"This guy from Russia just tweeted me and says Putin is out as Prime Minister. They have him in a safe house & now war is coming soon. He said that Russia is messing with a Canadian War Ship and he wants to know what "Red Rain Level Four" means. This whole thing is not looking good. He's giving me details on things they will not allow him to send via E-mail."
Back in 1986 while the cold war was still ongoing, prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall, singer/songwriter Peter Gabriel wrote a song called 'Red Rain', a song which its' lyrics have been interpreted as, among other things, describing nuclear fallout.
'Red rain is coming down'...'Red rain is pouring down, pouring down all over me'...'I cannot make a single sound as you scream'...'I come to you defenses down'...'I can't watch any more...no more denial'...and 'I've seen them buried in a sheltered place in this town' are a few of the lyrics to this song, a song that Gabriel tells us came to him in a recurring dream.:
This was inspired by a recurring dream where Gabriel was swimming in a sea of red water. Gabriel explained to Mojo magazine September 2013: "'Red Rain' was written after a dream I'd had about the sea being parted by two walls. There were these glass-like figures that would screw themselves into each wall, fill up with red blood and then be lowered across the sand, as it were to the next wall, where they'd unload the blood on the other side. I used to have these extremely vivid dreams that scared the hell out of me."
The only thing left to decide is whether the doves are running Russia and there are secret negotiations with the West on normalizing relations. Or will Russia emerge from this period being ruled by a military dictatorship who will be highly aggressive and perhaps launch a first strike without warning? This latter possibility frightens me the most and the so-called evacuation of the London Embassy could easily fuel this fire.
