While applauding President Trump’s repeated assertion he intends to “drain the swamp” we suggest with all due respect, he should be sure to wear hip boots. In fact, if he doesn’t, some of the swimming reptiles may crawl up his leg. Maybe they already have.
Sadly, many of the swamp critters with the biggest teeth and the worst bad breath seem to be looked upon benignly. Just a few decades ago conservatives understood completely how an organization such as the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) stunk to high heaven with their aims of erasing national borders and merging us all into a supra-national government that is known today as “The New World Order, Globalism or Internationalism.” Now however if you ask a newly minted conservative about the CFR, he often thinks when the swamp is drained you shouldn’t disturb such nice animals just because their teeth are sticking out. We ask therefore, why are there so many CFR members and cronies still floating around?
According to Chuck Baldwin, a Montana Pastor, columnist and sometime critic of Donald Trump (chuckbaldwinlive.com) our President has appointed a multitude of people who belong to the CFR or who are cozy with the Trilateral Commission (another Internationalist group pushing world government) or, who are Bilderberg attendees. Here is his list:
CFR Members And Bilderberg Attendees Appointed By Donald Trump
Elaine Chao (wife of Senator Mitch McConnell, R-Ky) United States Secretary of Transportation (CFR individual member); Jay Clayton, Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CFR corporate member); Gary Cohn, Director of the National Economic Council (CFR corporate member); Jamie Dimon, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member); Jim Donovan, Deputy Treasury Secretary (CFR corporate member); Larry Fink, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member); Neil M. Gorsuch, Supreme Court Justice (individual CFR member); Vice Admiral Robert S. Harward, National Security Advisor (declined appointment) (CFR corporate member); Kevin Hassett, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (CFR fellow traveler); Robert Wood “Woody” Johnson IV, United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom (individual CFR member); Robert Lighthizer, United States Trade Representative (individual CFR member); James Mattis, Secretary of Defense (Bilderberg attendee); K.T. McFarland, Deputy National Security Adviser (individual CFR member); Linda McMahon, Administrator of the Small Business Administration (CFR corporate member); Army Lt. General Herbert Raymond “H. R.” McMaster, National Security Advisor (individual CFR member, Bilderberg attendee); Jim McNerney, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member); Steve Mnuchin, Secretary of the Treasury (CFR corporate member); Indra Nooyi, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member, Bilderberg attendee); Rick Perry, Secretary of Energy (Bilderberg attendee); Dina Powell, Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategy (CFR corporate member); Ginni Rometty, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member); Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Commerce (Bilderberg attendee); Stephen Schwarzman, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member); Patrick Shanahan, Deputy Secretary of Defense (CFR corporate member); Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State (CFR corporate member); Jack Welch, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member); Heather Ann Wilson, Secretary of the Air Force (individual CFR member)
For the record, this writer voted for Donald Trump. Hellery was obviously certain and quick death, with Trump we seemed to have a chance. But lately I must ask is Mr. Trump being taken for a ride? Or, is he standing knee deep in the swamp while claiming to be draining it? It’s one thing to vote for a man, it’s another to follow him blindly. Thomas Jefferson said the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Another patriot was Thomas Paine who said,
“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.” --Thomas Paine: The American Crisis
If President Trump is legit it’s past time to REALLY start draining the swamp, not importing more tanks full of sharks. On the other hand if he’s fully aware of what he’s doing, then it’s just a matter of time until the alligators crawl out on the banks and finish having all of us for lunch.
In defense of the President, let us observe he has certainly highlighted the critters infesting both the swamp and forest, all of them packing six-shooters and gunning for him. Considering the viciousness of the attacks it makes us believe he really is on the verge of upsetting their cozy little cages. Also, a very bright spot is Attorney General Jeff Sessions who seems to be a real swamp drainer, who according to reports will soon be exposing child sex trafficking in the main pond called Washington D.C.
We also applaud Ben Carson’s appointment as 17th Secretary of HUD. Carson is refreshingly blunt, speaking the truth much to the chagrin of ugly and fierce fish.
"I think poverty to a large extent is also a state of mind," the retired neurosurgeon said during an interview with SiriusXM Radio released on Wednesday evening. "You take somebody that has the right mindset, you can take everything from them and put them on the street, and I guarantee in a little while they'll be right back up there. And you take somebody with the wrong mindset, you could give them everything in the world, they'll work their way right back down to the bottom."
As the murky waters of the swamp lose a few, and gain a few swamp creatures, we hold our breath and pray for a wholesale emptying of rotten water long overdue.
Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
