AI Is Not Just Causing The Extinction Of The American Workforce, But AI Displacements Are Also Contributing To The Depopulation Agenda As Studies Show Higher Suicide Rates After Job Loss

By Susan Duclos -  All News Pipeline

It is interesting to see the pro-AI (Artificial Intelligence) crowd at the World Economic Forum (WEF) claim that AI will eventually create more jobs that they replace, with absurd calculations that from 2025 to 2030, there will be a "net growth of 7% of total employment, or 78 million jobs."

Extrapolating from the predictions shared by Future of Jobs Survey respondents, on current trends over the 2025 to 2030 period job creation and destruction due to structural labour-market transformation will amount to 22% of today’s total jobs. This is expected to entail the creation of new jobs equivalent to 14% of today’s total employment, amounting to 170 million jobs. However, this growth is expected to be offset by the displacement of the equivalent of 8% (or 92 million) of current jobs, resulting in net growth of 7% of total employment, or 78 million jobs.

This BS claim comes from the WEF's The Future of Jobs Report 2025.

The problem is people are reporting on it like the WEF is some type of accurate source, when in reality, the group is led by a bunch of millionaires and billionaires, who get together annually to discuss how to influence the lives of the global populace, to control or get rid of the "useless eaters," of the world.

They can extrapolate all they want, but the warning signs have been blaring red for decades over AI causing the extinction of the human workforce, with the latest report linked at Steve Quayle's website, with the headline reading "Meta to fire thousands amid AI move."

The measures represent Meta’s largest layoffs since it trimmed 21,000 jobs, nearly a quarter of its workforce, in 2022 and 2023. The company has more than 72,000 employees, according to its most recent quarterly report.

Last week, Zuckerberg announced that Meta plans to replace mid-level engineers with Artificial Intelligence (AI) this year, suggesting that the technology could soon handle much of the coding currently performed by human engineers.

In 2023 BBC offered the most dire of warnings, headlining with "AI could replace equivalent of 300 million jobs - report."

Some key points from that piece.

• The report notes AI's impact will vary across different sectors - 46% of tasks in administrative and 44% in legal professions could be automated but only 6% in construction 4% in maintenance, it says.

It isn't only jobs by human beings being replaced with AI, but the technology also lowers the wages of those humans that are not being displaced.

• "Consider the introduction of GPS technology and platforms like Uber. Suddenly, knowing all the streets in London had much less value - and so incumbent drivers experienced large wage cuts in response, of around 10% according to our research." The result was lower wages, not fewer drivers."

• And if generative AI is like previous information-technology advances, the report concludes, it could reduce employment in the near term.

The key quote, which counters the WEF's unjustified claims is as follows:

The long-term impact of AI, however, was highly uncertain, chief executive of the Resolution Foundation think tank Torsten Bell told BBC News, "so all firm predictions should be taken with a very large pinch of salt".

Emphasis mine.

SCARY STATISTICS.......

Since the data for 2025 hasn't been released yet with it being only January, we see the following scary statistics from 2024.

First from Forbes with the end of year estimates of job cuts in 2024, not solely due to AI, but still an important data point to keep in mind as we look at other statistics below. (Archived link since Forbes is behind a paywall)

Job cuts from U.S.-based companies were the highest they’ve been in 15 years in 2024—with the exception of 2020 job losses spurred by the COVID pandemic—as cuts jumped 5.5% over 2023, with experts blaming rapid technological advancement and shifting economic conditions.

Companies cut 761,358 jobs in 2024, according to a new report from career services firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, with the technology, healthcare and automotive sectors leading the way, though cuts were far more widespread across industries in 2024 compared with 2023.

Now in June of 2024, CNN, not a website often cited by ANP, ran with a headline "AI is replacing human tasks faster than you think."

The stats mentioned in that article:

• More than half (61%) of large US firms plan to use AI within the next year to automate tasks previously done by employees, according to a survey of finance chiefs released Thursday.

• That’s in addition to creative tasks for which some businesses are already relying on ChatGPT and other AI chatbots to assist, including crafting job posts, writing press releases and building marketing campaigns.

• The CFO Survey, a collaboration of Duke and the Atlanta and Richmond Fed banks, found that nearly one in three (32%) firms — large or small — plan to use AI in the next year to complete tasks once done by humans.

• Nearly 60% of all companies (and 84% of large companies) surveyed said that over the past year they have already leaned on software, equipment or technology including AI to automate tasks employees previously did. The survey was conducted between May 13 and June 3.

• The CFO Survey found that companies say they are using automation to increase product quality (58% of firms); increase output (49%), reduce labor costs (47%) and substitute for workers (33%).

In November 2024, the website MS Power User, provided "28 shocking statistics," some of them mentioned above, so we'll highlight the ones we found to be of importance, and readers can click over and read the rest.

Stats mentioned in that article:

• 14% of workers claim to have already lost a job to ‘robots’

• In May 2023, 3,900 US job losses were linked directly to AI.

• Early AI and automation have already driven down wages by up to 70% since 1980

• If it was blue-collar workers that bore the brunt of technology before, it’s educated, white-collar workers making up to $80,000 a year that will be impacted by generative AI.

• 80% of the US workforce will have at least 10% of their tasks affected by AI

• Administrative jobs will be hit the hardest, while manual labor is more safe for now

• 81.6% of digital marketers believe content writers will lose jobs because of AI.

• The Global AI Index is a ranking of 62 countries that have invested in AI, based on analysis, investment, innovation, and implementation. The United States is ranked number 1, followed by China, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Kenya ranks at the bottom of the 62-country list.

BOTTOM LINE.....

As Steve Quayle noted with an SQ note the "extinction of the American workforce is underway."

The statistics provided above prove him to be 100% accurate in his assessment.

Here is another bottom line statistic from a Lancet study in 2015, which was before the Covid lockdowns, business closures, and firings for refusing the experimental Covid jab, where they found "Out of all suicide deaths worldwide, the researchers estimated that 1 in 5 are tied to unemployment."

So it isn't just the extinction of the American workforce, but AI displacements are also contributing to the depopulation agenda because statistics show a higher risk of suicide after job loss.
