We have been documenting the increase in food insecurity, and food shortages that started in 2020, which the media constantly claims is the result of the Covid pandemic, when in reality the food shortages were directly caused by the overreactions of politicians and the tyrannical lockdowns which set events in motion that caused and are still causing a food crisis.
Every few months we're told by the MSM, on behalf of the Biden regime, that the end if the shortages are near, the light at the end of the tunnel can be seen, until it becomes apparent they were "wrong," aka lied through their teeth, then we see the same pattern play out.
Now the Biden regime is admitting to the shortages because he now thinks he can blame Russia's actions in Ukraine, hoping people will forget the price pikes and food shortages in grocery stores over the past year-plus, long before the Russia/Ukraine conflict.
Today we see warning signs that a confluence of events happening right now, most, if not all, of the pain that is to come, could have been mitigated, yet direct actions and Biden policies have not done so, and have, in fact, deliberately made things worse.
THE POLITICS BEHIND STARVING A NATION
The majority of all food issues, from empty shelves to products being jammed into spaces meant for other products, just to make the stores shelves look stocked, to the delivery issues, to the spike in gas prices causing delivery delays and more price hikes, to the "mandates" on vaccinations, and so much more, have mostly stemmed from political decisions meant to push a liberal agenda.
Keystone Pipeline:
As Stefan Stanford recently pointed out, the rising cost of fuel is one of the main drivers of inflation, from the cost of food togas to every product available in retail stores, because truckers must deliver them and the cost of doing so has risen considerable.
We have mentioned this before, but it is worth repeating: When Joe Biden started occupying the White House, one of his first acts was killing off the Keystone Pipeline. From that moment on tens of thousands more jobs were lost, America went from being energy independent for the first time in over 60 years under Trump, to being dependent on foreign powers and hostile nations again.
Soon after Biden took office, the Energy Information Agency reported that the United States would begin importing more oil than it would export for 2021 and 2022. On January 27 of this year, Biden drafted an executive order largely affected the oil and gas industry. The order included the following guidelines:
• Halted new oil and gas leases on federal onshore lands such as national parks and offshore waters (however, this did not affect tribal lands)
• Directed the Secretary of the Interior to consider adjusting coal, oil and gas royalties to “account for corresponding climate costs” (i.e., the industry expected increased royalties)
• Suspended new leases, contracts, or drilling permits for at least 60 days
• Withdrew the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline
Each of those actions affected our energy costs and gas prices. Therefore each of those actions, in just one economy-killing executive order, affected everything from farming, to deliveries, to our food supply, including both shortages and spiking prices.
That was a political decision, pushing the liberal climate change agenda, that negatively affected Americans.

Lockdowns:
Unlike under the Trump administration, the Biden regime encouraged state lockdowns, state leaders' decrees and tyranny, as well as attempted to mandate vaccines, boosters, vaccine passports, etc.... once again bowing to the dictatorial and tyrannical faction of the Democrat party, which has become the majority.
Those lockdowns that liberal state leaders pushed, to the point actual tyranny, kicked off a supply chain failure that became exponentially worse when Biden started occupying the White House, because rather than trying to reopen the nation as Trump was doing, he encouraged state leaders to continue to keep businesses closed, schools shuttered, and the populace disallowed to things like dine out, go to the gym....you get the point.
Those initial lockdowns caused a domino effect on our supply chain.
Schools and restaurants were forced to stay closed, or open at limited capacity, therefore the standing orders, and demand for supply of meats, produce and other industry-related products, forced farmers and ranchers to destroy their own animals and produce because they could not offload it.
Again, these were political decisions as conservatives started opening their states, yet liberal state leaders, with Biden's urging for more drastic and dystopian limitations on Americans' freedoms.
In the last year a number of decisions and policies have come from the White House that has made the food crisis worse, instead of the "better" the MSM kept promising.
That includes the recent sanctions against Russia, to which Joe Biden readily admitted would hard America and cause more shortages.
That ladies and gentlemen is how we got here.
WARNINGS OF WORSE TO COME...
We have seen multiple warnings coming from readers that have been talking to their local grocers, and two of them are shown below.
I was shopping at a local Publix...in the meat department the guy was stocking the display and I said "Have you considered setting up loan department to approve sales" he laughed and said "We price like this to keep stock on the shelf...we wind up throwing 50-60% away....but it's the price we're paying "TO APPEAR STOCKED... there's nothing in the back"
He said when the stuff hits the last day before expiring, employees are allowed to take it home 50% off.......oh YAAAA
They know and are gaming us to avoid panic for as long as they can
Good morning ,Hawk and Steve, I know I sent an email out to you both in regard to the warnings I was given by several different store managers. Well I have another one. Yesterday the store manager at Price Less Foods told me that the price of eggs will be doubling and there will be a massive shortage of eggs. I am lucky to live in an area where I can purchase fresh eggs from several different people who have chickens, not everyone can. I remember when eggs were very important for my survival and being able to feed my kids. There was a time I could not afford deli meats and egg salad was the main ingredient in our sandwiches, also we had an omelet once a week for a main meal, French toast was a treat and I would ad an egg and some bread crumb to my hamburger meat to stretch it. It seems they are making affordable meals unaffordable I told you how the American cheese is going up I have to stop at Ingles tomorrow to get some Bordens it's on sale 3 for $5. Ya know the expression wild Wiesel is not strong enough for what they are doing to us. I am suggesting to you that the next time you are in a Walmart or Grocery store take a good look at peoples faces, they look stunned or in shock.
Critics would claim that reader warnings aren't "news," but when we see the "news" reports confirming those warnings, those claims by the critics are meaningless.
More than three-quarters of Americans, 79%, say they've experienced shortages of grocery items they wanted to buy in the last three months, according to a new survey of 998 US adults by SurveyMonkey on February 17. The study was commissioned by Momentive
More than half of respondents said that they've faced shortages of meat or eggs and paper products, like toilet paper and paper towels. Dairy product shortages were noticed by 50% of respondents, while canned good shortages were a bit rarer, experienced by 41% of those surveyed.
(Note: The Business Insider headline specifies that "last 3 months." Long before the Russia/Ukraine conflict, yet Biden is trying to blame Russia present day.)
This week, analysts report that the breast meat and tender markets are poised to continue to increase. Urner Barry has reported that small and medium boneless breasts are at record high prices. Small bone-in and boneless products are under intense supply pressure, as analysts report lower cumulative placements over last year, due primarily to hatchability. Analysts forecast price increases for jumbo breasts through May, and jumbo tenders through August. Industry analysts report that continued labor issues, high feed cost and ingredient shortages are hampering production in Further Processing facilities. Retail and Further Processing demand continues to increase, creating additional pressure in the foodservice supply arena. Analysts expect higher prices and tight supplies of boneless breast meat and tenders into the second quarter, based on low cold storage levels, fuel price increases and supply constraints.
A Google search trend graph is one of those things you have to see to fully understand the severity of what Americans are seeing and where.
THE SHORT LIST....................
In a previous piece we offered links to a large variety of food products with reasonable prices and availability and delivery options, but here I would like to focus on a shorter list of products we are seeing the most warnings about.
In other words, chicken, eggs and dairy products will be our focus today.
Chicken: With the recent reports regarding chicken and the expected severity of the shortages here and more to come, along with the news that prices are going to continue going up, stocking up on different cuts of chicken now, could save you as mall fortune in the upcoming months.
While there is no shortage of food shortages, there are items such and chicken and dairy products that are suffering a confluence of events that are making the issue increase almost weekly.
Americans need to ask themselves what will they do if the store shelves all of a sudden cannot be restocked at all.
If you are prepared for that, then your suffering will be minimal, especially compared to those that refuse to pay attention and are depending on the time to do that last minute "panic" shopping when the media finally get around to detailing the severity of the issue.
Those not prepared have been warned and have no one but themselves to blame when SHTF.
