From The U.S. State Department to Hollywood Celebrities And Social Media Using Liberals, Snowflakes Have Returned In Full Force, Needing Therapy Sessions And Virtual Safe Spaces
The term snowflake sort of went by the wayside over the past four years, yet there is no other word that applies as accurately to the U.S. government, specifically the State Department, who is holding "therapy and listening sessions" for their employees, who are unable to process the election of Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
Before getting into a letter that exposed this outrageous use of taxpayer dollars, let us take a look at what the "about" page of the U.S. State Department says: "To protect and promote U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values and shape an international environment in which all Americans can thrive."
More, it states "Our role has also changed in response to changing global circumstances. At one time, the State Department was responsible for a number of domestic duties ranging from publication of the census to control of copyright to management of the Mint. We now work to fight terrorism, protect U.S. interests abroad, and implement foreign policy initiatives while building a more free, prosperous, and secure world."
These are people on the front lines of fighting terrorism, or so they say, yet the employees of the State Department cannot even handle the result of a democratic election in this Republic, as seen in a letter sent by Rep. Darrell Issa to the outgoing Secretary of state Antony Blinken.
As a Senior Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I write to you regarding reports of official post-election State Department therapy and listening sessions. 1 I am concerned that the Department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government-funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris was not elected President of the United States.
Instead, on November 5, the American people resoundingly elected Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States – a decisive repudiation of four years of failed Biden-Harris foreign policy. It is disturbing that ostensibly nonpartisan government officials would suffer a personal meltdown over the results of a free and fair election, something the United States champions around the world. It is unacceptable that the Department accommodates this behavior and subsidizes it with taxpayer dollars.

At least when "woke" companies do this type of thing, it is paid for by the company itself, not American taxpayers.
This goes beyond just the funding though, it directly impacts national security. If employees meant to help and protect America cannot even handle the results of a fair election, what does that tell the world about the U.S. as a nation, or to phrase it more bluntly, our position as a "super power?"
If other nations view this type of nonsense the way many conservatives do, it says we as a nation are weak, pathetic and a bunch of snowflakes.

SNOWFLAKES EVERYWHERE WE LOOK......
The liberal media meltdowns, the Democrat politicians and the social media scene has given conservatives quite a bit of fodder since November 5, 2024, and the return of the snowflake mentality, is quite the spectacle.
Liberals have been fleeing X, formerly known as Twitter, is droves. Most haven't deactivated their X accounts, but they make a big deal of informing the completely uninterested masses that they are leaving for BlueSky, another social media website.
Interestingly enough, they go there to complain about conservatives, the election, Donald trump and anything else they can find to whine about, but because conservative commentary on BlueSky is strictly verboten, they are now eating their own.
Billionaire and hard left liberal Mark Cuban discovered the "party of tolerance," is not as advertised, as shown above when he asked a simple question about welcoming opinions other than just liberals as long as it is civil.

Cuban is learning what conservatives at X have known for a long time. The left doesn't want discussion or debate, they want to see and hear only what they agree with.
Once Twitter was bought by Elon Musk, and conservatives stopped being banned for wrong-think, liberals all looked for a safe space, and thought they had found it, but without conservatives to complain about, they are attacking each other, which only came as a surprise to said liberal snowflakes.
The Wrap reported on BlueSky and how it is a "virtual safe space for celebs, media pundits, and disaffected X users looking to bash right wingers following the election."
What liberals are not considering, or maybe they just don't care how many social media platforms they ruin, is that Twitter was also once a virtual safe space for liberals under the former leadership. The ruined it, and it lost so much money it had to be sold.
BOTTOM LINE....
From the State Department to Hollywood celebrities and social media liberals, snowflakes have returned in full force.
