Many of us remember the images, signs saying "Become Ungovernable," and "THIS IS WAR," as images of violence, rioting and fires quickly appeared on the Internet.
It wasn't long after President Trump's election that GOP lawmakers in multiple states decided to start proposing "free speech" on campus bills, forcing educational institutes to start policing their students, stopping the radical liberal students from violently preventing conservatives speakers from utilizing their First Amendment rights.
It is now 2019, and while social justice warriors, feminists and Antifa thugs are still trying to use violence and intimidation to prevent any conversation or discussion about any ideologies they do not agree with, how these people are being treated, the responses to their antics, have changed in dramatic ways.
Granted some institutions are still coddling these "triggered snowflakes," by refusing to report news that some may find "traumatic," like coverage of a *gasp* conservative speaker, but the majority of what we are observing now is that conservatives and some school officials, and law enforcement, are no longer turning a blind eye to the fascist tactics of today's radical liberals.
For example, back in 2017, Milo's event was cancelled, and Ann Coulter was blocked from speaking at UC Berkeley due to safety concerns, yet on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, Ann Coulter not only spoke at UC Berkeley despite protests, but multiple masked thugs were arrested.
The next example comes from Chico State University in California where Brandon Straka, a gay hairdresser from New York, and a Hillary Clinton voter, who started the #WalkAway campaign after discovering he had been lied to by the press about Donald Trump for years, and Blaire White, a conservative transgender activist, were slated to speak.
Before the event, Chico State Republicans set up a table to sign up attendees when Michael Curry, the president of Chico State Republicans, was attacked for holding a sign that said "All Lives Matter."
As is typical with snowflakes that think nothing of attacking others, verbally or physically, because they think differently, the woman then sat down a cried as if she was the victim and when the police showed up she laid on the ground claiming she was having a panic attack and was brought to the hospital in an ambulance.
Straka, one of the main speakers of the event, showed up to do a promotional for it, highlighting that there were already protesters on the scene and encouraging those other voices to be heard alongside of his, yet a look at how he was treated, gives a good glimpse into how unhinged college snowflakes still are.
Very interesting to see that liberals, who claim to be the social justice warriors that will fight tooth and nail for minority groups such as gays and transgenders, are attacking a gay man because he is conservative.
Another change in 2019 is that feminists, riding high on their cloud of entitlement and "wokeness," are attempting to shove that all down our throats in their Hollywood films, which are flopping in a big way.
Charlie’s Angels’, a reboot of the old 70’s TV show and the early 2000’s movies, that stars Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame, along with relative unknowns Naomi Scott and Ella Balinski, hit theaters last weekend with blockbuster ambitions and a defiant “girl power” message. Not surprisingly, the film opened with a resounding thud and fell decidedly flat with audiences as evidenced by its paltry $8.6 million box office.
Elizabeth Banks, who wrote and directed the movie, unabashedly declared it to be a feminist enterprise filled with “sneaky feminist ideas.”
Banks says of Charlie’s Angels, “One of the statements this movie makes is that you should probably believe women.”
The films star, Kristen Stewart, said of the movie,“It’s kind of like a ‘woke’ version.”
Charlie’s Angels’ failure is just the most recent evidence that woke feminist films are box office poison. The film’s financial floundering comes on the heels of the cataclysmic, franchise-destroying performance of another big budget piece of pro-feminist propaganda, ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’, which sank at the box office like an Austrian-accented cybernetic android into a vat of molten steel. Hasta la vista, woke baby.
This comes on the heels of a number of other "woke" feminist movies that have failed spectacularly at the box office, as detailed by RT.
Of course the director of the new Charlie's Angels, Elizabeth Banks, blames misogyny for the films abject failure, stating "“If this movie doesn’t make money, it reinforces a stereotype in Hollywood that men don’t go see women do action movies."
Oh please. As a female, and a long time Charlie's Angel fan, from the series to the original movie in 2000, one couldn't pay me enough to go see a "woke" and feminist version because the entire point on the show was that it was fun and entertaining, and face it, feminists are not fun in any way, nor are they entertaining.
Maybe these female directors and celebrities should use an example of a truly strong woman to inspire them, such as an 82 year old woman that was attacked in her own home, but unfortunately for her attacker, she was a a bodybuilder that beat the living hell out of the attacker, first with a table, then poured shampoo all over his face, then beat him with a broom.
Last but not least, a video we have seen in the comment section, but simply had to have in an article. An Antifa thug, wearing a pink backpack decided to block a truck. Said truck driver moved slowly but didn't let the goon stop him, until the Antifa jerk decided to then punch the truck.
The truck driver got out and wailed on him.
Now THAT is the proper response to any little thug that thinks they have the right to touch you or your possessions.
