As we begin a brand new day in the history of this great nation, a tweet put out on Twitter by President Donald Trump early Friday morning sets the tone of this next chapter of America - 'the work begins'.
The newly revamped Trump White House website also echoes that theme - 'the movement continues, the work begins'. After decades of globalists policies that put America and Americans last, we know quite well that physics proves a freight train speeding headfirst in one direction takes some time to slow down and reverse its direction.
And while some will continue to correctly say that Trump is not 'our savior', it has never been more clear that Trump was indeed 'God's choice' for US president, a choice that tens of millions of Americans agree with. And now that Trump is in the role that He has chosen for him, we feel that Americans should unite behind him - the decision has been made. As Reverend Franklin Graham told Trump when it started to rain upon them all: “In the Bible, rain is the sign of God’s blessing, and it started to rain, Mr. President, when you came to the platform.”
While you may not love President Trump, just think of the only real alternative - America avoided Hillary Clinton being sworn in as our 45th president on Friday.
And while Susan Duclos and I here at ANP jumped on the 'trump train' quite early in the electoral process, while CNN and the MSM were still ridiculing and laughing at the prospect of a 'President Trump', we promise that as a small part of the 'new media', we will hold President Trump's feet to the fire.
Unlike the MSM with their groveling at the feet of Barack Obama and his chosen successor, Hillary Clinton, we promise to be fair in our coverage of Trump and his administration in the coming years and should he need to be called out on any number of issues, we promise to be there to call him out. As Piers Morgan stated in his new column over at the Daily Mail, despite the fact that Trump's speech was stirring, "he'll need to 'walk the walk' or the act doesn't play".
ANP will never 'shy away' from 'speaking truth to power'.
We're not the least bit surprised that parts of the MSM immediately began to compare Trump's speech to Adolf Hitler as heard in the 2nd video below from Mark Dice. As if the love of one's country is a horrible thing, is 'America first' a racist term as the MSM is reporting? If the MSM had payed any attention, they would have also noticed that Trump stated within his speech: "When you open your hearts to Patriotism there is no room for prejudice."
And we'll also be here to report praiseworthy events during Trump's administration and I'll have to admit myself, listening to President Trump's speech on Friday to the American people had tears building up in my eyes.
Saying exactly what needed to be said, he summed up his speech in a series of tweets to Twitter as we have shown in the series of screenshots below.
Promising the return of power to the American people, Trump himself will have a lot of work to do to live up to that promise with corruption in Washington DC at some of the highest levels and career politicians quite content to continue enriching themselves while the US middle class continues to crumble.

But we're happy to have this opportunity to hold Trump's and the MSM's feet to the fire and can't help but think how things might have been had the American people NOT come together behind Donald Trump and Hillary somehow manage to be (s)elected.
And just because of that fact alone, if none other, it is a glorious day to be an American! And as President Trump has stated, we now have our work cut out ahead of us and as we go, we should not fear moving ahead no matter what obstacles are thrown in our way.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.

Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.

You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before.

The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.
For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry;
Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military;
We've defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;
And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.
We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.
One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.
The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.
But that is the past.
And now we are looking only to the future.
We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.
From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.

Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families.

We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.
A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions.
It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.
And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.
So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words:
You will never be ignored again.
Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.
