For years financial experts have been issuing warnings about the weakening global economy, highlighting signs to look for, all in an attempt to warn the masses of what they saw coming at us like an out-of-control freight train, with the mainstream media downplaying each global "event" and treating anyone that wasn't pushing the "nothing to see here, move along" official narrative, as if they were nothing more than "conspiracy" theorists.
When the media finally starts telling a portion of the truth as they are starting to now, it is too late to stop the dominoes from falling.......
HUNGER GAMES
While there is no shortage of Internet information available on what happens when total collapse happens in a country, one doesn't have to look to theories, or predictions, all one has to do is look at Venezuela, present day, where rolling blackouts, riots and food shortages have residents saying the country is starting to look like the movie series "The Hunger Games."
Maduro warned that the water level behind the nation’s largest dam has fallen to near its minimum operating level because of a severe drought. If it gets much lower, the whole nation could be plunged into darkness. Experts say lack of planning and maintenance is to blame as much as the weather.
Caracas is being spared from the rolling blackouts and has not seen violent protests. Some Venezuelans complain that the country is starting to resemble the dystopian series “The Hunger Games,” in which districts suffer for the benefit of a heartless capital city.
In late April 2016, J.D. Heyes at Natural News highligted how bad conditions really are right here in America, stating "And there are many, many other problem areas as well. According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, which puts together a report card every four years grading the nation's infrastructure, in 2013 the U.S. received a grade of "D+," as the group estimated infrastructure upgrades to water pipes, the electric grid, roads and bridges would surpass $3.6 trillion."
-- Energy – D+
-- Transit – D
-- Aviation – D
-- Levees – D-
-- Dams – D
-- Drinking water – D
In the event of an economic collapse in America, given the state of our infrastructure, it will not take long at all for conditions in the U.S. to surpass the the hardships Venezuelans are suffering now.
Take a good, long, hard loook at the images and videos below to see exactly what economic collapse looks like, because your level of preparation when the U.S. economy breaks down could very well be what your survival depends on.
Description of what is shown below via The Observers:
According to people I know who were there when the incident took place, people were already on edge because they had been waiting for hours in the sun.
When the police officers arrived, they walked right into the store, where they spoke with one of the employees. A few minutes later, the same employee started bringing out bags of corn flour. All the people waiting saw this and it made them angry.
Increasingly, people are standing up when they see the security forces acting in this way. People are angry because we are facing shortages of everything right now: sugar, milk, diapers, medicine, flour, bread, eggs, chicken, tomato sauce, mayonnaise, beans, spare car parts… [Editor’s note: Starting last year, lootings have also been increasing in frequency as people face these shortages].
“Some managers of grocery stores have come to informal agreements with security forces”
Quite a few store managers have come to informal agreements with the security forces. The security officers pay the same price as everyone else, but they don’t have to wait in line. Most of them bring these products back to their families, but others sell them on the black market. Store managers comply because they want the security forces to protect their stores. So everyone benefits from this arrangement… except the general population!
BOTTOM LINE
While no one wants the U.S. to suffer an economic collapse, or a terrorist attack, EMP, or any other catastrophe, it is always better to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best, and at the rate that country after country is starting to break down, we feel preparing is better done sooner rather than later because once it hits, things are going to deteriorate at a rapid pace.
