October 22 and November 22, according to the internal records obtained by the outlet.
More than 5,000 meals for asylum seekers were thrown out on November 6 alone, the records show.
As a side note: This has been ongoing since at least January 2023, when it was reported that "‘Tons’ of food gets tossed daily by NYC hotel because migrants won’t eat it."
In a follow up piece by New York Post, we see the illegals complaining about the food, saying is is "bad." Not as in rotten food, no, but they don't like the taste of what they are being fed on the taxpayers dime.
From the report: "Meals served to the migrants include pancakes and Quecas, a type of fried tortilla, for breakfast; sandwiches for lunch and dinners including chicken alfredo and chicken with spaghetti."
The donuts they complain are too sweet, the sandwiches are too cold, so they toss them rather than let them sit out for an hour to thaw. Keeping them frozen is to prevent the food from going bad before reaching them.
Now this next sentence from the report really galls me.
The number of meals being wasted is down, in part, to asylum seekers ditching the city-funded food in favor of buying their own.
They are also being handed taxpayer money to buy food, when Americans are struggling to buy food for their families.
Here is another part of the article which should open some eyes.
Fellow mom, Alexandra Salas — who has been staying at the Roosevelt for seven months — said she, too, won’t feed her kids the cold meals.
“The breakfast and lunch is so cold we can’t eat it, so it gets thrown in the trash,” she said.
Seven months in what used to be an upscale hotel, while Americans are living on the streets, homeless and without food.
That is NYC, but they are not alone as other states are also doing the same thing. In Massachusetts they will be offering state-funded food benefits for immigrants, at a cost of about "$6 million, which advocates say will last seven months."
Multiply these numbers, the cost and the rejected and trashed food by the amount of states that provide more for illegals than they do Americans.
BOTTOM LINE
According to FAIR, The fiscal burden of illegal immigration on United States taxpayers for 2023, totals more than $150 billion.
Just imagine what that $150 billion could do for homeless Americans and vets, hungry children, for the people force to food banks because they cannot afford to feed their families. Imagine how many things can be done for America with that type of money, each year.
Since 2021, when Joe Biden started occupying the White House, the nation has gone from America First policies, to America and Americans last.

Seeing it after the first new video showing all the headlines about Americans skipping meals because they cannot afford groceries, is devastating that this is being allowed to happen by the Biden regime.
