Media Terrorizing America: Inciting Liberal Rage Over Kavanaugh Confirmation Is A Perfect Example Of Why Millions Consider The MSM To Be The 'Enemy Of The People'
Google defines the term terrorize as "create and maintain a state of extreme fear and distress in (someone); fill with terror. Merriam Webster's first definition is "to fill with terror or anxiety."
Both definitions accurately describes the tactics used by the majority of the liberal, establishment media, from the biggest online publications such as NYT, Washington Post, ABC, NBC etc... to the TV talking heads over at CNN, MSNBC, etc... with the latest example being the whole confirmation circus surrounding Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
MSM TERRORIZING THE MASSES
The MSM has terrorized millions upon millions of Americans consistently over the past two years, from blaring headlines about tens of thousands dying if the (insert any actions taken by the Trump administration or GOP-controlled congress) or how the Internet will die if Net Neutrality is repealed, yet here we all are, on the Internet, nearly four months later.
The examples go on and on, but after watching this whole Kavanaugh saga play out, resulting in violence, death threats, screaming protesters, much of which was detailed on Wednesday by Stefan Stanford, by people who have been incited by the MSM on behalf of the Democratic party.
When Democrat politicians vowed to oppose Kavanaugh with "with everything I’ve got," what many still do not understand to be part of the Democrats' arsenal is, and has been, the liberal establishment media.
Flashback to the headlines when Judge Kavanaugh was first nominated, how the media instantly knew how to terrorize feminists across the nation by claiming Judge Kavanaugh would be the end of Roe Vs Wade, without any proof of such an assertion. We'll use the liberals favorite word for that, the MSM blew the "dog whistle" to steer the angry liberals in the direction they wanted them to move, which was right into protests.
They turned in their pink pussy hats and changed into "hand maiden" costumes to imply that if Judge Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court, he would automatically send women's rights back 100 years. Because nothing seems to be more important to liberal feminists than the unhindered ability to murder babies in the womb.

After Judge Kavanaugh sailed through the confirmation hearings, the next phase of the establishment media's opposition campaign began, we will call it the "character assassination" phase.
Washington Post launched "campaign character assassination" by reporting on Christine Blasey Ford, claiming that over 35 years ago, she was assaulted by Kavanaugh while at a party. No details were provided as to where the party was, when the party occurred, how she got to the part, how she got home....nothing, she didn't remember any of it, and the Washington Post didn't bother trying to validate or debunk her claim in any meaningful manner, because it didn't matter to them, just smearing Judge Kavanaugh mattered.
Period.
Had they done even the most basic research before charging ahead with that report, they would have found out that none of the witnesses Ford claimed were present would corroborate her story.
There is also no mention in the Wapo report that when Ford originally spoke with them via text on July 6 she described the incident as happening in the mid-1980s, (which was highlighted in Ford's senate testimony by the sexual crimes expert prosecutor who was questioning Ford for the GOP) yet in the September article on Wapo, the story had already changed and it is described as "one summer in the early 1980s." They ignore that Ford's therapists notes, which the writer of the Wapo article claims Ford showed her, but Ford says she doesn't remember showing her, also highlighted the mid-1980s.
Via PowerLine, we have a visual representation of these changing timelines:
Margot Cleveland over at USA Today highlights the significance of this and why Ford's stories changed in regards to the years in question from 2012, 2013, and the the July 6 references to "mid-1980's, while she was in her "late teens" to suddenly changing it to the "early 1980s."
First, Ford’s testimony that the assault occurred in the summer of 1982, when just 15, conflicted with both her therapist’s notes and the text message Ford sent to the Washington Post. According to reporter Emma Brown, Ford claimed she had been assaulted in the mid-1980s; and the therapist’s notes stated Ford had been the victim of an attempted rape in her late teens. But by that time, Kavanaugh was attending Yale, so Ford’s recasting of the attack to the summer of 1982 is suspect.
Her story changed after Senator Dianne Feinstein "recommended" an attorney to Ford.
These inconsistencies, specifically the fact that Ford's initial texts with the Wapo reporter gave a different timelines than the interview which launched the Wapo story, should have raised a red flag with the Wapo reporter Emma Brown, yet they ignored it, because they wanted to terrorize their readers into thinking Kavanaugh tried to "rape" Ford when he was a teenager.
NBC wasn't done yet, as they further pushed the character assassination campaign against Judge Kavanaugh into high gear by implying he lied during his Senate testimony, as as proof they produced transcripts that edited out the proof that he was telling the truth, before adding an updated paragraph after they were busted.
NBC still wasn't finished as they interviewed Julie Swetnick, a woman two years older than Kavanaugh, who pushed claims of gang rape parties where boys spiked drinks so they could "train" rape young girls, stating Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge were there at the parties, although she never saw them rape anyone and didn't see them spike any drinks. Of course NBC admitted they couldn't validate her claims, and she backtracked on a number of her original assertions during the interview, and no one has stepped forward to corroborate her story, and last but not least, a sworn statement was sent to the Judiciary committee from an ex-boyfriend which offers insight into the lack of credibility of any of her claims....... graphic insight.
The man's name is Mr. Dennis Ketterer, a former Democratic candidate for Congress and weatherman for WJLA Channel 7 in Washington, and the letter was sent in under penalty of perjury. Key excerpts below:
“During a conversation about our sexual preferences, things got derailed when Julie told me that she liked to have sex with more than one guy at a time. In fact sometimes with several at one time. She wanted to know if that would be ok in our relationship.
“I asked her if this was just a fantasy of hers. She responded that she first tried sex with multiple guys while in high school and still liked it from time-to-time. She brought it up because she wanted to know if I would be interested in that.”
… “Julie never said anything about being sexually assaulted, raped, gang-raped or having sex against her will. She never mentioned Brett Kavanaugh in any capacity.”
… “Because I had lost Julie’s number I called her father to get it. When I talked to him about possibly bringing her on to help with my campaign, he told me that she had psychological and other problems at the time.”
… “I know what it’s like to be sexually assaulted and not be believed. I was 9 years old when it happened at the hands of my grandfather’s best friend.”
… “My heart still feels heavy, for me as well as Julie and the Kavanaughs. That said, based on my direct experience with Julie, I do not believe her allegations against Mr. Kavanaugh.”
Washington Post and NBC are just two examples of how the establishment media is terrorizing America, deliberately in order to further Democrat politicians and their own liberal agenda by inciting the masses with misleading, uncorroborated stories, which are generally no more than gossip, rather than reporting news.
Here is just a small sample of the MSM's constant attempt to "create and maintain a state of extreme fear and distress," and to fill their readers with "terror and anxiety" over the upcoming confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to be the next Supreme Court Justice.
Screen shots from the political website Memeorandum.
Each and every anti-Kavanaugh headline is geared for the purpose of assassinating Judge Kavanaugh's character, trying to stop the Senate confirmation, and to incite liberals to protest and violence by keeping them in an extreme state of fear and anxiety and instilling terror into their readers' minds at the mere idea that Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
THE MSM ARE THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE
Rarely do I quote National Review's Jonah Goldberg anymore, as a NeverTrumper in the age of President Trump he often sounds a little too holier than thou with his mimicking liberal talking points, but the first sentence in his takedown of how the media is acting, telling the MSM as a whole "Every 15 seconds, you’re demonstrating why millions of people love it when Trump calls you the fake news," is spot on.
Where I vehemently disagree with him is in his opinion that President Trump shouldn't be calling the liberal media the "enemy of the people," because they are actively, consistently and deliberately, terrorizing Americans, and that does make them the enemy of the people.
BOTTOM LINE
If and when Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed and becomes Justice Kavanaugh, the violence by liberals that follows, is on the heads of the MSM, and if any blood flows, that is on their hands.
