Trump Derangement Syndrome Part Deux: Media's Obsession With Trump Is Driving Liberal Masses To Mental Heath Professionals, Terrified Into Psychiatric Crisis By The MSM
Does anyone remember any stories, articles, even just chatter online, about how conservatives or Republicans needing extra mental health care during the four years Joe Biden occupied the White House?
I cannot remember a single one, yet in 2016, we heard about "Trump Anxiety Disorder," which was the name mental health care professionals gave to Trump derangement Syndrome, and lo and behold, once again we have a litany of stories about how media personalities cannot even stop for breakfast because Trump is doing something, or having a press conference, or how "Americans," are stressed over Trump's "shock and awe" pace.
These Americans, when we see the issues they are stressing over, are Democrats, despite the leftist website Axios headlining with the word "Americans, in their latest piece of sympathy for those that just can't stop watching the news, and liberal pundits freaking out over every single thing the Trump administration is doing.
Conservatives expected exactly what is happening as on the campaign trail, Trump promised he was going to do exactly what he is doing, including having Elon Musk's DOGE team search for, and eliminate, government fraud and corruption.
The only people finding it chaotic are the MSM pundits that basically slept through Biden's four years, and Democrat politicians that can't find one specific rallying point because things are happening so fast and furiously that by the time they ready a response to one action, Trump has taken five more steps.
The Trump administration's shock and awe strategy was meant to overwhelm opponents, disrupt the establishment and bust norms. But it's also sweeping up ordinary Americans who disdain politics but find they can't detach from the barrage of news.
Much like Trump's first term, it is the "news", the MSM, that is continuously screaming about the sky falling every time the Trump administration, or the DOGE team, does something.
It isn't Trump's action, nor his speedy pace, but rather the news that is sending liberals across the nation into a tailspin.
Suggestion to Democrats: Stop OD'ing on the MSM.
How do we know that the use of the term "Americans" by Axios is really just Democrats? Well, the issues are one tell.
That could be difficult, with rollbacks of DEI practices, Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids, trade wars, orders targeting transgender rights and Department of Government Efficiency takeovers of public data potentially touching every segment of society.
Is anyone reading this upset about any of the above? Doubtful, because most ANP readers are conservative, so just going by the issues named, we know the freakouts are coming from the left.
Mental health professionals say even people who don't see themselves as directly affected by administration actions are feeling frazzled by the dizzying pace and Trump's enduring ability to command attention.
They may feel it through the venting of a spouse, the distress of a neighbor with a trans child or an anxious friend who works for a government contractor.
The next tell is Axios admits in the piece, if not the headline, that it is Democrats melting down.
Bonior said she's seen an uptick in patients, particularly Democrats, expressing a sense of burnout, guilt and despair at losing an old way of life.
Finally Axios mentions the party affiliation, after the fold.
The point here is that if liberal websites and news outlets would stop freaking out every time President Trump opens his mouth or signs an Executive Order, then those watching and/or reading them would need to rush out and seek psychiatric help.

The mental health issues have been a problem for the left for years, as survey, study and polls after poll has shown, but this latest mental health crisis on the left comes down to basically one issue, which encompasses them all, the war on "woke," and the fact that President Trump is tearing through Democrats' cultural "sway," as the New York Post puts it.
The right just experienced its best three weeks in the culture war in 50 years.
A blitz of executive orders issued by President Trump have taken dead aim at left-wing cultural priorities and pillars of the lefts cultural influence.
Fashionable progressive ideas that have long been ascendant, including DEI and gender ideology, have received hammer blows since Trumps inauguration, and theres more to come.
