The Telegraph reports that according to Google statistics there are 200,000 searches each month for the Loch Ness Monster and approximately 120,000 search engine inquiries for information on accommodation close to the Loch Ness, where the elusive, and some would say mythical, cryptid dubbed "Nessie," is said to have been spotted, with strange stories from those that claimed to see Nessie have been circulating since 1933, according Wiki.
Well, Google has joined the search. Utilizing divers and local experts, Google has taken their Street View cameras to the Loch Ness and one specific image caught the Telegraph Travelers eye.
"We were surprised by this sighting too," said a Google spokesperson, when we pointed out a strange, lumpen object floating on the loch's surface. "Is it a log, a bird or... the monster?!
While no one has ever been able to prove or disprove the existence of Nessie, travelers from across the globe contine hunt and local stories abound. This image in no way proves or disproves those stories, but it is guaranteed to have Nessie fans talking as shown with this new image and project by Google, the online hunt for Loch Ness Monster is their top trending search term with over 500,000 searchs on April 20, 2015.
