Once again after an officer involved shooting resulted in the death of an African-American man, before the investigations are even complete, the "thugs of Charlotte' North Carolina have begun rioting, protesting, attacking reporters, beating up white people and basically burning down the town.
The video will only be shown to the family of Keith Scott, 43, who was shot dead by a black police officer in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney said.
North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency during Wednesday night's rioting, which saw one man critically wounded by a gunshot. At least eight more civilians and four police officer were injured and 44 people arrested for charges ranging from assault to failure to disperse.
Many of the protesters dispute the official account of Scott's death. Police contend he was carrying a gun when he approached officers and ignored repeated orders to drop it. His family and a witness say he was holding a book, not a firearm, when he was killed.
The police chief, Kerr Putney, who is also black, pushed back hard at social media narratives that Scott had a book, not a gun. He said on September 21 that Scott was armed with a gun and refused commands to drop it, and that police did not find a book at the scene, according to WSOC-TV. At least seven civilians were also injured in the unrest on Tuesday alone. The violence escalated Wednesday with more violence, including an incident in which a civilian shot another civilian, critically wounding him, according to the City of Charlotte’s Twitter page. Another four officers were also injured Wednesday, the city said.
Both Vinson and Scott are African-American.
So a black officer, with a good reputaion, shot an armed black man and Black Lives Matter activists are attacking whites and blaming white "f'ing devils."
How much sense does that make?
Quite a bit if we look at this in the context of of another black activist, Taheshia Williams, who claimed to be an eye witness started pushing the story instantly that it was a "white" cop that fired the fatal shot and further asserted that Scott was not armed...... except images that she herself posted on her Facebook page, clearly shows a weapon next to Scott's body.
One has to wonder if this woman's fairy tale, that was exposed as lies with very little work by the good folks over at Bearing Arms, is just a liar or if she was paid to create a false story in order to provide an excuse to BLM activists in order to riot?
It is not just in Charlotte that we are seeing blacks declare war on whites, as we note another incident where two teenagers were hurt in Stockton, by Black Lives Matter activists, because they were white.
One also has to wonder why Obama's Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, after the obligatory call for no violence, actually is encouraging more "peaceful" protests, claiming most the protesters we practicing their constitutionally protected right to "peaceful" protest in order to "raise issues and create change" and then encouraging more of the same by saying "we need your voice."
Really? We need a protest over a black officer shooting and armed black suspect????!!?? That is encouraging even more violence, despite her pathetic talking points about violence being unwelcome, while inciting more of the same by encouraging protesters to continue.
Perhaps Hillary should have waited until the facts were in before issuing her false assertion that Scott was "unarmed" or maybe some folks should send her over the images showing the gun lying next his body.
While we at ANP have documented cases where the law enforcement was in the wrong, in this case, where a suspect, I don't care what color he is, is armed and facing off with police, they should expect to be fired on and Hillary Clinton should be ashamed of herself for even suggesting that law enforcement should not protect themselves and the public by saying "this has got to end."
What has got to end is the endless stream of riots and race baiting, the constant barrage of threats against whites every time there is an incident, and especially pushing a false narrative about a "white" cop when it is was a black cop that fired the fatal shot!
BOTTOM LINE
These "thugs" in Charlotte are busy burning down the town, injuring police officers and civilans alike, blocking traffic and surrounding innocent people sitting in their vehicles, terrorizing the community, looting, starting fires, all based on a false narrative, to which the Obama adminsitration and the Democratic nominee for president is encouraging.
