Venezuela's Death Spiral Offers Preppers Priceless Lessons To Be Learned With 'Day Of Reckoning' Approaching In America

- Collapsing Socialist Nation Proves 'Food Is A Weapon' And Just How Close 'Society' Is To 'Anarchy'

By Stefan Stanford - All News Pipeline - Live Free Or Die

In the new story from Jose Martinez over at the Organic Prepper titled "5 Things That Disappeared During the Collapse of Venezuela", our author, himself a native of Venezuela, gives us a very good look at what might happen here in America should similar conditions suddenly arise with more and more young Americans now calling for capitalism to be replaced by socialism

While food was one of the obvious 5 things made suddenly scarce in the collapsed socialist nation, the other 4 make impossible any semblance of 'normal life' with money, transportation, utilities and self-defense rounding out his list. With the government of Venezuela itself taking away the rights of Venezuelans to defend themselves against criminals and/or corrupt government back in 2014 when it banned then seized weapons across the country, we see in Venezuela all kinds of priceless lessons for preppers.

With the average Venezuelan citizen losing 24 pounds in 2017 while zoo animals and pets were slaughtered by the starving Venezuelan people, a look at Venezuela now absolutely gives us a look at one possible worst-case-scenario for America should Deagel.com be correct in their 2025 forecast for America that shows our nation looking like a mere shell of our former selves within less than 7 years, rapidly approaching the status of a 3rd world nation.

And now we learn that the South American nation of Argentina has raised their interest rates to 40%, what some have warned is another sign of a global system no longer able to support its own weight and heading towards calamity.

And while Venezuela faces a contentious presidential election on May 20th which has seen sitting president Nikolas Maduro threatening an armed revolution should he lose and 'pro-imperialist' candidate Henri Falcon win, the Venezuelan people being disarmed back in 2014 should definitely play a role in who 'wins' or 'loses' any 'revolution'. From the Miami Herald story

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is warning that he’ll take up arms and lead a revolution if a government comes into power that wants to hand the country’s "riches" to “imperialist” forces.

In a campaign speech Wednesday, Maduro — who is hoping to win a new six-year term in a highly questioned May 20 election — accused his nearest opposition rival, Henri Falcón, of wanting to sell the country out to “the gringos.”

“If someday a government was in power that intended to hand over [our] riches, I would be the first one to raise the alarm, grab a gun and start an armed revolution with the people, if necessary,” he told a crowd of supporters in Vargas. “I would be the first one to do it, and call the people to arms.”

His opponent, Falcón, a one-time government supporter turned dissident, is struggling to attract voters who are wary that going to the polls will legitimize a deeply flawed electoral process. And most of the major opposition groups are calling for an outright boycott of the election.

Meanwhile, Maduro warns the opposition that they won't tolerate any violence from them. See how socialism works?

In this new story from Selco over at Survival Dan 101 he reports that in the midst of the Balkan collapse that he survived through  between 1992 and 1995, sometimes he wouldn't have any food to eat for days. From Selco's 'about' page:

My name is Selco and I am from the Balkan region, and as some of you may know it was hell here from 92-95, anyway, for 1 whole year I lived and survived in a city WITHOUT: electricity, fuel, running water, real food distribution, or distribution of any goods, or any kind of organized law or government.

The city was surrounded for 1 year and in that city actually it was SHTF situation. We were all thrown into this and our allies were our enemies from one day to the next. Today I’m prepared but I learned a lot going through this hard time.

As Selco warns us of in the Survival Dan story, as the situation deteriorated where he lived each day, certain things changed about the way he thought about food. Particularly when it was only eaten to 'survive'. With what he lived through in his real life story reminding us of how true the statement "civilization is always only 9 meals away from anarchy" is, showing once again how fortunate we are here in America and "there but for the Amazing Grace of God go we". From the Survival Dan 101 story

Sometimes I did not eat for few days in a row, but at the end, I always managed to get something through a trade or other ways. But many people were not that lucky, I have seen and hear a lot of cases where people died of starvation. It was a question of your strength and brain and some luck to find food.

We're also reminded that government's have long used food as a weapon of war against their people with many warning what is happening now to the Venezuelan people is war upon them via starvation though still not as prevalent as it was in the Soviet famine.

With Rafael Ramirez, the man who used to run Venezuela's state oil industry, now warning the state run oil firm is on the cusp of collapsing hinting at more trouble ahead for the rapidly disintegrating socialist nation, what is happening in Venezuela should be looked at as a dire warning to America, especially for those who still call for socialism here.

And in this recent story over at Zero Hedge we learn that as Venezuela's economy descends in a death spiral, the people of the once so-called 'socialist paradise' have resorted to bartering for just about everything, with a haircut costing 5 bananas and 2 eggs with facebook pages popping up dedicated to swapping everything from toothpaste to baby formula.

With taxi drivers trading rides for cigarettes while restaurant owners trade a taco, burrito or enchilada for a package of napkins, Americans who pay attention to what is now happening in Venezuela can learn priceless lessons in survival.

Why do so many on the left continue to think that socialism is the answer to all of America's problems? As we hear in the first video below from John Stossel, starving Venezuela is funding socialist propaganda for those who speak English, with many Americans 'lapping it up', but very few people know that TeleSUR is run by the tyrannical Venezuelan government.

In fact history gives us one lesson after another about what happens when socialist government's come into power with the reigns of terror carried out by Stalin, Zedong and Hitler being just 3 of the most brutal. So, WHO wants socialism in America? While some aren't completely happy with President Donald Trump so far, imagine the socialist reign of terror upon Christians and Conservatives in America that likely would have been carried out by Hillary Clinton and the left had she been elected.

While here in America, people such as California Democratic congressman Eric Swalwell are calling for a 'total, nationwide assault weapon ban and confiscation' while him saying 'or else' hints at more tyranny ahead in America, Swalwell's call to "go after resisters" hints at civil war ahead though we pray such a thing is avoided and such anti-freedom politicians come to their senses.

In the 2nd video below we hear that the entire health care system in Venezuela is in full-collapse-mode as hospitals are depleted of not only supplies and medications but also staff, another warning to preppers in America to be prepared to survive without needing our medical system which may, or more likely 'not', make it through such a collapse scenario.

In the final video below from Dave and the X22Report, he warns us that the 'day of reckoning' is at hand as more and more signs emerge that the broken system we're living within is about ready to implode upon itself. Also reporting that we here in America can learn many lessons from nations such as Venezuela if we pay attention, the belief held by more than 50% of millenials that socialism is the way America must go hints of many more potential dangers that will come along with socialism are still ahead.
