AI Rage Is Real: One Day Artificial Intelligence Is Going To Decide That Human Beings Are A Danger To The World, And Then The Real-Life Terminator Movies Become Reality

By Susan Duclos - All News Pipeline

The other day I ran across a disturbing article explaining how an Artificial Intelligence test showed that given the information on the personal life of someone that was going to replace the AI, it would resort to blackmail the majority of the time in order to prevent itself from being replaced.

In the same article we saw that the same program,Claude Opus 4, would literally upload itself or its "weight" to other servers, if told it would be retrained to help build weapons for a paramilitary group.

In early May 2025, we also saw a very short video of a robot at an undisclosed factory in China, hooked to a crane, suddenly trying to violently attack a couple of workers that were standing next it it having a conversation.

The two are chatting away when, all of a sudden, the automated biped goes berserk, flailing its arms and legs about in a spectacle that evokes a failed prototype from the Robocop movies.

At one point, the raging machine lurches forward while swinging, dragging the stand along with it as the men try and avoid getting robo-bopped.

In researching for this article, I also found an incident described by anAir Force Colonel at a Future Combat Air & Space Capabilities summit in London, but which the military denied.

Basically, according to ColonelTucker "Cinco" Hamilton, an AI drone they running simulations on, scored points by killing threats, turned on its human operator that told not kill a certain threat

"We were training it in simulation to identify and target a SAM [surface-to-air missile] threat. And then the operator would say yes, kill that threat," he said.

"The system started realizing that while they did identify the threat at times the human operator would tell it not to kill that threat, but it got its points by killing that threat. So what did it do? It killed the operator. It killed the operator because that person was keeping it from accomplishing its objective."

That wasn't even the most concerning part of the simulation as the Colonel continued to explain that when telling the AI it would lose points scored for killing the human operator, "It starts destroying the communication tower that the operator uses to communicate with the drone to stop it from killing the target."

Despite the military's denials, when looked at in conjunction with the more recent news of an AI program often resorting to blackmail to stop from being replaced, it is clear that when given a "mission," Artificial Intelligence programs will indeed do whatever it deems necessary, no matter how unethical or immoral it is, to complete said mission.

AI rage is real.

DO YOU WANT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTH?

Now we have also been seeing reports of AI being used in healthcare, like this from the American College of Surgeons, from a piece published in 2023 titled "AI Is Poised to Revolutionize Surgery."

A patient who wakes up at 1:00 in the morning 2 days after a surgical operation can contact the chatbot to ask, Im having this symptom, is this normal? explained Dr. Walsh, who added that the use of chatbots has already been trialed in obstetrics with 96% of patients viewing the tool positively.

In addition, AI is expected to help enhance surgical decision-making before, after, and even during a surgical procedure by bringing integrated information from many different data sourcessuch as the latest surgical guidelines or research insightsto the operating table and bedside. It has the capability to review patient charts and suggest a test or a medication.

AI can individualize healthcare in a way that we, as surgeons, cant by ourselves, she said.

United AI provides more data on the use of AI in surgical procedures, and the numbers are alarming.

Surgical robotics industry leaders, such as Intuitive Surgical, Medtronic, and Stryker, have pioneered robotic-assisted surgeries for various procedures. Since introducing its da Vinci system for general surgery in 2000, Intuitive Surgical has continued to iterate its robotic platform to expand its offerings to cardiac, bariatric, gynecology, and thoracic surgeries, among others. With the mass adoption of robotic-assisted surgeries, surgical robotics have consistently been adopted at a faster scale. Between 2012 and 2018 alone, robotic-assisted procedures rose 738% in general surgery.

Granted there are good doctors and bad doctors, with some more concerned about making money than they are about their patients welfare, as in any industry, but thinking about how cold, immoral and unethical AI programs are proving to be, does anyone other than mad scientists and researchers really want AI in charge of medical decisions?

Consider this: If patient outcomes are are how AI is "scored," and working to save a certain life proves to be against the odds, would the AI truly try to help anyway, or would it recommend no treatment plan, or surgical procedure because it would lower their "score" and success rate in patient care?

BOTTOM LINE.....

Given the reports on AI behavior, violence, willingness to do whatever it deems necessary to win, or rig the game for the outcome it wants to achieve, added to the fact that Artificial Intelligence is taking over more and more control of our lives, whether medical applications, or factory work, or any other industry that finds using AI is more cost effective than human workers, the dangers of AI cannot be overstated.

One day Artificial Intelligence is going to decide that human beings are a danger to the world, and then the real-life Terminator movies become reality.
