While 'big tech censorship' is nothing new in this day and age we live in, we've personally witnessed a massive uptick of that in the last few days alone against ANP readers who simply posted links to other stories in our comment sections.
With links posted by ANP readers in comments to stories from the NY Post, the Gateway Pundit, Sgt Report, 'Vaccine Impact' and numerous other stories, as well as to Reddit's 'Conspiracy Theory community', going straight into spam for containing 'restricted words', those comments were immediately approved by ANP upon learning of them.
But those stories being autoblocked into spam for containing 'restricted words' or written by 'restricted websites' such as the comment screenshot above made by 'Wilderness Wanderer' shows the latest uptick in censorship by 'big tech' of the rights of Americans to speak freely and discuss topics of any kind we want to, openly.
Stated perfectly by author Bruce Coville who warned "Withholding information is the essence of tyranny. Control of the flow of information is the tool of the dictatorship", we're witnessing just that across the board in America and across the world in 2021, as the free-flow of information is shut down and censored by a 'global elite' intent upon dominating the world into 2030 and well beyond.
And with 'big tech' leading America into well-known territory that we'd have been wise to have never ventured into as a 'free nation', we can learn a lot by looking at exactly WHAT and WHO they are censoring, with many stories that are auto-blocked challenging 'the official narrative' about vaccines and Covid-19.
So from Facebook censoring a recent interview with President Donald Trump to twitter censoring many Conservatives simply for posting links to anti-democrat/communism stories, I years ago learned of that censorship 1st hand, being banned by facebook, twitter and linkedin simply for posting story links to those tech outlets which apparently upset 'the powers that be'.
So with censorship always a tool of tyranny and tyrants and massive censorship being heaped upon Americans now all across the country, we've long warned that websites such as Gateway Pundit, Breitbart, Natural News and others were 'the canaries in the coal mine of tyranny', with any sudden and widespread 'abolishment' of such websites and the independent media in general absolute proof we've passed the point of no return towards tyranny.
And as the cartoon above by Ben Garrison of GRRRGraphics points out, when tyranny is on the march, it really doesn't matter if it's the 'left boot' or the 'right boot' that comes crashing down upon you, either way, it's the 'boot of tyranny'. Ben's own description of that cartoon.

Picking between Left vs Right, Democrat vs Republican is often a mere illusion of choice. In fact, we have a uni-party cabal in Washington.
Most of the Democrats and the Republicans living large and in-charge are part of the globalist ideology and establishment. Whether donkey or elephant, both sides are beholden to their banking and corporate masters.
Mere platitudes and lip service are given to ‘we the people’. Commoners like you and I are seen as pawns in the big globalist game.
So with most Americans having at one point fallen for the false left-right paradigm that keeps Americans divided into fractions despite the fact that there is very little difference between most of the two main political parties, as we'd warned on April 1st, 'divide and conquer' is now fully at play in America.
With much of America not only censored but fully 'dumbed down' according to Charlotte Iserbyt, the former senior policy advisor to the U.S. Department of Education under Ronald Reagan who blew the whistle on Reagan’s sellout of the American education system to the Soviets, when a former official in that capacity warns of America being 'dumbed down', you know something is seriously wrong.

As the story excerpted below from the Wallowa County Chieftain titled "On Liberty: Censorship is a tool of tyrants" clearly points out, censorship has been used as a tool of dictators going back ages.
With censorship defined by the ACLU as 'the suppression of words, images or ideas that are 'offensive'', the fact that seemingly everything became 'offensive' to the left over the past decade hints at why we're here. But as we'll see in this story excerpt, Americans can't let it go any further because we know where such censorship leads.
Americans have enjoyed the benefits of freedom for over 200 years. Our Founders were wise enough to recognize that in order to self-govern, the citizens and the press needed the ability to think independently from government influence. The First Amendment to the Constitution protects this value, while censorship opposes it. If we allow any form of censoring to gain a foothold, power-hungry authoritarians will use it as a tool to gain power over our speech and our minds.
After securing victory and ending the Russian Civil War in the early 1900s, the Bolsheviks signed the “Decree on Press” to prohibit the publishing of any “bourgeois” articles that were critical of the new government.
In 1930s Germany, the Nazi Party strictly enforced censorship to promote the circulation of propaganda that celebrated their ethnic superiority and simultaneously dehumanized the Jewish people.
We know now that millions of Soviet citizens were sent to prison work camps known as gulags for speaking out against the government, and of course the unchallenged Nazi propaganda played a significant role in the events that led to the Holocaust.
Currently, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is reportedly operating modern concentration camps housing Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang Province. The CCP denies their existence, insisting that they are reeducation schools to combat “extremism” and to inspire loyalty to the party. Few people truly know what is happening in China because the CCP has such a tight grip on the flow of information.
Warning within that story that in 2021 America,the major threat that we face is 'big tech', what happens when 'big tech' joins up with 'big government' to stomp out the people's ability to speak freely? We surely don't want to see it here because we've already seen in the past where it leads, giving Americans all across the country another reason to prepare for madness in the days ahead with the left and big tech leading us now in that direction.
So we'll agree with that story's conclusion, censorship is nothing less than 'mental slavery', something that never should be allowed to flourish here, especially considering in the past, it's led to the worst government carried out horrors imaginable.
Instead of working to silence our opposition, we should seek to engage with people whose views we find challenging, and we must not fail to challenge speech suppression, even the suppression of speech we abhor. Censorship is nothing more than mental slavery and it has no place in a nation founded on principles of freedom and justice for all.
