MSM Trying To Incite Riots After New York Trump Guilty Verdict Backfired With Trump Campaign Bringing In $53 Million In 24 Hours After Verdict, 30% Of Which Came From New Donors And Conservatives Vow 'Lawfare' Tit For Tat
There were no riots, nor vandalism, and cities and businesses weren't set on fire as we generally see when angry Democrats, including Antifa and BLM, suffer a setback, or decide to protest publicly.
The perpetually angry crowd aka liberals cheered in joy at the verdict, before becoming enraged when it was announced that within a day, the Trump campaign announced it had brought in $53 million in donations. Worse yet, the campaign revealed that "30 percent of the donors who gave online were new to WinRed, giving the former president an invaluable infusion of new people to tap for contributions as his campaign marches to November."
It must have mentally pained the NYT writer who was forced to type that out.
Reuters reports that conservative mega donors decided to speak with their wallets as well.
In a flurry of support on Thursday, mega donors including casino billionaire Miriam Adelson and hotelier Robert Bigelow lined up behind Trump, with their donations set to bolster a wave of pro-Trump ads, door-knocking and phone banking in battleground states.
• Robert Bigelow, who is one of Trump's top supporters having already given over $9 million to an outside group supporting him, said criminal proceedings against Trump were a "disgrace." "I'm sending President Trump another $5 million as I promised him," Bigelow told Reuters.
• Don Tapia, a former Trump ambassador to Jamaica, said he and a small network of family and friends with whom he donates had planned to give around $250,000 this election to support Trump. After Thursday's conviction, Tapia told Reuters the group would aim to give over $1 million to the pro-Trump spending group MAGA Inc in coming weeks. "We're going to go all-in for him," said Tapia. He sent Reuters a photo of an American flag flying upside down outside his home in Paradise Valley, Arizona to protest the verdict.
• A Silicon Valley tech investor, Shaun Maguire, posted on social media site X after the verdict that he had donated $300,000 to support Trump. "I believe our justice system is being weaponized against him," said Maguire, who described himself as a former Hillary Clinton supporter who switched to supporting Trump in 2021 after the Biden administration's chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Maguire told Reuters he had not previously donated to Trump.
Campaign wise, a snap poll for Daily Mail found Trump received an immediate six point bump, with 27% that had a positive view of Trump saying the verdict didn't change their opinion. 32% already had a negative opinion, and there was no change. 22% of those polled had a more positive view of Trump after the verdict, with just 16% having a more negative view of him after the verdict, for a 6% net gain.
The liberal MSM so badly wanted this verdict to cause riots by Trump supporters, they scoured the internet for threats so they could say "AHA!," and while the found "enraged" supporters, none of it translated to the violence Democrats are so known for when they suffer a setback, or decide to protest.

MSM WANTS A CIVIL WAR.......
Reuters titled their piece "Trump supporters call for riots and violent retribution after verdict," and they managed to list *GASP* five whole comments to breathlessly report on.
• “Someone in NY with nothing to lose needs to take care of Merchan,” wrote one commentator on Patriots.Win. “Hopefully he gets met with illegals with a machete,” the post said in reference to illegal immigrants.
• On Gateway Pundit, one poster suggested shooting liberals after the verdict. “Time to start capping some leftys,” said the post. “This cannot be fixed by voting."
• “1,000,000 men (armed) need to go to Washington and hang everyone. That's the only solution,” said one poster on Patriots.win. Another added: “Trump should already know he has an army willing to fight and die for him if he says the words...I’ll take up arms if he asks.”
• Other posts specifically urged targeting Democrats, in some cases suggesting they be shot. “AMERICA FULLY DESTROYED BY DEMOCRATS. LOCK AND LOAD,” wrote a commentator on Gateway Pundit.
Reuters waits until the 18th paragraph to acknowledge "While the posts identified by Reuters all called for violence or insurrection, most fell short of the legal standard for a prosecutable threat, which typically requires evidence that the comment reflects a clear intent to act or instill fear, rather than simply suggesting a frightening outcome."
NBC News did the same thing, as if they aren't happy they got a guilty verdict, they want violence, so they can blame Trump for it, even though he has never encouraged physical violence.
They headlined with "Trump supporters try to doxx jurors and post violent threats after his conviction."
First and foremost, I personally do not think the jury deserves "privacy," and should stand by their verdict instead of hiding in the shadows.
Secondly, NBC News went a step further than Reuters and tried to tie the reaction from the verdict to......January 6, 2021.
The posts, which have been reviewed by NBC News, appear on many of the same websites used by Trump supporters to organize for violence ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. These forums were hotbeds of threats inspired by Trump’s lies about the 2020 election, which he lost, and that the voting system was “rigged” against him. They now feature new threats echoing Trump’s rhetoric and false claims about the hush money trial, including that the judicial system is now “rigged” against him.
“We need to identify each juror. Then make them miserable. Maybe even suicidal,” wrote another user on the same forum. “1,000,000 men (armed) need to go to washington and hang everyone. That’s the only solution,” wrote another user. “This s--- is out of control.”
“I hope every juror is doxxed and they pay for what they have done,” another user wrote on Trump’s Truth Social platform Thursday. “May God strike them dead. We will on November 5th and they will pay!”
Again, I repeat, there has not been one violent incident like we saw from liberals in 2020, where towns were on fire, looting was a nightly issue and vandalism ran rampant.
The MSM is actively trying to cause riots, anger conservatives more, because as it stands, Biden is underwater via approval and disapproval, Trump is ahead in swing state polls and slightly ahead in national general election polling, which skews to the left, so the lead is likely even more than what they are admitting.
If anything, Biden might see a small upward bounce, or Trump might see a small percentage drop, but things will be back to where they were the day before the verdict within a week or two.
They needed a game changer, and they truly thought a kangaroo court guilty verdict would benefit Biden, and when that backfired with Trump pulling in $53 million in 24 hours, with 30% new donors, with mega donors pledging more
Instead of getting what they wanted, which was rioting and violence to drive Trump supporters away, what they got instead is the determination to "do unto them, what they have done unto Trump."
