Let me name the victim here: Iryna Zarutska, a 23 year old white female refugee from Ukraine in 2022, was murdered on August 22, 2025 about 10pm while riding public transportation. In 2020, then-Governor Roy Cooper established the “Task Force for Racial Equity in Criminal Justice” — co-chaired by then-Attorney General and current Governor Josh Stein — which recommended “reimagining public safety” to “promote diversion and other alternatives to arrest,” “deemphasize” some felony crimes, prioritize “restorative justice,” and “eliminate cash bail” for many crimes.
Mecklenburg County hired ”equity and inclusion consultants” to address “racial disparities at all levels of the justice system” and its “Office of Equity and Inclusion” lists reducing “racial disparities and disproportionality within the criminal justice system” as among its goals.
In 2020, Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings said “law enforcement, in general, is based on racism” and their department can “probably slow down” on “discretionary arrests.”

On September 8, 2025, the White House published the article President Trump Champions Religious Freedom, Unveils America Prays summarizing President Trump's address at the Religious Liberty Commission meeting held in the new Museum of the Bible (video of the entire address is included below). During this address, the President launched his "America Prays" initiative calling for Americans to unite together in prayer for our nation and its people asking for people to "rededicate ourselves to one nation under God." The America Prays initiative:
🙏 Asks 'What if one million Americans dedicated one hour a week to praying for our country and our people?' 🙏 Invites you to join with at least 10 people to meet each week for one hour to pray for America. 🙏 States this is an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the principles that gave birth to this land of liberty. As George Washington famously said in his Farewell Address, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.” 🙏 This dedicated time of prayer is not only for our nation, but for its people because a nation is only as strong as its citizens.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
🙏 Organize prayer times by subject (cultural renewal, protection of freedom, family, etc.) 🙏 Have a weekly prayer challenge where each member commits to pray daily for a specific issue or person. 🙏 Pray for individuals in your community by name. 🙏 Join online communities of prayer (remember that ANP has it's own Prayer Request Line)

In the lawsuit Abramowitz v. Lake docket # 1:25-cv-00887 filed in District Court, District of Columbia on March 26, 2025 about the Dismantling of Voice of America (VOA) a partial summary judgement for the plaintiff was granted on August 28, 2025. The lawsuit was seeking the following relief: 1) Issue a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, and permanent injunction; 2) Declare that defendants’ actions requiring VOA to cease operations, placing virtually all VOA employees on administrative leave, and terminating 500 fulltime personal contract employees are unlawful; 3) Order defendants to cancel their orders putting approximately 1,300 VOA employees on administrative leave, cancel the termination of personal services contracts with approximately 500 employees, cease dismantling Voice of America, and restore VOA’s personnel and operating capacities such that the entities may continue their broadcasting activities at the level before the above actions were taken; 4) Award Plaintiffs their reasonable fees, costs, expenses, including attorneys’ fees; and 5) Grant such other relief as the Court deems necessary, just, and proper. In the partial summary judgement Judge Royce C Lamberth ordered: Defendants are hereby ENJOINED from removing Plaintiff Abramowitz from his position as director of Voice of America without the approval of a majority of the International Broadcasting Advisory Board. See 22 USC § 6205(e)(1)-(2). Filed August 28, 2025. On August 29, 2025, Defendants filed a Notice of Appeal to which the plaintiffs filed a Motion to Stay Pending Appeal to allow Judge Lamberth's order to remain in place. On September 2, 2025, Judge Lambert denied the request for stay by the defendants (of course he did, why would he not stay his own order?).
In the lawsuit Trump v. Global Health Council, et. al docket # 25A227 filed in the Supreme Court of the United States on August 26, 2025 appealing docket # 25-5098 and 25-5097 (original docket #s 1:25-cv-00400 and 1:25-cv-00402) about the Dismantling of USAID the appeal was withdrawn. The appeal concludes: This Court should stay the district court’s preliminary injunction requiring the government to make available for obligation the full amount of the funds Congress appropriated in the 2024 Appropriations Act. In addition, the Solicitor General respectfully requests an administrative stay of the district court’s order pending the Court’s consideration of this application and respectfully requests either an administrative stay or a decision on this application by September 2, 2025. The appendix to the appeal provides additional legislative history for the case. In the notice of withdrawal, it cites the reason for withdrawal of the appeal as: [on] August 28, the court of appeals amended its opinion, denied rehearing en banc, and issued its mandate, thereby giving effect to the vacatur of the preliminary injunction. With the injunction lifted, the President then swiftly transmitted proposed rescissions to Congress under the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, 2 U.S.C. 681 et seq. See 25-cv-402 D. Ct. Doc. 129 (Aug. 29, 2025). In light of those developments, the United States withdraws its August 26 stay application in this Court.

Liberty isn't just won on battlefields, it must be nurtured in daily life.
Today's Patriot is Lewis Morris III who was born April 8, 1726 at the family homestead "Morrisania" in the Province of New York (now Bronx County, New York). He was 2nd born of 4 children, and half-brother to 3 siblings from his father's second marriage. All 7 survived to adulthood. He was one of 2 Patriots to sign the Declaration of Independence who had Dutch ancestry through his mother.
In 1769, Lewis began his political career when he was elected to the New York Legislature. In May 1775, he was elected to attend the Second Continental Congress. He was not present for the Declaration of Independence vote; however, he did attend the New York Convention on July 9, 1776 where the Declaration was approved, returning to Philadelphia to sign the document, even though his family members (like brother Gouverneur) warned him he could lose everything because British troops were nearby. It is said Lewis replied, "Damn the consequences, give me the pen." He served in the Second Continental Congress until 1777.
In 1775, he negotiated with Indians to make "common cause" against the British while at Fort Pitt. During the war, he was a Major General of the New York State Militia. Like many of the signers, his homestead was burned and looted by the British. His family was evacuated to Connecticut by General George Washington's troops.
Lewis died January 22, 1798, at age 72, at the family homestead Morrisania, Bronx County, New York. He was interred in the Morris Crypt at Saint Ann's Episcopal Church Graveyard, Mott Haven, Bronx County, New York.
Those are some of the exact words used by Google’s censors, aka 'Orwellian content police,' in describing many of our controversial stories. Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
