On April 10, 2026, the White House published the release Democrats Empower Sick Criminal Illegal Alien Predators to Prey on American Women, Children as President Trump and his Administration move to deport those in our country illegally, starting with the ones who have been charged with committing dangerous crimes (such as rape and murder). The release provides a list of 10 examples of depraved illegal alien killers, rapists, and violent sexual predators arrested by the Trump Administration after they were released into our communities to commit even more crime rather than being turned over to National Immigration & Customs Enforcement (NICE) Officers. They came into our country illegally from Honduras, Sierra Leone, Mexico, and Guatemala. Why were these dangerous criminals let back into our communities after being caught and charged with heinous crimes? Democratic policies of "catch-and-release," open borders agenda, and sanctuary cities/counties/states where they have decided it is OK to ignore Federal law.
We keep hearing about the "Dignity" Act, yet I had not seen anything by this terminology. Like the SAVE America Act, the "Dignity" Act is actually called something else: the "DIGNIDAD" Act. "DIGNIDAD" is the Spanish word for "dignity." Seems to me that back on March 1, 2025, President Trump signed EO 14224 Designating English as the Official Language of The United States. This EO was published in the FR on March 6, 2025.
Section 1 states that historically, since the founding of our Republic, English has been used as our National language. All of our founding and historical documents have been written in English. This EO makes the fact that our Nation was founded in the English language as a National language official. The US is strengthened when its citizenry can freely exchange ideas in one shared language. This EO designates English as the official language of the US.
Section 2 defines "Agency" and "Agency Head."
Section 3 officially designates English as the Official Language of the US. EO 13166 Improving Access to Services for Persons with Limited English Proficiency signed August 11, 2000 is revoked (although Agency Heads can determine if services provided are necessary for the Agency's mission). The AG is directed to rescind policy guidance documents pursuant to EO 13166 and replace it with updated guidance.
So what has happened? A US Congressional Representative decided to submit a bill whose title is in Spanish NOT English? And what does this bill do?
The HR4393 - "DIGNIDAD" Act was introduced by Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL-27) on July 15, 2025. A total of 39 Representatives have signed on to co-sponsor this bill (19 Republicans and 20 Democrats). The bill was referred to 7 House Committees on July 15, 2025: Judiciary, Homeland Security, Ways & Means, Transportation & Infrastructure, Education & Workforce, Oversight & Government Reform, and Armed Services. There have been no amendments made for this bill.
This bill has multiple titles by which it can be called:

DIGNIDAD (Dignity) Act of 2025
Dignity for Immigrants while Guarding our Nation to Ignite and Deliver the American Dream Act of 2025
Section 1 - This Act may be cited as the “Dignity for Immigrants while Guarding our Nation to Ignite and Deliver the American Dream Act of 2025” or as the “DIGNIDAD (Dignity) Act of 2025”. Section 1 also contains the Table of Contents:
Division B Title III is the title that makes all those illegal aliens who were allowed into the US by the Autopen Administration (continually present in the US since December 31, 2020) "legal" unless they meet the "grounds of ineligibility" criterion. The first "ineligibility" criterion is "the alien has been convicted of - (A) any felony offense. This means the illegal alien would have to have been "convicted" of violating Immigration Law by entering the country illegally. How does an illegal alien "prove" they have been in the US continually since December 31, 2020?
And let's talk about criminal offenses that illegal aliens incur. First, they violate Federal Immigration Law by entering our country illegally. Then add if the illegal alien works while being in the US, they have violated another aspect of Federal Immigration Law. And, if they are working, they are likely NOT paying taxes on their earnings because they do not have permission to work and are therefore being paid "under the table" in cash. If they are not generating an income by working, then how do they live here? Theft? It's not just one law the illegal aliens break. It is multiple laws. And if they are willing to break multiple laws, what makes anyone think they will be 'good, law abiding citizens' if they are allowed to stay?
There is no way that any of this is "fair" to US Citizens or Legal Immigrants.
As far as I, and many others, are concerned it is time to put a halt to all forms of immigration for the next 50-100 years so we can remove all those who do not belong here.
April 10, 2026 makes Day 55 of the Democrat's Partial Federal Government Shutdown. DHS is still not funded and many are still working without paychecks (how long could you go without receiving a pay check?). So what are Congressional Representatives doing? Trying to give illegals amnesty (well, in all honesty, they've been trying since July 15, 2025, we are just now learning about it - see above section on HR4393). The House is due back in session on April 13, 2026.

On April 10, 2026, the FR published the Presidential Document Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Somalia which was signed April 8, 2026 then sent straight to the FR for publication. This document explains Somalia remains an extraordinary threat to the National Security and foreign policy of the US. The situation in Somalia continues to deteriorate while violence increases. Therefore, the national emergency first declared on April 12, 2010 by EO 13536 is continued for another year.
Declare that the PRA is constitutional, that the OLC Opinion is contrary to law and cannot be relied upon by Defendants, and that Defendants remain bound by the requirements of the PRA.
Declare unlawful, vacate, set aside, postpone the effective date of, and enjoin NARA’s decisions not to comply with all of the PRA’s requirements of NARA.
Compel NARA, pursuant to 5 U.S.C. § 706(1), to proactively make such records publicly available, in accordance with the PRA’s requirements.
Enjoin Defendants from relying on the OLC Opinion or otherwise treating the PRA as non-binding, and to comply with their mandatory duties under the PRA.
Enjoin the individual Defendants, other than President Trump in his official capacity, to disclose to the Court any known instances in which the President destroys, converts for personal use, or otherwise fails to maintain Presidential records as required by the PRA.

Interesting that these same organizations did not complain when Biden took confidential documents home with him when he was in Congress as well as when he was VP. And those documents were found in unsecured locations (closet of his office at the University and in a cardboard box in his garage at home).
On April 10, 2026, Artemis II returned to earth from its mission to travel beyond the moon and back. They landed in the Pacific Ocean (near San Diego) without incident.

As we commemorate 250 glorious years of American independence, it is especially fitting that we honor a statesman whose legacy is one of strength, vision, patriotism, and an unshakable belief in the greatness of the American Republic. Our country is strengthened by the memory of great statesmen who, like Henry Clay, devoted their lives to public service and led our people through times of both hardship and triumph.
In honor of this American titan, and to celebrate his pivotal role in the story of our Nation, I am proud to direct the White House Office of Administration to redesignate Room 208 of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, the historic office of the Secretary of State, as the Henry Clay Room.
As we remember the life and contributions of Henry Clay, we carry forward his unshakable belief in the promise of America and honor the timeless example of a patriot who always placed country above self. May his memory always inspire each new generation of Americans to greatness, and may the Union he worked so mightily to preserve stand tall, united, and strong for centuries to come.
