Over the past few weeks, as many states start implementing the MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) changes to food stamps, and the use of EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer), for snack foods, people have been taking to YouTube, TikTok and other social media platforms to bitterly complain, and in some cases having actual meltdowns.
I am not talking about those in need, but rather able-bodied women, refusing to work or even do the basic 15-30 hours a week community service in order to get food stamps. Women with multiple children, driving fancy cars, living off of Section 8 housing, and taking their complaints online, somehow expecting others to feel bad for them.
The sense of entitlement you will hear below from some of these people are exactly why the Trump administration is attempting to weed out those committing fraud and abuse, which will allow for those truly in need, those disabled, or retired, to get the help they need, while making those not disabled, or retired, or handicapped, work in order to receive state or federal benefits.
On one hand some of the meltdowns are entertaining, yet on the other hand, when hearing how much money these able-bodied people were getting in benefits, paid for by the tax dollars of hardworking Americans, it is infuriating.
Language warning for the videos shown below. A couple of the videos do include duplicate clips, but each has new content as well and well worth the time it takes to watch them.
The first video has commentary from the creator regarding the clips she has compiled, and adds a little common sense to the radically extreme nonsense we are hearing from those complaining about not being able to get cakes, chips, soda pop, and other non-nutritional foods. Such as, you can still eat your Doritos, just pay for them yourself.
Another compilation video below, with more common sense commentary from the creator, again seemingly shocked at how hard it is for these 'welfare queens and kings' to understand that no one is telling these recipients that they cannot have a Snickers, soda pop or sugary foods, they are simply saying if you want that type of junk food, pay for it yourself, don't use taxpayer money to do so.
One of the running themes I have noticed in researching these videos, watching each one over the course of the past days, is the insistence that it is "the taxpayers job to pay for my kids to eat and for my kids to be taken care of." That is a direct quote from the video below from a woman at the 2:01 minute mark. The she says she has over 2,000 followers on TikTok and she can't get one person to send her 50 cents. She follows up by saying if people are watching the videos she makes and won't sent her money, she is going to block them. She claims her kids haven't eaten in 5 days, and it is the taxpayers "responsibility" to take care of her kids.
In the next video a woman complains that she was expected to pay out of pocket, not using her EBT card, for "cakes, donuts, soda pop, energy drinks, 8 bags of chips." Another person is upset that their EBT card isn't being accepted at a fast food restaurant.
One of the clips in the next video has a woman informing the audience that she is going to continue to buy her luxuries other think about while the "government pay my rent," continue to "go on trips" and do things her and her kids love to do while "y'all struggle to pay a grocery bill, and I'm swiping my EBT card."
The next woman says she is a single mother of 9 kids from "5 different baby daddies", and is complaining that her food stamps were cut from $3,000 a month to just $800.
The clips after those are even worse... watch for yourself.
BOTTOM LINE.....
Many of the people you see in the compilation videos above, and below, have fake nails, which cost money, fake eye lashes, and fancy hairdos, yet they are complaining about not having money to feed their children because the amount of taxpayer money on their EBT cards monthly has been lowered.
One of the best things the Trump administration is doing right now, is kicking those that have spent years, decades even gaming the system, committing fraud and abuse, right off the government, or to phrase it more accurately, the taxpayer teat.
