President Trump Gives TikTok Another Extension, Ordering His Administration To Further Review How To Protect Americans From Chinese Spying

On January 20, 2025, President Trump signed�EO 14166�ordering an extension for the enactment of�Public Law 118-50, Div H�138 Stat 955 to 960 so the Trump Administration could investigate the issue and determine the appropriate action(s) to take to save a platform in use by more that 170 million Americans. The original extension was for 75 days. On April 4, 2025,�EO 14258�further extended the time through June 19, 2025. Then on On June 19, 2025, President Trump signed�EO�Further Extending the TikTok Enforcement Delay�giving his Administration until September 17, 2025 to review what actions need to be taken to protect Americans who use the TikTok social media platform. In this EO, the Attorney General is instructed to take no action and impose no penalties while�EO 14166�is being enacted.

On June 18, 2025, the White House released an article�The One Big Beautiful Bill Is Good for All 50 States�announcing that the OBBB would be an economic windfall for working middle-class Americans. The articled provides a state-by-state analysis on how much Americans would benefit from the OBBB in tax cuts as well as higher wages & take home pay.
