Videographer Strangeness Video published a disturbing video, showing a convoy of military vehicles traveling on Route 91 South on January 16, 2015, titled "Military Units on The Move in Western Massachusetts (Martial Law or Something Big is Going Down)."
A search of news on multiple search engines provides no "official explanation" for this convoy ,which of course leaves the purpose for this type of military movement open to Internet speculation, with the video details showing an update indicating that perhaps this is in response to the daily Connecticut earthquakes which the state has announced they are coordinating earthquake preparations for.
As can be seen looking at a map of the US, MA is north of CT, so if this is part of their "preparations" then it makes sense that the convoy is moving south, BUT the type of military vehicles, shown in the screen shots below, are not what one would expect from simple preparation as is discussed in the article linked above.
A report by Boston Herald indicates that over the past 10 days there have been a dozen minor tremors triggered by an "earthquake swarm" in eastern CT and a scientist by the name of Dr. John Ebel, senior research scientist at Boston College’s Weston Observatory reminds residents that while the swarm has not caused any damage, "there is every reason to believe that at some point in the future we will have damaging earthquakes again."
As many as 12 minor earthquakes, ranging from magnitude 1.0 to 3.1, have been detected by the United States Geological Survey and the Weston Observatory in the area of Plainfield, Killingly and Sterling, Conn., since Jan. 8, with the most recent occurring at 9:39 a.m. on Thursday. This is the first “earthquake swarm” to occur in New England since a series of quakes shook Bar Harbor, Maine, in 2006, according to MEMA.
“Earthquake swarms are not usually followed by a significantly stronger quake, although this possibility cannot be conclusively ruled out and there are instances of swarms being followed by a strong, damaging earthquake,” MEMA warned in a situational awareness statement issued Thursday. “MEMA has been in contact with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and has been advised that none of the nuclear power plants in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts are reporting operational issues as a result of the earthquake activity.”
The amount of military vehicles shown, as well as different types, is definitely indicative of massive preparation, yet officially CT residents and those across the country are being told that nothing huge is expected from the CT earthquakes, which leaves us with the question of why so many military vehicles are seen traveling south through Mass?
You can witness the military convoy in the video below, but before doing so, note this WARNING - OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE IN THE MUSIC HEARD IN THE VIDEO - THIS CAN BE MUTED BY CLICKING THE SPEAKER SYMBOL RIGHT NEXT TO THE "PLAY" BUTTON IN THE LOWER LEFT SIDE OF THE VIDEO.
Screen shots of these vehicles are shown below the video. (HT LFOD in finding this video)
