Many books have been written over the centuries but some so accurately described events that would occur decades later, one would think those writers had a crystal ball that actually worked.
We have heard that art imitates life, with some swearing life was truly imitating art. In reality some writers were just so in tune with the world, so observant of what was happening around them, that they were able to project a future, if the path continued in the direction they were observing it moving in.
George Orwell's "1984", Skousen's "Naked Communist," and Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged," all written nearly or more than 50 years ago, and all eerily describing the world we live in now, the political rhetoric and games played in America, and the hysteria we are witnessing in the 21st century.
We have written about many of these books and their content individually, but thinking of them together, it is as if some writers actually "saw" the fall of America and put these works out as warnings.... ones we obviously ignored if we look at this nation in present day.
MANY, MANY OF THE COMMUNIST GOALS ARE COMPLETE
We have written before about written works such as the "The Naked Communist," which described the 45 communist goals to take over America, written by Cleon W. Skousen, and resonated so soundly to those watching the national and world events at the time, that a Congressman, Honorable A.S. Herlong, read those goals into the official congressional record in 1963.
While a few of those goals are outdate, specifically those referencing Russia, the amount of those goals already accomplished, right here in America, are shocking.
We'll list some as examples focusing largely on actions taken within the United States to turn the country into a communist/socialist nation, but the entire list can be read at this link.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, and substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms instead”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand.
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.
Those 30 that have already been accomplished in America do not even include those such as accepting free trade with communist nations, such as China, because as expressed earlier I was focusing on internal actions, laws, proposals, and changes in America, since the book was written and the goals were read into the congressional record.
WE NOW LIVE IN ORWELL'S DYSTOPIAN WORLD
Another writer and book we have written about is George Orwell's "1984," which the "political party in the United States" that has accepted and in fact embraced communism (Examples: Senator Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are both admitted socialist), somehow seemed to think was an instruction manual rather than a work of fiction.
Telescreens and facial recognition is just one example of the technical predictions Orwell made, but the "dystopian" mindset and "big brother" control of the masses, is horrifyingly accurate, those types of technological advances are used today to control and surveil the masses.
Thought Police, Big Brother Is Watching You, Ministry of Truth controlling news reports/newspapers, and rewriting history, masculinity labeled as "toxic," changing definitions of words and punishing those that won't comply, newspeak.. just to name a few things that parallel Orwell's writings.
One writer gave a basic description of Orwell's predictions, which is succinct but spot on, stating "The society portrayed in “1984” is one in which social control is exercised through disinformation and surveillance."
Government disinformation, and government surveillance to be more clear.
A great list was put together by a Twitter users, then reported at Zero hedge and other publications, and a number of them are listed below, with the full "definitive" list founds at The Liberty Beacon.
• People saying 2+2=4 is some sort of “racist math” washingtonexaminer.com/news/math-prof… Statements that everyone knows are true (e.g., men and women are biologically different) have become “unsayable”
• The ubiquitous presence of technology that delivers you content but mainly serves to spy on you
• Newspeak, the Party language in 1984, designed to eliminate critical thinking, free will, personal identity, self-expression, and descriptions of objective reality
Example: Political correctness, resulting in dehumanizing language like “bodies with vaginas” for “women”
• The Newspeak tactic of renaming words/phrases so that disagreement is hard
• Memory-holing,” where the controlling government effectively erases a person, word, or event from history
• The Party changing the status quo in real time, then acting like it’s always been this way....
Example: Biden saying in 2020 that vaccines won’t be mandatory (bbc.com/news/world-us-…), then making them mandatory for millions in 2021
• Tiered society: the elitist Inner Party on top, then the Outer Party, then the Proles; the Inner Party have special privileges and exemptions from rules
• Doublethink/speak (phrases that are obviously false but stated as true): “FREEDOM IS SLAVERY; IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.”
Examples: “My body, my choice” applying to abortion rights but not vaccine mandates; feminists who “support women’s sports” but see no problem with people who’ve lived 30+ years as biological males competing in said sports. See: Transgender Weightlifter makes history at the Olympics.
• The Ministry of Truth, “which concerned itself with news, entertainment, education and the fine arts” & puts out propaganda
Examples: The too-close relationship between big tech, the media, and the government and their fight against “misinformation,” AKA whatever ideas they dislike; The media/big tech declaring that story about Hunter Biden’s laptop wasn’t true when it was; the same declaring Russiagate was true when it wasn’t;
• Indoctrination of children so that they become spies who turn in their parents for “wrongthink”
Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" is another described as being set in a "dystopian," world.
From the first page on it feels as if the book was written yesterday rather than published in the 1950s, other than the lack of technological advances, the economy, the mood, the political maneuvering against the "rich" and wealthy, the rhetoric, all seems like she knew what was coming and spent more than 1,100 pages trying to warn America
From the mindset of people should be paid according to "need" rather than competence or ability, to the "wrongthink," to the ridiculously named 'acts" put into law by national legislature (the new name for Congress), all of which, and more, resulting in a communistic-like America.
In 2015, Fox News published an op-ed which posed questions, two of which carry the exact "feel" of the book:
......How could she have anticipated, more than 50 years ago, a United States spinning out of financial control, plagued by soaring spending and crippling regulations?
How could she have painted villains who seem ripped from today’s headlines?
She spoke of the devolving economy, the widespread outages we see, and the business failures and closures, among many other eerily accurate predictions.
The interesting thing is Ayn Rand did not write Atlas Shrugged as a "political" novel, yet liberals/democrats hate this book with a passion, and many conservatives agree with the mindset of the "heroes and heroine."
The belief that you work for what you earn, and be able to keep what you earned, with taxes being nothing more than legal robbery. We know which party loves taxes.
The mindset that "need" is not an appropriate guide as to who is hired for what jobs, ability is.
Gold should be the standard, not worthless paper.
Businesses are created and ran to make money, not bailout a government that seems hell-bent on destroying the entire economy to the point of collapse.
Government should be small, limited, not controlling little aspect of life.
I could go on, but the parties are clear, yet the book was not political... just very predictive of what we are witnessing today.

“You have cried that man’s sins are destroying the world and you have cursed human nature for its unwillingness to practice the virtues you demanded. Since virtue, to you, consists of sacrifice, you have demanded more sacrifices at every successive disaster.”
“You have sacrificed justice to mercy.”
"You have sacrificed wealth to need"
"You have sacrificed self-esteem to self-denial."
"You have sacrificed happiness to duty"
The result? “Why . . . do you shrink in horror from the sight of the world around you? That world is not the product of your sins, it is the product and the image of your virtues. It is your moral ideal brought into reality . . .”
COMMUNISM IS THE COMMONALITY
There are many other books that described a "dystopian" America, but these are adequate for the pattern to be seen.
Communism is the commonality in all the aforementioned books/movies.
The writers of "The Naked Communist," "1984," and "Atlas Shrugged" all saw the communism that was taking over "one or more of the political parties" in the United States, and brought us to the natural conclusion of communism.... the death of a nation, and its people, the economic downfall, the "big brother" mentality, the indoctrination of children into communism and socialism within public schools.
The saw it all somehow, and now we are living them all out in real time.
