We have written about TEOTWAWKI and we have seen warnings from others about it. Those warnings assume that the world as we know it would be caused by an attack, cyber warfare could take out the internet and all the services that utilize the internet. Maybe a terrorist attack or EMP that would take the grid down. A life altering volcano could blow. Any number of scenarios have been discussed in relation to TEOTWAWKI.
The point is, when we think of the term TEOTWAWKI, we assume the physical end of the world or our portion of it, an attack or event that would have us scavenging for food, water, medical supplies, fighting off thieves, defending our homes and just attempting to survive day by day without starving.
I would argue that disaster doesn't have to happen to change the world as we know it, despite the term being associated, by us and others, with a catastrophic event.
A reader recently left a comment that will most likely resonate with anyone that is reading this. He said "Ya know what's really funny? TEOTWAWKI already happened, and people STILL don't think it can happen here... Is this the world you knew just 8 months ago?"
When we stop to think about it, he is spot on. The world as we knew it is gone already. Anyone that thinks that certain politicians will allow their residents to totally go back to the way their lives were before COVID-19, is more than just naïve, they are being willfully blind.
ONE YEAR AGO COULD YOU IMAGINE...........................?
Just one year ago, could you imagine public officials discussing going into peoples homes and removing them for a forced 14 day quarantine, even if they just came in contact with someone that had coronavirus?
Ten states prohibit in-person gatherings of any form: California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Minnesota, Montana and Vermont. Twenty-two states and the District of Columbia specify in their orders that “religious gatherings can take place, but only if they are limited to 10 people or fewer,” Pew found. Two other states, Connecticut and Oregon, limit church gatherings to 50 and 25 people, respectively. Fifteen states allow churches to continue gathering without any limits. Those states are Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Arkansas, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
There have been court challenges to this travesty and the majority of churches and citizens that file suit, won their judgment.
Just a year ago could you have imagined a state Governor would have the audacity, under the guise of public safety, to forbid people from visiting their neighbors or relatives, with very few exceptions?
Well, back in April 2020, Michigan's tyrannical governor, Gretchen Whitmer, did just that.
Traveling to another home within Michigan, even to visit friends or relatives, or to go to a vacation home, is now banned under Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s coronavirus stay-at-home order, which has been extended until May 1.
Eventually that ban was lifted after a major public outcry and calls for Whitmer to be recalled.

Just a year ago, could you have imagined local elected leaders forcing businesses to shut down due to a virus, and listing those businesses as "non-essential?"
Just a year ago, could you have imagined that here in America, the so-called "land of the free," that state leaders could mandate the wearing of a specific piece of clothing? Or that people would get so insane that they will cause a massive scene if someone isn't wearing a mask?
Or vice versa, that people would have to cause a scene because a bunch of "Karens" decide to verbally and/or physically attack someone for not wearing a mask?
Think about that. Americans just calmly accepting mandates forcing them to wear something, to the point where they will verbally harass someone for not doing so.
Those are the sleeping Americans that do not understand they are willingly helping to strip the rights of their fellow Americans, as their own are stripped as they buy into the narrative being pushed by the media and state leaders.
Just a year ago, could any of us believed we would see a time where liberal state leaders would create a snitch hotline so that those same "Karens" could call and report their neighbors, friends, or businesses for violating the tyrannical state mandates?
The Honolulu Police Department launched a HPD COVID-19 hotline and email that started on Aug. 9 at 10 a.m.
HPD reports it got more than 300 phone calls and about 80 emails reporting possible violations in the first 24 hours. This weekend there were 1,350 citations for violations of the emergency order.
Just a year ago, could you imagine that children in America would not be allowed to attend school? To date many schools are planning to stay closed for the foreseeable future.
Each of these examples and more portray an America that looks nothing like the one we knew just a year ago.
BOTTOM LINE
Tyranny. Mandates. Daily violations by the state of constitutional rights. Senseless closures.
Apparently at least half the population has been sleep-walking right through "The end of the world as we knew it."
That is a reality we all need to accept, while at the same time, attempt to awaken those walking around like obedient zombies, so that hopefully we can at least recreate some of what we once had.
It'll be an uphill battle and America will never be what is was just a year ago.
A few examples below show how these changes are causing Americans to be at each other throats with physical confrontations.
