Section 2 Updating Scope of Duties Globally modifies the Harmonized Tariff Schedule beginning November 13, 2025.
Section 3 Implementation tasks the Secretary of Commerce and the US Trade Representative to regularly consult on the outcomes of this EO and keep the President informed of any circumstances that might lead to amendment of this EO. In addition, the Secretary of Commerce, Secretary of Homeland Security, and the US Trade Representative are directed and authorized to adopt rules, regulations, or guidance to support this order.

On November 14, 2025, the White House published the articleWere Making Big Progress on Prices and Well Keep Working to Make Sure Everyone Benefitsin which the White House claims that President Trump has "tamed" the inflation crisis created during the Autopen Administration when inflation averaged nearly 5% (up as much as 9.1% at its height) to a current 2.7%. The article touts purchasing power has increased nearly $700 after the $2,900 drop during Autopen's Administration. They claim gas prices, grocery prices, and housing prices are trending lower. The White House lauds the Trump Administration's actions to generate tax cuts, bring jobs and investment back to the US, deregulatory efforts, reducing the deficit, and the fact that 1,900,000,000 more American-born people are working than during Autopen's Administration.
I need to remember that you don't undo decades of destruction in a few short months. There will be ups and downs as the deep state fights against what the Trump Administration is trying to do (as noted in the sheer amount of lawfare generated against them). As we have discussed with gas, it depends on where you live what prices you pay. While a majority of ANP Commenters state their gas has gone down, the gas where I live has gone up. Likewise, grocery prices have gone down in my area but not in others. I can't help but feel that by removing tariffs on imports of food, it will cause our food to cost more in the long run because it demoralizes our farmers & ranchers with competition from places that have lower costs of living and it will cost them more to produce less.
