So Much For Global Warming!  Winter Weather Alerts Warn Of Dangerous Sub-Zero Temps As Another Massive Winter System Rolling In Over The Weekend

By Susan Duclos -  All News Pipeline

There is a reason climate hysteria crowd changed their never ending warnings from "global warming" to climate change, and it wasn't just because the term global warming wasn't catchy enough, but rather because of weather events that simply defy the "warming" moniker.

Of course the way the "weather warfare" government entities continue to play with the weather, it truly isn't surprising that far more die in the winter than in the summer.

• Studies show that heat kills about 2,500 people every year in the United States and Canada.

• Each year, more than 100,000 people die from cold in the United States, and only 13,000 in Canada — more than 40 cold deaths for every heat death. (NYP - 2021)

Of course the outdated electrical grid means more electrical outages in the winter, leaving unprepared Americans victims to the freezing weather. The deaths during the winter aren't generally from "freezing to death," but rather having blood flow restricted to keep the body warm, causing increased blood pressure leading to strokes, heart attacks and respiratory diseases.

Here is a quote from that same NYP piece that pretty much shreds the arguments made by the climate change crowd:

For now, rising temperatures likely save lives. A landmark study in the medical journal Lancet found that climate change over the past decades has across every region averted more cold deaths than it has caused additional heat deaths. On average, it saves upwards of 100,000 lives each year.

It isn't surprising that Lancet study has been largely ignored by the powers-that-be, dubbed the "blob" by ANP readers, and the MSM, because it doesn't fit the "official narrative," just as the fact that there has been over 50 years of failed climate predictions, isn't highlighted by the media either.

To admit their climate hysteria is just that, hysteria, would mean ending their war on red meat, and would prevent them from trying to dictate what appliances we can or cannot use, what cars we should or should not drive, and would finally stop the ridiculous talk of cow farts!

BRUTAL CONDITIONS AHEAD.....

Whether using electricity or gas to keep warm during the winter, the grid plays a vital function because even those using propane need electricity to pump it into the house.

The grid doesn't even have to go down, as winter storms have already knocked the power out for nearly a million in the northeast, after killing people in the south.

According to forecasters, the rest of this week will be filled with heavy winds, snow and sub-zero temperatures, and Americans can expect another 'big system" to arrive on Saturday in the northeast.

Via FoxWeather on Jan. 10, titled "Next cross-country winter storm to produce renewed rounds of heavy snow, severe weather."

As one storm system exits the U.S., another event is on its heels later this week, likely producing another round of heavy snow and severe weather in parts of the country that just wrapped up seeing their share of active weather.

The FOX Forecast Center expects a band of heavy snow will fall from Missouri to Michigan, with severe thunderstorms possible from Texas through the Carolinas in the mid-Atlantic.

The graphic below is from CNN, and shows where snow, rain and severe weather will be the worst.

Another powerful storm will bring snow (blue), rain (green) and severe weather (red) to much of the US from late Thursday through Saturday.

That is before the next system rolls in.

Snow and blustery winds will continue across the Northwest through Wednesday afternoon before the storm shifts into the Four Corners region late Wednesday. A round of snow will target the high elevations of Arizona and New Mexico through Thursday.

The storm will then morph into a much larger beast – its strengthening aided by a big push of atmospheric energy – as it exits the Plains by Thursday evening and sets the stage for a highly impactful event in the central and eastern US.

As many have pointed out year after year, it is winter, of course it is supposed to be cold, nothing new there folks!

Yet no matter how many dangerous winters America has gone through, no matter how many people die, one thing never changes......people simply don't learn, and many are left stuck in their homes with either no electricity or no food, many times both.

Food-wise, preppers are never the ones emptying grocery store shelves every time a snow storm happens, but still year after year we see the stories and the images of non-preppers, panic shoppers, waiting in long lines after putting it off until the last minute to rush to the store to stock up.

EXTRA PREPPING FOR WINTER

Food isn't the only thing the should be stocking up on, but again, preparing for the worst while hoping for the best is something only a small minority actually does. Unfortunately.

As we are only less than a month into official winter, which began December 21, 2023, there is time to prepare for the worst which hasn't hit us yet.

From warm blankets and socks to generators, to indoor space heaters, electric for those with a generator, propane for those without, to ways to cook, even just to boil water for your freeze dried survival foods, are all things that most have not done, and even some preppers simply haven't been able to or haven't gotten around to it.

All items listed below have been screened for the earliest delivery dates.

Generators:

One of the first things that goes when a massive storm hits is your electricity. if out for long enough your perishables in the fridge and freezer will go bad, so a generator is a must. Not just for storms but for any scenario where you lose your electricity.

Genkins 4500 Watt Open Frame Inverter Generator 30 Amp Pure Sine Wave

PowerSmart Portable Inverter Generator, 2500W Ultra-Quiet Gas Engine, CARB Compliant, Eco-Mode Feature, Ultra Lightweight for Backup Home Use & Camping (PS5020W)

DuroMax XP13000EH Dual Fuel Portable Generator 13000 Watt Gas or Propane Powered Electric Start-Home Back Up, Blue/Gray

Space Heaters:

These gadgets are all we use up here in the western Maryland mountains, and they are cost efficient. Rather than using central heater, either gas, which is very expensive, or electric which costs far more to cool the entire house/apartment, than one or two space heaters in the rooms you use the most.

The best part is they are very cheap.

Extra Warm Clothing:

The basics are things most people already have, especially preppers and survivalists, but given the colder than normal weather predictions for so many U.S. regions, it may be prudent to have extras.

Thick Warm Socks - A must for me year round.

Warm Blankets - Cheap and you can have a couple in each room.

Fingerless Gloves - Indoor, these do keep yours hands feeling warmer.

Disposable dishware, and after having tried the compostable plates, my advice would be to stay away from them. They become soggy long before one can finish eating and heaven forbid you try to cut something on them, your food ends up in your lap.

BOTTOM LINE

This winter, and for some like Stefan and I, even before winter, weather has been brutal. Nearly a million people are already suffering from power outages and worse weather is coming for the end of this week, with another system coming over the weekend.

Not many of those without electricity right now, are prepared and while I would say they wish they were, if that were true, previous winters would have prompted them to have prepared. Some just never learn.
