On October 23, 2025, the White House published the article Democrat Shutdown Jeopardizes America’s Skies explains that air traffic controllers are now taking on 2nd jobs (like driving for Uber/Lyft and making delivery services) because the Democrats keep voting against the "clean CR" to reopen the government. They approved it more than 12 times during the 4 years of the Autopen administration. They have now approved it 1 time and rejected it these last 12 times in the first 9 months of the Trump administration:
Oct 22 yea = 54 nay = 46 Oct 20 yea = 50 nay = 44 Oct 16 yea = 51 nay = 45 Oct 15 yea = 51 nay = 44 Oct 14 yea = 49 nay = 45 Oct 09 yea = 54 nay = 45 Oct 08 yea = 54 nay = 45 Oct 06 yea = 52 nay = 42 Oct 03 yea = 54 nay = 44 Oct 01 yea = 55 nay = 45 Sep 30 yea = 55 nay = 45 Sep 19 yea = 44 nay = 48
So how the airline industry responding?
Controllers’ anger boils over: “They’re angry… They’re frustrated that the Congress — at least in the Senate — is focused on paying for health care benefits for illegals as opposed to paying their paychecks for the great work that they provide to the American people.”
Workers abandoned without paychecks while some government workers have now missed 2 paychecks, air traffic controllers will miss their first paycheck on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Flight disruptions threaten holiday travel: meaning flight cancellations and delays during the busiest travel season in the US: Thanksgiving to New Years. The fewer air traffic controllers on duty on any given day, the fewer flights the rest of them can handle. Not only does this disrupt your travel, it creates a situation where the airline has to cancel flights (losing income) while still paying their employees (you don't know which flights will get cancelled until it happens, so those employees show up to work and need to be paid). In addition, it impacts all the associated private businesses like maintenance, supplies, food service, etc.
Recruitment crisis looms not only are air traffic control schools not getting new students, current students are dropping out to pursue other job opportunities.
The job of the air traffic controller is already known to be a high pressure job. They are known to have low retention and recruitment numbers due to these pressures. Now they are expected to work without pay because their pay depends on the Federal government. Seems to me there needs to be changes to the job of the air traffic controller. Including the possibility of outsourcing those jobs to the private sector. Either there need to be fewer flights each day, reducing the workload on individual controllers or there needs to be more effort put into recruitment, training, and retention. Reducing flights would impact hundreds of thousands of other occupations and cost businesses millions of dollars in revenue.
And what is the Democrat response?
Democrats consider this "leverage" to force their $1,500,000,000,000 demands into the "clean CR" bill. These demands would provide benefits to illegal aliens among other things.
Oh, and Democrats think it's YOUR duty to suffer (discussed in my October 23, 2025 ANP Article) until they have their demands met while the President states that our country will NOT be extorted by Democrats:
Remember that SNAP runs out in November, so make sure your preps and pantry foods are rotated and refilled. If you can't do that, familiarize yourself with the various food programs available in your area. One central source to find food programs in your area is the Feeding America organization.

Those are some of the exact words used by Google’s censors, aka 'Orwellian content police,' in describing many of our controversial stories. Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
