Anti-Trump 'Rage Junkies' Of The Left - Liberal Media Truly Does Live In An Alternate Reality

By Susan Duclos - All News PipeLine

I awoke this morning to see that one of the top trending phrases on Twitter was "Trump's Rage Junkies," which was the headline of a New York Times op-ed by Charles Blow, who apparently, after reading his drivel, is a very, very enraged black man who makes his hatred of President Trump and his supporters very clear. Blow calls him a racist and claims he "disparages black and brown people, whether they be immigrants, Muslims, people from Haiti and Africa, Barack Obama, the mayor of San Juan or Maxine Waters."

Blow declares in his hit piece that "Trump is exhausting our mental capacity for indignation," which is especially entertaining when liberals (including the media) are "outraged" over each and every statement, tweet or action President Trump makes. I assert it is not president Trump that is exhausting their "mental capacity" for indignation, it is their own anger, constant outrage, and bitterness over losing the 2016 presidential election that is causing it.

Test this assertion for yourself, simply say "President Trump" to any liberal and watch their faces turn red, their ears turn purple, as they start spewing hatred and vitriol.

In fact the consistent outrage of the left is becoming a major problem for Democratic leaders and, as the Washington Post notes, "could become an obstacle in midterms." According to that article "Democratic leaders scrambling to keep the political outrage they’d counted on to fuel midterm election wins from becoming a liability for the party."

Yes, once again they stoke a fire to the point where now they cannot control it.

THE MEDIA TRULY DO LIVE IN AN ALTERNATE REALITY

Here was the kicker that caught my eye from Blow's piece:

Not to mention the fact that those tactics keep his base riled and ready. Trump is like a drug dealer who has addicted his followers to fear and rage and keeps supplying it in constant doses. His supporters have become rage-junkies for whom he can do no wrong.

Well, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

Fear: We'll start with the constant doses of fear and where they actually have come from, since before the election, where Democratic House minority leader Nancy Pelosi stated that Trump's policies would cause "Armageddon" for family finances, the American economy, and the stock market.

Liberal writer Paul Krugman of the New York Times predicted a "global recession," just one day after the 2016 presidential election, while another NYT piece from November 2016 claimed "Trump would likely cause the stock market to crash and plunge the world into recession." Bloomberg, MSNBC, Politico, all ran with that same theme, with Washington Post declaring on their front page "A President Trump Could Destroy the World Economy."

We have seen headlines blaring from CNN declaring "Thousands will die if House bill becomes law," while the folks over at The Hill informed readers that "10,000 people will die annually from GOP tax bill." The media was sure that when Net Neutrality was repealed, it would be the "end of the internet as we know it," as CNN irresponsibly headlined.

Mine is still up and running, how about yours?

When the President announced he was moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, once again, world riots would commence, the media breathlessly reported.

Today the "fear" being pushed by the media is the recent news that Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy has retired and president Trump will be nominating his second SC Justice to the Senate for confirmation. Now all those liberal media outlets are declaring that would mean the end of Roe vs Wade, the end to LGBT rights, and the end of the word as we know it..... again.

The point here is the constant stream of "fear" that Charles Blow speaks of, isn't coming from President Trump to his supporters, it is coming directly from Democrats and liberal media outlets with their mass hysteria and daily doses of outrage.

Rage: By feeding their audience daily doses of fear and outrage, they have enraged them to the point where we are seeing actual calls for harassment of Trump administration officials and violence on the streets.

It is not president Trump telling their followers to "take to the streets to fight for who we are." No that is Democratic Senator Kamala Harris, who is a likely prospect to be a Democratic candidate for president in 2020.

It isn't president Trump telling liberals to gather into mobs and "harass" Trump administration officials on the street, at gas stations, in stores. No that was Democratic Representative Maxine Waters, who is still tripling down even after members of her own party called her out for her inciting liberals to harass people.

It isn't President Trump encouraging his supporters to "put our bodies on the line." No, that is liberal activist Michael Moore. He followed that up by asking "What would you give your life for," while encouraging mass protests.

It isn't just the Democratic politicians and liberal activists pushing rage, each and every day, but the media with their coordinated talking points of "concentration camps" for children, and labeling Trump supporters Nazi's and racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, sexists and "deplorables."

The result of the media and liberals rage campaign has been violence on the street, with Antifa showing up at an event and attacking the Patriot Prayer group, who had permits to hold a peaceful demonstration.

Things turned ugly shortly after 6 p.m., when Patriot Prayer protesters spilled into Third Avenue to begin their permitted march through the streets of Portland.

Antifascist counter-demonstrators immediately began lobbing eggs, half-empty water bottles and firecrackers at the conservative marchers, prompting federal police to fire paintballs filled with pepper spray into the crowd.

Portland police said four people were struck by the projectiles and had to be taken to the hospital. An officer was also struck and taken to the hospital.

Blow's attempt to cause more "rage" against Trump supporters has been sucessful as the trending "Trump's Rage Junkies" shows commentary by liberals verbally attacking all Trump supporters.

The media and liberals daily doses of rage has Trump administration officials being harassed at restaurants, and protesters surrounding their homes. Celebrities threatening President Trump's 11-year old son Barron, verbally attacking his children, and threatening Sarah Sanders' children.

Political Pundit Michelle Malkin, in response to Blows' op-ed, offers more examples of exactly who is "enraged."

BOTTOM LINE

If the media thinks that conservatives "mad as hell" over being labeled Nazis by media outlets, while allowing their panelists and guests to attack Trump supporters every day, is more "rage" than the daily examples we see from the liberals incited to that rage by Democratic politicians and the media's constant stream of "outrage," then they are, indeed, living in an alternate reality.

The irony here is that Blow's New York Times hit piece against President Trump and his supporters, claiming that they are "rage junkies," is full of Blows' own fear and rage to which the liberal "rage junkies," are "raging" about on social media.
