For many years ANP, and many other Independent Media websites, have warned that the open border during some previous presidential administrations were allowing terrorists into America alongside "refugees," without a way to verify whether they were legitimate refugees or terrorists hiding within groups of actual refugees.
Many reports of mostly military-aged men, from nations with close ties to terrorism, have been published here and on many other websites, with warnings about the potential for sleeper cells to become activated by a world event, and for individuals or groups of them to plan and execute attacks on U.S. soil against Americans.
Defining a Sleeper Cell
A sleeper cell is a small, covert group or individual established within a target area, designed to remain inactive or dormant for an extended period. These operatives blend into the local population, often for years, until receiving orders to carry out a specific mission. The sleeper aspect emphasizes their prolonged inactivity and ability to blend seamlessly into everyday life to avoid detection.
The cell aspect refers to a small, independent unit, which makes them harder to find and infiltrate. This structure limits the damage to the larger organization if one member is caught, as they have limited information about the rest of the network. These independent units are often designed to function without constant guidance from a central command.
American counterterrorism agencies are quietly monitoring suspected sleeper cells on U.S. soil in the wake of joint U.S.–Israel strikes on Iran, stepping up surveillance amid heightened fears of possible retaliation from Iran-linked operatives or sympathizers.
The shooting in Austin, by a lone gunman, which killed 3 and injured at least 14 others, by a man wearing a "Property of Allah" clothing, already proves there are fanatics already within the country.
Now imagine a group of fanatics, already on U.S. soil, that having been planning a major attack, possibly organizing for years, deciding the fall of Iran's regime is their "activation" signal.
"If ever there's going to be a Hezbollah cell or a Hamas cell act in the United States in a violent way, it's now," Chris Swecker, a former assistant FBI director, told Fox News.
"Both organizations are Iranian-backed all the way. Both organizations have had a presence in the United States since the 1980s," he added.
Swecker said U.S. authorities have long been aware of domestic networks and sympathizers.
"We know that they have cells here. We also know that there are lone sympathizers, many of whom have come out in these protest groups," he added. (Source)
With many of these groups or "cells" having had years to plan and organize, as well as scout out the best most devastating places to attack, we are looking at the potential for mass destruction. Especially if they went after vulnerable infrastructure, such as an attack against power grids, or multiple attacks against sub-stations in multiple states.
This is literally one of the main reasons many prepping websites have encouraged people to prepare, prepare, and then prepare some more.
IRAN'S NEW LEADERS WANT TO TALK NOW....DOES IT MATTER?
According to President Trump, but has not been confirmed by Iran’s foreign ministry, many Iranian officials in previous talks with the U.S. are no longer alive after the U.S.-Israel joint strikes on Iranian leadership. Trump says now Iran wants to negotiate, but conflicting reports are coming out of Iran, which shows that their "leadership" is in chaos and nothing can truly be believed until further talks begin again.
No matter who ends up being in charge in Iran, nor whatever outcome of any subsequent talks, Iranian, Hezbollah, Hamas, or any other Iran-related sleeper cells in America, may not care now that Ali Khamenei and his top officials are dead. They may have no contact whatsoever and move ahead with the plans that were already in place in case of such an event.
We are seeing multiple reports warning that "Federal counterterrorism agencies are on high alert for a potential retaliatory attack on U.S. soil," by the Tehran regime and its proxy forces to seek "revenge."
“Iran has developed this capability to carry out attacks abroad over many years,” including in the United States, former FBI and Treasury Department counterterrorism official Matthew Levitt said. “If there was ever a time the regime would want to act on it, it would be now.”
Physical attacks are not the only thing that federal counterterrorism agencies are watching out for as previous warning and bulletins have shown, as recently as June 2025:
Cyberattacks against U.S. networks “by pro-Iranian hacktivists are likely,” with other attacks possible by the Iranian government, the bulletin said.

Citing Iran’s “long-standing commitment to target U.S. Government officials,” the bulletin said “the likelihood of violent extremists in the Homeland independently mobilizing to violence in response to the conflict would likely increase if Iranian leadership issued a religious ruling calling for retaliatory violence against targets in the Homeland.”
No one can say with 100% certainty whether a major attack, cyber or physical, will occur, but it is certain that the sleeper cells are in America, and have been for years, exacerbated by the open border policy of the Biden or "autopen" regime, or that their sole purpose is to "activate," but no one but those in said sleeper cells can definitively say what will cause the activation.
Last summer, Customs and Border Protection warned about the increased possibility of terrorist sleeper cells when more than 700 Iranian nationals were allowed to remain in the US after crossing the border illegally in the past four years, according to a leaked memo obtained by The Post at the time. • U.S. prosecutors have publicly described cases in which Hezbollah operatives inside the United States conducted pre‑operational surveillance and assembled targeting information, notably Ali Kourani and Samer el Debek, who told prosecutors they were part of a unit reporting through Hezbollah and ultimately tied to Iran’s oversight, and a set of arrests in 2017 and 2019 where operatives were detained for surveillance and explosives stockpiling activities — those arrests were presented by authorities as evidence of sleeper‑style networks preparing contingency plans rather than active plots underway. After President Trump left the G7 summit in Canada a day early last week, it was learned he had received a message from Iran that if the U.S. attacked its nuclear facilities, the regime could activate sleeper cells in the U.S. to launch terror attacks.
The FBI says "assets are fully engaged" to prevent an attack, and Homeland Security is warning of a "heightened threat environment," but saying little else.
Now is the time to take stock of your prepping stores, rotate according to date, use what is ready to expire, top off your preparations or add to them. Whether it is generators, survival foods and water, stocking up on medications in case of a cyber attack that makes it impossible to refill any prescriptions, having cash on hand....whatever is needed, now might be a good time to go through what you have, and to restock what you do not.
as I have said multiple times in the past, it is better to be prepared and not need it, than to need something and not be prepared. Survival foods can be eaten before they expire, and a generator can be used in the event of a bad storm wiping out electricity for days or even weeks. Extra medications will be used anyway as well.
