Over the past few decades we have seen some major changes in the U.S., some good, some bad, and some ugly, but the ugly has increased exponentially since the 2016 presidential election.
We have seen an attack and persecution against religion and those of faith. We have seen the legal definition of marriage change because of a miniscule minority, amplified by the liberal media, screamed the loudest. We have seen an uprising of Satanists.
We have seen the largest of media outlets in America turn from at least pretending to be objective, to becoming outright liberal Democrat activists and making no attempt to hide their blatant liberal bias.
We have seen actually communists and socialists, ideologies that America has fought against for decades, elected as members of congress, largely because our educational system has been infiltrated and have been indoctrinating our nation's children.
There is literally not enough room in one article to describe the amount of bad and downright ugly changes we have seen these past years.
At some point we thought "peak insanity" would have to be reached, we would have to come to a moment in time where things simply cannot get any worse.
One look through recent headlines and we realize we were wrong. Not only can things get crazier, but they are, every single day.
YOU CANNOT MAKE UP THIS LEVEL OF CRAZY
There is not a day that goes by where I do not look through the news and shake my head, wondering how we, as a nation, has gotten to a place where the examples below, are considered "normal" by about half of the country.
With the liberal campaign to "defund the police," we have seen some weird and crazy stuff.
Background: Elected Democrats allowed gangs of thugs to quite literally take over six blocks of territory in Seattle, calling it their "autonomous zone," with the mayor forcing the police precinct in that neighborhood to abandon their building and let the domestic terrorists do whatever they want.
The police were finally allowed to take their streets back, and the lesson one would think was learned was that "abolishing," or "defunding" the police is a losing proposition.
Fast forward to present day: Obviously liberals have a learning disability because they learned nothing and are still trying to "abolish" the police. Another lesson not learned by Democrat leaders is one cannot allow domestic terrorists to take over city blocks, burn buildings, riot and vandalize everything in sight.
Portland, Oregon, home of the domestic terror group Antifa, known for their attacks on innocent bystanders, violence and continuous rioting (47 straight days now), now has their own "autonomous zone."
By the way, this happened after the Trump administration offered federal assistance which was rudely declined by the major, Ted Wheeler, who said his biggest immediate concern was "the violence federal officers brought to our streets in recent days, and the life-threatening tactics … agents use."
So, rioting, attacking people without provocation, vandalizing property and terrorizing innocent citizens, are all okay with Wheeler, but stopping Antifa thugs is treated like a crime.
That ladies and gentlemen is liberal logic 101.
The next example comes via New York, and the Mayor Bill de Blasio, who according to reporter Gloria Pazmino from NY1, has decided that public schools are too dangerous for children to start attending again because of CIVID-19, so instead he has a brilliant idea (Yes, that is sarcasm), to take care of those children.
The @NYCMayor is announcing a plan to provide child care for 100K NYC children in the fall. It will use community centers and organizations, libraries and other space to set up care. The number of spots he says could increase in the fall.
Some might think this is better since those teaching in our educational system indoctrinates children into socialism.
Moving along to another bastion of liberalism, we head over to Berkeley, California, which has decided to remove police from "traffic stops," and replace them with unarmed civilians.
After hours of emotional public testimony and a middle-of-the-night vote by Berkeley leaders, the progressive California city is moving forward with a novel proposal to replace police with unarmed civilians during traffic stops in a bid to curtail racial profiling.
I don't even know where to start breaking this down, but I will give it a shot.
What could go wrong? Well that is explained as well in the article:
“Traffic stops are one of the most unpredictable and therefore dangerous duties of law enforcement. There is no such thing as a routine traffic stop and to perform them effectively and safely takes months of police training in and outside of an academy,” said Frank Merenda, a former New York City Police Department captain who is an assistant professor of criminal justice at Marist College. Philip Stinson, a criminal justice professor at Bowling Green State University, called the idea an “overly simplistic plan that could have deadly consequences for unarmed traffic enforcement officers.” Nine U.S. police officers were killed during traffic stops so far this year, according to data compiled by the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. Six were shot, and three were struck by vehicles.
Allowing civilians to decide who to stop, when and why, is supposed to stop racial profiling?
Or maybe it will make the situation worse if someone like this freaky woman shown below is given that "power."
The examples above are just the tip of the iceberg. I have another 10+ on the notepad I wanted to highlight, and that was just a sample from Wednesday, but this would then be a multiple page article, so I will just list some of the most crazy headlines and/or stories or videos, with links.
This last one is also a wonderful example of liberal logic 1010.
Police were ordered to stand down during the rioting in Minnesota after the death of George Floyd by police, and hundreds of millions of dollars of destruction was simply allowed to happen.
Now, the Minnesota Governor has asked President Trump for federal funding to rebuild their neighborhoods.... the same neighborhoods they handed over to the rioters to destroy.
Another congressman, Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina, praised the Trump administration’s decision to reject Minnesota’s request, placing blame on the local officials who told the police to stand down during the rioting. “Great news! @realDonaldTrump has DENIED Minnesota's disaster request to repair half a billion dollars in damage from the riots,” Duncan tweeted. “Governors and Mayors who ordered police to stand down and watch their cities burn shouldn't get a penny in taxpayer aid!”
The videos below are just more examples of how insane everything has become in 2020, and we still have five-plus months to go!
