One Big Beautiful Bill Passes House, First Lady Speaks At Senate Spouses Luncheon, Unleashing Law Enforcement, Another Activist Judge, South African President Ramaphosa, and G20 & More

First Lady Melania Trump delivered keynote remarks today at the Senate Spouses Luncheon at the National Gallery of Art. In her address, Mrs. Trump emphasized the importance of empathy, public service, and unity in advancing the well-being of children and youth.

Speaking to a distinguished audience of wives and husbands of United States Senators, Mrs. Trump highlighted the recent achievements of her BE BEST platform and reaffirmed her commitment to its cornerstone initiative, Fostering the Future. These efforts include the bipartisan passage of the �Take It Down Act,� signed into law on Monday, May 19, 2025, and a $25 million investment secured in the President�s Fiscal Year 2026 budget to support youth transitioning out of foster care.

Good afternoon, everyone. Thank you, Jonathan, Julie, Sandy, and Margaret, for your kind introductions and for the warm welcome I�ve received today. I�m grateful to all of you for your contributions to Fostering the Future, a cornerstone of the BE BEST initiative.

As we gather here today, we stand not only as partners of elected officials but as influential advocates capable of inspiring change and advancing vital issues. Let us harness our collective power to uplift others and remain dedicated to shaping a brighter future for the next generation, who will lead us forward.

At the core of our gathering is the understanding that empathy and public service are not merely ideals; they are fundamental actions. They manifest in bipartisan laws that protect children from exploitation. They are evident in budgetary choices that prioritize the needs of vulnerable young adults. And they flourish in our communities and homes, where compassionate leaders leverage their talents and resources to enhance the well-being of our children.

I am proud to share that, in collaboration with Secretary Turner at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Office of Management and Budget, I successfully secured a $25 million investment in the President�s Fiscal Year 2026 budget aimed at supporting youth transitioning out of foster care. This dedicated funding will provide rental assistance and vital services, fostering stability, independence, and hope for thousands of young people across our Nation.

This investment represents a significant milestone in my BE BEST initiative and underscores my unwavering commitment to Fostering the Future�because every child deserves a solid foundation upon which to build their dreams.

However, our efforts must extend beyond this achievement. Just two days ago, I stood alongside the President in the Rose Garden as he signed the �Take It Down Act� into law. That moment was not only powerful but deeply emotional�culminating years of dedication from survivors, advocates, families, and many of your spouses in the Senate, all working tirelessly to shield children and youth from harmful online content.

The overwhelming bipartisan support for this legislation serves as a testament to what we can accomplish when we unite in the interest of our children. Together, we have equipped families with essential tools to safeguard their self-image and dignity in a digital landscape that often neglects these fundamental aspects.

As we move forward, let us continue to lead with empathy, foster collaboration, and create environments where all children feel safe and empowered. In our roles as spouses, mothers, and fathers, we embody a formidable force for good.

I recently shared with military mothers at the White House: through our unwavering love and nurturing wisdom, we possess the ability to inspire, uplift, and shape the hearts of our children.

This power, rooted in compassion and strength, is a beacon of hope that illuminates the path for generations to come.

When a Senator�s vision aligns with truth, the impact can resonate for generations. Throughout history, American lawmakers have shaped security, prosperity, and civil liberties. Congress wields significant influence over the nation�s character, starting with the preservation of human dignity. It is vital for us, as our spouses� greatest supporters, to reaffirm the importance of truth and integrity.

Instead of addressing her speech, the press either ignored this event entirely or simply commented on the First Lady's appearance as in the video below. While I agree that Melania Trump�dresses impeccably, is beautiful, and is a wonderful representative of our country as First Lady, she is more than her physical appearance or the clothes she wears. She speaks 5 languages, has her own successful business, and is highly intelligent.

This will "empower law enforcement to do their jobs, relentlessly pursue criminals, and protect innocent citizens."

Many Law Enforcement officers were present for the signing of this EO. One of them was a Sheriff, Chris West, from Canadian County, Oklahoma. This Sheriff was recently stopped by a motorcycle officer for speeding in a nearby Oklahoma county. The officer recognized him and decided to write him a warning. The Sheriff did not agree.�

The Institute for Justice found Sheriff Chris West potentially abusing the Civil Asset Forfeiture law. ANP published an article April 1, 2025�Your Paper Currency Is Contaminated With Drugs Making It Subject to Confiscation By Law Enforcement Under The Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act Of 2000 Public Law 106-185�discussing this law and how it is applied when you carry cash. In the case of Sheriff Chris West, Institute for Justice found his county to be a civil asset forfeiture haven.

I don't think President Trump meant for his EO to allow Law Enforcement "get out of jail free cards" when they violate the law or violate your Constitutional Rights.

It�s another attempt by a far-left activist judge to dictate the foreign policy of the United States � and protect the violent criminal illegal immigrants President Donald J. Trump and his administration have removed from our streets.

�We conducted a deportation flight from Texas to remove some of the most barbaric, violent individuals illegally in the United States. No country on earth wanted to accept them because their crimes are so uniquely monstrous and barbaric � Thanks to the courageous work of the State Department and ICE and the President�s national security team, we found a nation that was willing to accept custody of these vicious illegal aliens,� said Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

�As a career law enforcement officer and a career officer with ICE, I�ve been dealing with these recalcitrant countries for years � having to see repeated murders, sex offenders, violent criminals re-released back into the United States because their home countries would not take them back,� said Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons. �Under President Trump and under the leadership of Secretary Noem, we are now able to remove these public safety threats so they won�t prey on the community anymore.�

Here are the criminal illegal immigrant monsters the activist judge is trying to protect:

• Enrique Arias-Hierro, a citizen of Cuba. He has convictions for homicide, armed robbery, strongarm robbery, kidnapping, and false impersonation of an official. He was arrested by ICE on May 2, 2025.
• Jose Manuel Rodriguez-Quinones, a citizen of Cuba. He has convictions for attempted first degree murder with a weapon, battery, larceny, cocaine possession, and cocaine trafficking. He was arrested by ICE on April 30, 2025.
• Thongxay Nilakout, a citizen of Laos. He has convictions for first-degree murder and robbery. He was arrested by ICE on January 26, 2025.
• Jesus Munoz-Gutierrez, a citizen of Mexico. He has a conviction for second-degree murder. He was arrested by ICE on May 12, 2025.
• Dian Peter Domach, a citizen of South Sudan. He has convictions for robbery, possession of a firearm, possession of burglar�s tools, possession of a defaced firearm, and driving under the influence. He was arrested by ICE on May 8, 2024.
• Kyaw Mya, a citizen of Burma. He has a conviction for lascivious acts with a child victim less than 12 years of age. He was arrested by ICE on February 18, 2025.
• Nyo Myint, a citizen of Burma. He has a conviction for first-degree sexual assault involving a victim mentally and physically incapable of resisting and has also been charged with aggravated assault (non-family strongarm). He was arrested by ICE on February 19, 2025.
• Tuan Thanh Phan, a citizen of Vietnam. He has convictions for first-degree murder and second-degree assault. He was arrested by ICE on May 3, 2025.

�A local judge in Massachusetts is trying to force the United States to bring back these uniquely barbaric monsters who present a clear and present threat to the safety of the American people and American victims. While we are fully compliant with the law and court orders, it is absolutely absurd for a district judge to try and dictate the foreign policy and national security of the United States of America,� said Assistant Secretary McLaughlin.

Today, President Donald J. Trump showed the world the shocking treatment of white farmers in South Africa � including with a video montage that highlighted the discrimination and violence targeted at the innocent minority victims. President Trump was exactly right. �We left because of the attacks. You can�t stay on a farm as a white person in South Africa. You know you�ll be killed,� said one South African refugee.

• �The political rally was winding down when the brash leader of a leftist South African party grabbed the microphone and began to stomp and chant. Thousands of supporters joined in, and when he reached the climax, they pointed their fingers in the air like guns. �Kill the Boer!� Julius Malema chanted, referring to white farmers. The crowd in a stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday roared back in approval.�

During the press conference, President Ramaphosa officially invited President Trump to attend the Group of Twenty (G20) conference to be held in South Africa in December 2025. President Ramaphosa said he wants to turn over leadership of G20 to President Trump at the December meeting.

This is an interesting development because Secretary Rubio had already stated that President will not be attending the G20 summit in South Africa.

The Group of Twenty (G20) South Africa website tells us that G20

is an international forum of both developing and developed countries which seeks to find solutions to global economic and financial issues. he G20 comprises 19 countries including: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, T�rkiye, United Kingdom, and United States and two regional bodies, namely the European Union and the African Union. . . . The G20 does not have a permanent secretariat or staff. Instead, the G20 Presidency rotates annually among the members. The G20 Presidency is responsible for bringing together the G20 agenda in consultation with other members and in response to developments in the global economy. To ensure continuity, the Presidency is supported by a �troika� made up of the current, immediate past and next host countries.�

Inception of the G20�

It was founded in 1999 after the Asian financial crisis of 1997 � 1998 as an informal forum for the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the most important industrialised and developing economies to discuss international economic and financial stability.�The forum initially focused largely on broad macroeconomic issues, but it has since expanded its agenda to inter-alia include trade, climate change, sustainable development, health, agriculture, energy, environment, climate change, and anti-corruption.�It comprises 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, T�rkiye, United Kingdom, and United States) and two regional bodies, namely the European Union (EU) and African Union (AU).�The G20 members represent around 85% of the global Gross Domestic Product, over 75% of the global trade, and about two-thirds of the world population.
