If The American Flag Is So Triggering To The Left, Then They Should Get A One Way Ticket Out Of The Country And Not Let The Door Hit Them Where The Good Lord Split Them
Over the years we have seen a number of incidents showing the hate some people living right here in the good old U.S. of A, have for our nations symbol of America, the American flag.
In June 2023, we saw reports with absurd claims that the American flag is a "source of fear and anxiety," with a Marquette Professor saying he feels "anxious" when see old glory.
“I also get a little bit anxious around the excessive imagery of the flag in part because in my experience, patriotism quickly slips into nationalism,” associate professor of philosophy at Marquette Dr. Grant Silva said in an interview published on Flag Day.
“Especially the simplistic version of patriotism, the flag waving, my country love it or leave it kind of attitude. That is just a hop, skip and a jump away from becoming nationalism,” he said.
My first question at the time was "What is wrong with nationalism?"
Via Britannica: - nationalism, ideology based on the premise that the individual’s loyalty and devotion to the nation-state surpass other individual or group interests.
By that definition, shouldn't every single person in America be nationalists? Unless of course you hate the U.S., and if that is the case, those people should move elsewhere.
In May 2024, some liberal guy on a beach became triggered by seeing American flags on the beach. despite calling it "my flag," he automatically assumes anyone else flying old glory must be "white nationalist extremists."
“I got these flags planted here on the beach by these MAGA f**ks,” the ignorant pile of trash said. “Listen, this is all America. We know. You didn’t storm the beaches to stake out your territory on the beach. This isn’t the f**kin’ Moon. I get it. This is America. But I’m sick of my flag being represented by white nationalist trash on a God d**n beach. Go f**k yourselves.”
He must be a blast at parties.
I think it says a whole lot more about him than the people that were on the beach flying the American flag, that he automatically thinks to show pride in the very flag that represents the United States of America, is being used as a white nationalist symbol rather than a symbol of pride for ones nation.
Back in 2021, a woman named Mara Gay went on the MSNBC to claim she found it "disturbing" to see all the American flags on Long Island over Memorial Day weekend."
What I find disturbing about her being disturbed about seeing all those flags and getting triggered by them, is it was Memorial Day weekend.
Memorial Day is one of the federal holidays in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Colorado man charged in NYC with damaging Pride flags at Stonewall National Monument
Police said the incident was part of a “criminal mischief pattern” in which people vandalized flags at the monument during Pride Month.
They considered that a "hate" crime.
The Supreme Court ruled in 1989 that burning an American flag was protected political speech, so how is it anything else if the flag in question is a gay pride flag?
Which brings to to a report that kicked this article off, where a man, protesting the banning of the American flag at Edison NJ town hall meetings, by holding a flag and the U.S. Constitution, was kicked out of the meeting, claiming the flag was a "prop."
"Bassoff said he objected to the council's attempt to 'gag' the public and tore up a copy of the ordinance and argued the U.S. Constitution gives the public the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances and every member of the council took an oath to uphold the Constitution."
Council president Nishith Patelk then said that the prop was in violation of council rules and that he was forfeiting his time.
"He is in violation, he can be removed," Patel said.
Bassoff had also held up an American flag, noting that by stopping residents from such displays, the council risked legal action.
"I’m holding up an American flag to represent the constitutional values," he said.
"It’s my constitutional right to do this," Bassoff continued. "If you get sued, you will lose. My suggestion to you is that you get a second opinion from competent counsel because you are wrong."
As residents clapped, Patel instructed officers to have the man "removed."
This hatred of the American flag, by the liberal left, is getting worse, not better.
If one party is being used as an association with the American flag, those being Republicans and conservatives, then those complaining about Old Glory, should look more within themselves than those raising and waving the American flag in pride.
Frankly these people triggered by the American flag should get a one way ticket to another country and not let the door hit them where the Good Lord split them.
