The title of this ENENews story sounds like something straight from an extinction-level-event horror movie, except that it’s unfolding now along the West Coasts of America and Canada: “PBS: Plague along West Coast has biologists fearing extinction of species — Experts: Take your kids to beach and see them before they’re gone; Worst outbreak ever known in the oceans; Catastrophic losses nearly everywhere we’ve been”.

While all eyes are on Ebola, are we missing out on something much more important, and much more dangerous to the survival of the human species?
